Mega seafoods in Fridays, kind waiters, open kitchen and great chef! I recommend this restaurant for everybody!
Gorgeous little restaurant. The kitchen is visible to everyone as you walk in so you can see all the food being cooked. Wines were excellent choices too
Love this restaurant so much that we went back 2 days later! The food is beautifully presented & delicious. The atmosphere is very cool with an interesting blend of artful design. Service was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better experience both times we...were there! Truly truly hope to be back in Bydgoszcz sometime soon so we can go back to Kuchnia!More
Every day, the menu is changed (depending on the availability of fresh products of the best quality). The herring and shrimp appetizer were insane! The best tabbouleh salad I've ever eaten. All poured very good Prosecco ;-) Excellent service and atmosphere, you can ask for...everything and always have time for you. Wonderful time!More
Thank you very much😌
Had heard that this was the best place to eat in Bydgoszcz. It did not disappoint, very small open kitchen intimate restaurant with a daily changing menu on the black board and and limited wine list but the wines were good, which all adds to...the charm, Staff were excellent and explained menu and wine list in fluent English. The steak tartare is amazing my wifes beetroot and goats cheese salad plentiful and really fresh (all made in front of us) chicken main with asparagus and gorgonzola sauce was created chicken moist and well cooked, we could not fault at all maybe not everyone's ideal restaurant. if you visit Bydgoszcz be sure to visit this oneMore
I know Kuchnia from the beginning when it was just a small restaurant around an open kitchen. Later they went into a new location in the city center. Kuchnia is a very good restaurant but the style of the owners irritates me enormously. They want...to create an environment where people come and eat what the house proposes ( with several choices ) Till there ok , but then they want as well to tell you what you should drink with it. In restaurants with sommeliers having a great knowledge of wines , this is understandable for as long as the customer can follow on a winelist what price goes with what wine. In Kuchnia however , they have no wine list and more , THERE IS NOBODY WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT WINES , SOME ADVISORS EVEN THINK THERE IS WHITE SAINT EMILION AND WHITE RIBERO . I guess the staff gets in the evening , just before the opening, the instruction to promote that evening one or the other bottle and that's it. They don't know what wines they have , what they cost , where they come from , what grapes are in it , what year it is .... to synthesize they know nothing. On its own , there are more restaurants in Poland without wine specialists but then please guys , understand you can have customers who know wine and don't be a clown but give them a simple winelist with names and prices instead of saying : " And the wine I recommend with this is a great Santa Martha " not knowing anything else then the title on the bottle. This is a shame because the kitchen is nice and the food in general very good. And another tip : do something on your frontdoor , each time it opens another customer is blown away from the cold wind.More
Their food has more Asian flare to it rather than polish taste but it’s in a good location, great service and nice atmosphere.
On a visit to Bydgoszcz we came across this small restaurant. We have no reservation but manage to get the last table. They have no set menu. We had a choice from 4 options for each coarse. We were sat next to the kitchen which...was open to see. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. We had a wild boar soup and i have pork neck. The red wine we had with the meal was superb. Friendly service. Highly recommended.More
Amazing food, from many various places, best customer service you can imagine, delicious wines, and all this in reasonable prices.
Good quality food, well cooked, very good Chilean white wine and Paula was a very nice waitress & person.
We stopped at the little sister restaurant for lunch. It was a great experience - very fresh food at very reasonable prices and very friendly service. We had lovely salads with fresh ingredients and bread. I’d really recommend it.
Fantastic restaurant and the food is very elegant, tasty and not pretentious . Polish white wine was surprisingly very good .the atmosphere is very relaxing I definitely recommend Kuchnia
I have been a customer of the place from the beginning. The place has actually the original branch at Grodzka street and the one on the picture is the Jatki street branch. Grodzka is done with passion and it's a tiny little place where getting...a table is a mission and everyday the different food is served. Jatki branch was opened so more people could try their food. I was never disappointed with any of my choices and have been there many times. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Bydgoszcz.More
My partner and I visited the Bar just around the corner from the main restaurant in March of this year, day after day because the service and food were incredible! Each day we were read the menu in English as neither of us can speak...Polish, the waiters did all they could to ensure we completely understood what each dish was. We ate a 3 course meal each with drinks and didn't pay more than £40, something that is impossible to find in the UK! The food itself was amazing - we could watch it be prepared from our seat and everything seems to be freshly made on ordering. I would recommend this restaurant over and over again!More
