The service was very slow. The food didn't arrive at the same time (we were a small group). The pierogi were terrible - absolutely bland taste and no salt in the dough. The armenian soup was very nice. Going back to the service, there was...a couple next to us who asked for 2 espressi, and it took about 15 minutes. In addition, the stairs to the toilet are very bad. I almost broke my neck on them and didn't even drink 🤷More
The place is very easy to spot and quite cosy. The place was recommended to us, and we were really excited, but unfortunately most of the courses were made with mixed beef and pork meat, which is a no-go for us.
However, we tried a...chaczapuri which was quite nice.
To be honest, it was a great disappointment for us with the meat situation, however we blame ourselves for not checking the menu beforehand.
To any wine lovers out there, we could hear from some of the other guests that the wine is fantastic.More
We chose this place on the busy main square because being Armenian, it was something different, and we wanted to try the Zwierzyniec brewery beer. The waiter was very helpful, and our shashlik meal was very good. Loved the grilled aubergine and courgette was tasty...too. They really need to do something about the stinky toilet!More
After visiting the town museum (immediately behind the restaurant) we had a simple lunch on the patio. Nettle soup (Zupa pokrzywowa - surprisingly delicious), Tolma (Armenian stuffed grape leaves), and Horowac (Armenian pork shashlik served with grilled vegetables and lavash). All well done, and perfect...for a hot day in the Rynek Wielki.More
Interesting set up and aesthetic finish with link to Armenian trading past of the town. Delusions local food - really well made and presented. Price is a bargain! 60zl a meal for two including a 0.5l carafe of wine. Excellent service. Central location in town...square - underground basement eating area also fab. Would definitely go again.More
Stopped in for lunch today. Although we were the only customers when we arrived on a snowy December afternoon, we selected a variety of smaller dishes to share and experience Armenian food. Pleasantly surprised by the fast service and wonderful food. Prices seemed fair as...well. Would go again to try some new things. Had the Tolmas, Stuffed Cabbage, Herring, cheese bread, and my favorite was definitely the Nettles Soup, perfect on a cold day!More
