Really tasty food, a great wine, stunning interiors, and nice stuff. Vegetarian dishes are available. I highly recommend the place if you are in Bydgoszcz :)

A very affluent and high end restaurant with great ambience and mouth watering cuisine. I was travelling with my partner and the location was not too far from the centre. We tried most of the food including the starters, mains, salads and drinks and each...of them creatively crafted and made so uniquely. Would visit again and recommend it to my friends travelling for Bydgoszcz!!More

Having read positive reviews, we walked out beyond the limits of the old centre to sample a very different and daring menu. As we approached, the side view of the restaurant looked very unappealing, but as we turned into the courtyard full of flowers and...saw the restaurant from the front, we were sure we would have a great experience, and we certainly did. The interior is all stripped brick and wrought iron, with eclectic modern art originals and upcycled furniture. The service was very professional, efficient, polite and prompt. The staff spoke excellent English and the menu was printed in Polish and English. On arrival we were given delicious house baked bread and olive oil on the house. We had the popcorn and pickled ginger soup to start, which was phenomenal. As a main I chose the confit duck leg and my wife had the trout. Both were outstanding. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant which we urge you to tryMore

I found a recommendation online for this place and reached it on foot to see the city on occasion. The restaurant is hidden and this mystery is a cool promise for something good. There are plenty of tables outside and quite a few inside, I...chose to have a table inside. The staff were friendly to me from the start and I didn't feel uncomfortable. Sometimes this happens to me when I'm traveling around the country because of work and eating alone. I didn't feel like an inferior customer, although towards the end I had the feeling that they wanted me to finish my meal sooner rather than later. The menu is printed on the placemats, so it's quick and easy to decide what to eat. There is a substantial wine list available and also a seasonal wine list. From the latter, I chose a glass of Riesling wine because I chose the trout greens. The waiter is pleased to help with the selection, but the descriptions on the wine list were enough for me. As well as this, I also opted for the lemonade, which was very heavily sweetened, which meant I had to leave the mint out to hide the sugar taste a bit. And I'm not a fan of mint, so this drink was a slight disappointment. Before the fish, I was given a welcome snack, which was bread and oil, of the restaurant's production. Which was a pleasant surprise, the oil was good, but without a pinch of salt for me, too strong in flavor. The bread tasted so good to me. Plus I'm further along on the keto diet, so when I decide to deviate they have to be as good as possible and these breads didn't encourage me to break the rules. After such a delicious lunch, I decided I would go wild and try dessert. Unfortunately, my nut allergy thwarted my plans. I couldn't choose a chocolate dessert (I love chocolate), so I opted for the Maracuja Creme Brulee. I got a double chocolate chip from the chef, in reparation that the chocolate dessert was eluding me. This was very crisp and light, I think a lot of people will like it, I'm not a fan of Creme Brulee, and on top of that the lemon and passion fruit flavors were too much for me. After a few little ups and downs, I think it was a great experience. The restaurant is lovely, even though it's loft-like, you can't take away from its coziness. I think I'll be back there in a while as there will be another season and a new menu :)More

Great service, great food in a high standard fine dining restaurant for reasonable cost. Vegetarian friendly. Daily specials. Own car park. Highly recommended.

This is a place where you really would like to come back. Beautiful design inside, amazing presentation of very good meal. Almost perfect...almost. We were a party of 4- our meals were fantastic. So...perfect you think ? not at all.. We did not feel welcomed...by our waiter at all. We sat down and waited for him for 30min to ask us for some drinks.....then we waited another 20min for our drinks to arrive! I had one glass of wine and ...waiter never asked me to top up and I would def would like another one! There was no conversation between us, no engaging from him, just serving and cleaning our table. The management needs to give their staff some decent customer service training . Not sure if we will be back, purely due to being ignored as a customer. When you pay a lot of money for 4x meals ( and again- very nice meals) -you don't want to be ignored, you want to feel special in this very special place.More

This is a large restaurant, quite some distance from the city center but worth a small walk. The doctor is nice, quite eclectic and despite many customers the food was served fast. We had some cheese to start with plus mains and it was all...rather nice. This is not the est food I have ever eaten but all done well and posttions were generous in my opinion. We had some fancy wine and a little chat with waiter about it. It is always good to hear some encouraging words when it doubt. Over all we had fun in that restaurant and it is all that matters really.More

It is a very proper restaurant. We were served quick and dishes was ok. Looking at the name I expected more Italian food but in fact it is a polish/european food.

The food wasn’t bad, the mushroom soup excellent and the pork neck was fine, but probably it’s not the right dish for me, so I didn’t enjoy it much. The service was really impolite, since the (male) waiter, that was able to speak some English,...decided to relate only to my (female) friend in Polish language, preventing me to understand what they were saying, and actually ignoring me completely apart the basic question about ordering dishes. When I tried to explain this at the desk, they didn’t apologize and they even started to laugh and speak in Polish among them. I should have ignored their request to pay as they ignored me during the lunch.More

Unfortunately, we are not able to express our opinion to its fullest as usual, as we had to leave the restaurant. Our waiter allowed us to choose our seating outdoor, however he completely forgot about us. 25 minutes passed, and he had still not come...to take our order. We observed him, and unfortunately the behavior was not accounted for i.e. dangling around, going outside to call someone, pouring drinks with another waiter etc. Perhaps we were not dressed to impress like some of the other customers? However, a paying customer is a paying customer, no matter how fancy the restaurant is! Luckily, we had amazing service at Luizjana restaurant.More
