I have heard great things about this restaurant and I was not disappointed at all. The staff are so lovely and the food is made fresh in the restaurant. The menu is both polish and english so it’s great for those who aren’t local. The...interior of the restaurant is also adorable. I would definitely recommend for people to visit and try it for themselves.More
We cannot agree with the fact above, however the food was good and the portions more than fair. It was very nice with the appetizer, which showed a bit of Polish tradition (the pickles were delicious).
We find it really great that most restaurants are...willing to give you a doggy bag for your leftovers (please be aware that you are charged for this).
About the atmosphere of the restaurant, we had higher expectations after reading the restaurant's main web page online, however this was not mirrored when we actually got there.
The one thing that we really appreciated was the girl playing love songs on the saxophone right outside the restaurant.More
I only gave rated it a 3 because the service was good despite the restaurant being very, very busy. Lots of Sunday eating out. I ordered the Russian perogies and was given the choice of boiled or fried. I chose boiled because fried are often...too hard to chew. The stuffing was dry and tasteless. There was some kind or orange crumbly stuff on tgem which I assume was supposed to be caramelized onion. Also completely tasteless. No sour cream to go with them. So incredibly disappointing. I do not recommend this place and will not return.More
The service was very good, the young waitresses engaged well with us and we enjoyed the bowl of pierogi, but a misunderstanding over the tip left a nasty taste,as when we queried where our change was, the waitress assumed we had left her a 25% tip,and then...gave the change in small coin denominations. Not nice!!More
We ended up there for lunch on Easter Sunday only because this was one and only open restaurant we could find but we loved it. The food was good, the vegetables we ordered fresh, the service too although the place was very busy.
I tried to speak Polish and English on several occasions during visit and the waitress was ignorant putting it politely the food myself was OK I Had a salad was overly sweet my partner had chicken with potato also very sweet and my partners mum...had a baked chicken omelette which tasted of baked milk I would not recommend the only speech from waitress was dowidzenia at the end (goodbye) on the upside looks nice inside very traditionalMore
Visited Friday night- group of 5. Waited at least 20 min before we have managed to flag the waitress down. food was average- not worth the very long wait- at least 50 min. At the end the waitress was upset when we asked to pay...the bill on 3 different cards. bizzareMore
