All in all, we enjoyed it, but we had to wait over 15 minutes for our drinks, even though most of the tables were still free. We found the food and drinks a bit too expensive for the size of the portions and the slow service. All four of us agreed not to come here again.

It's a scenic walk over the pedestrian bridge from Gorlitz Germany to visit this restaurant in Poland. You will need a reservation for this restaurant as it is quite small. A local friend resommended the pizzas at this restaurant and they were very good. Even with wine and local beers included, the total bill was much less than what we were paying for dinner in Gorlitz. As some reviews mention, the wait staff can be a little snarky, but our waiter was very good overall. I would definitely return to this restaurant when i'm in the area again.

Very nice restaurant, food is very good. The drinks are a bit disappointing, firstly the quantity = soft drinks are so small...but just too expensive. A glass of wine is much too small...beer not poured properly. All in all a good restaurant, but a little too expensive for Poland.

The place near the river is very beautiful but... me and my family never come to this restaurant again. First of all, staff is really very unfriendly, we have to wait long while they accept the offer (there were only few people without us in restaurant). Secondly, the food is not worth the price. Tomatoes soap was very tasty, but that’s all. None of pizza’s was tasty at all. It seems that they were making pizza with some old or really cheap products (cheese taste was so weird that we cannot eat one of the pizza - Capricciosa). Thirdly, we end as we started – waiting too long for cheque. At the end, staff English is poor, women spoke with us only polish.
It’s a nice place out there, but I recommend try another restaurant. Especially if you are with children.

No service if you speak English. Just Polish or German. So I understood that he wanted me to go, so I left. Actually I would like to say, that even silently you can understand the word "menu". so I left because I took it as a hint to go out.

We had lunch here and the food was very tasty. The staff was also very nice and friendly. The pasta and pizza is freshly prepared and worth a recommendation. Pricewise, it is also worthwhile if you pay in zloty or by credit card. All in all a clear recommendation 👌

We were recommended this restaurant by out hotel. The walk to the restaurant was great, sadly once we arrived at the restaurant it went downhill from there.
The staff were unfriendly from the moment we arrived.
The food was very average, the main courses arrived during our starters.
We asked them to bring the main courses later. They had obviously just kept the food on a hot plate as the main courses were dry.
The Pinot Noir was good.
When we left the staff didn’t say thank you or goodbye.
There are a few restaurants on the same street so if you’re in the area you do have options.
I certainly can’t recommend Espresso.

Late lunch. Black ink seafood pasta was OK in taste in taste yet generous with the prawns and garlic. The pizza was rated 6/10 by my husband who said it was similar to Dr Oetker frozen pizza. Primitivo wine and Polish beer were,by contrast, rather good. Very pleasant sitting in the sunshine and watching the river,swans & cygnets. No issues with the service. Price reasonable. Pay in zloty or euro.

Food is quite ok.But service is horrible:waitress shouting on client and lazy to answer in simple questions.I went to ask by my self if they have small peace of lemon and in a bar I got.When waiter saw it,he started to blame on me,that after all day he is very tired. I understand this,but why need to shout from very beginning of our come?Why need to be so brutal with clients if they only asking?

The food was pretty good but everything else was a disaster. Our service was terrible. Our food was wrong, wine was wrong and we got charged extra because they served us the wrong wine. When trying to explain the situation the manager immediately pulled the "we don't speak English card" and wouldn't even look at us. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Alright food but the worst service ever. Very rude staff who treat tourists like idiots. They messed up our orders, and ended up getting the starters and the pizzas at the same time, than they overcharged us and when we explained to them the situation they said we don't speak English. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
