For that price you can find much beter in Zielona Gora. The fish was like cooked in the microwave and exstremely dry. On the outside of the restaurant there is a bilboard whith a fresh-looking Coke in a bottle but they serve out of plastic...bottle. I saw coffee Illy and as an amateur of good coffee i ordered one. They served something that was miles away from a good Illy.More

Went here with a WWII Tour group of about 44. The restaurant is in the center of the Olde Towne with the entrance down steps off the square. Our lunch consisted of roast duck breast (which was delicious) with pureed beets and buckwheat (not my...favorite) combined with dark chocolate. This combination a bit strange to my taste but still tasty. The dessert was delicious apple pie with wine ice cream--strange but delicious. With our meal my wife had the Pinot Gris but then changed to the Pinot Noir...the Pinot Gris -not so good. The Pinot Noir significantly better. These were both locally produced wines. I had a Czech Pilsner which was very good. The atmosphere has great ambiance, it is an all brick cellar with loads of charm. We thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely would recommend Winiarnia Bachus when in Zielona Gora-Poland....probably on the way to Zagan and the site of Stlag Loft VIII and WWII German and then Russian prisoner of war camp. Basis for the story of the movie The Great Escape--even if they have the real facts messed up.More

This place is really nice. Great environment with beautiful decor. Food presentation and quality were superb. All created in a very open kitchen where you can see all the prep. Great service. Would recomend.

I gave this place a 4 because the staff is great, very friendly and they try hard to please you. The food is not bad, slightly above average, mind you this was the first place we have tried in this region and maybe it is...the best as compared to others. They have some good local wines worth trying.More

Located in the center of the old town. In warm days it’s nice to sit in the garden outside. In the menu you could find regional dishes which I found tasty. Waiter service could be faster and more smile.

We've been at this restaurant several times over the last 3-4 years. The last times we've been somewhat disappointed. We had a glass of white wine with a lot of cork which we made the waiter know. He just said he was sorry. The two...glasses of red wine were clearly from a bottle which had been open several days. It tasted decidly old. We had them exchanged, which was nice, but it shouldn't happen in a wine restaurant. The fish soup tasted like a meat bouillon with a few pieces of fish in it. The duck was good.More
