So then, Chapter One! Let's start with that it's a lovely cosy restaurant with only around 12-14 seats, but the food and service is sublime.
We opted for the A la Carte but you can choose the tasting menu.
The waiter introduced us too a...new Spanish wine, that suited all of the dishes, knowledge of wines was of a high level.
So regarding the food, from venison (not deer) tartar, too zander soup, as starters. Then onto breast of duck, and oxtail ravioli as mains onto poached and compressed pears and orange segment with bairblanc ice cream to finish off!!
So the food, wine and service outstanding!!! My only criticism was that the pear desert should be eaten using a spoon and fork!!! But that's really nip picking. If you fancy and enjoy good food this is definitely the place for you.
The overall price for this fantastic service and food is probably around £100-£150 for two with food and drinks. Now that's good!!!
Chapter One, we will be back for more, hopefully next time will be the spring menu.
