About
Tomato is a culinary symbol of summer. Its taste brings memories of scorching sun, smell of hot air and quiet melody of long, careless evenings. This delicious and precious fruit, whose name originates from the mythical "golden apple", is worth the best culinary setting and entourage. It brings us extremely close to the unique charm of Italian cuisine, where tomatoes reign

Located on the second floor, Pomidoro boasts lovely views of the old Paper mill and the creek running alongside it. It also has nice old brick walls and a rustic modern interior. The food has always been consistently good, the portions large. As for their dessert, I highly recommend the panna cotta - it's absolutely delicious and my go-to dessert for this restaurant. The service is just average, can be a little slow at times, though nothing to complain about. Overall, an alright restaurant.

This is a great place with menu covering everything from Italian to Polish and European food. Good ambience, nice attentive staff and good meals. Pizza with anchovies was a little too salty but other than that nothing to fault.

Family Sunday lunch: we ate well, despite careless, insolent service. 'Would you like water, still or sparkling?' Yes please, tap water (kranowka). 'Still or sparkling?' Still tap water, please. 'We don't serve tap water.' Oh. Moving on, we ordered salads, and the day's special, risotto frutti di mare. 'The risotto will take 20 minutes.' That's OK, bring the salads first, then. The risotto, or rather, a risotto, arrives, different waitress. Mushroom risotto. Errr... we ordered the day's special, frutti di mare - can we have that please? OK. Then the waitress who took our order comes back with the mushroom risotto, claiming that was what we had ordered, in that shrill Polish tone that makes it clear she is telling the customer they are in the wrong. i insist (in the same tone) that I had pointed at the day's specials blackboard, and said the words 'frutti di mare' at least twice. She's not having it, but by this time, we're hungry enough to let it drop. No apology or acknowledgement that she had got the order wrong. Still no salads. The food was OK, but there are other places to eat in the Old Papermill, so I'll give this one a miss until I hear the service is better. That shrill tone hits a raw nerve, sounds like that bad old pre-1989 insolence to me. Puts me off my food.

Comfortable atmosphere, excellent service. Because of a mixup with order, they offered dessert on the house. Good call!

I was waiting 25 min for waiter to appear . Nobody during wait time did approach to ask to offer water or drinks, After that time I left the place with intention not coming back again.

A true gem! We ate inside and we're glad we did. The inside is very beautiful with a red brick wall and a fireplace with candles.
The goat cheese salad is a must. It's very flavorful and I wanted seconds :-) The pizza is also very good. Thin crust and full of wonderful toppings of ham and vegetables.
We also treated ourselves to the chocolate fondant with ice cream. It was also very tasty.
He wait staff are very friendly. They even gave us lemons for our water!
Be sure to eat here, you'll be glad you did.

I really like this place for a couple of reasons. First, the food is great. My husband and I ordered two different salads. They were super fresh and very tasty. Second, the restaurant is located in an old paper mill, and we liked its decor from the exposed brick to large wooden tables.

I ordered spaghetti carbonara, but it was dry, with a strange taste and after an hour I was feeling funny, because I was poisoned by it. I drunk some black tea and whisky after arriving home, but had a very bad, metallic after taste, long after finishing that meal.

Best italian-style tomato soup I've had in years! Salad with liver, forest fruits and a great dressing was also more than what you'd expect. Good place for a business dinner. Downside: we sat in an outside garden and waited for a waiter forever. There weren't many customers outside so I guess they didn't expect any. Gotta work on service a bit but apart from that - simply good food.

We were two for an evening meal and had cream of tomatoe for starters and split their pizza Siciliana (anchovies, capers, mozarella). Plus water. This cost ca 25 euro, quite pricey considering that tomatoe soup was simply passata drizzled with pesto and pizza was soft, gummy, overloaded with gooey cheese, quite tasteless and not very hot when it arrived. Not to be repeated.

I have visited many Italian restaurants in the past, both in Poland as well as Europe. What makes this one so unique is the setting coupled with a mix of very desirable and necessary factors. Friendly personnel contributing to a very welcoming atmosphere. Naturally, the food....fresh ingredients composed into a very tasty meal. Superb vegetables, sea food, fish, all washed down with a selection of some excellent wines. The sea food pizza, which I have ordered recently was particularly tasty. My other half assures me, that the tuna stake is to die for. Another main advantage is the distance, 300 metres away from home. No car, no hassle and no problem...pour the wine. A very family oriented restaurant. Definitely not cheap, but Hey...welcome to Konstancin.

Starting from prima sort location in old paper factory (Stara Papiernia) has very nice interior: raw, stylish, cozy.
Owners take care about the service level so the waiter's staff is stałe and well trained. Like The service so much.
From menu - there is fix and seassonal part - You must try famous pizza. Excellent, crispy, thin base and very balanced adds - You will feel like in Italy. Truly! Also pomodoro cream is very tasty and esentiall. Pastas worthy to try. At The end - famous chocolate fondant :)
Together with kichen They have wine store and selection.
In summer Time there is perfect outside garden.
If You are in Konstancin - this is Best place to eat!
