A 20 minute taxi ride from the town centre to a small restaurant on a housing estate. Only 3 large tables seating up to 18 people and you MUST book. Some nights they run courses so the restaurant isn’t open and these guys are very popular. STOL is about a passion for food - Chef certainly delivers passion and fantastic food. His team are talented and enthusiastic from the unflappable ever smiling waitress to the kitchen team who are on show, at the front, using a vast array of ingredients to make your unique meal. Go with someone with similar tastes as the meal is for both/all of you. Chef asks you what you love to eat (excellent English - worked in London), what you are intolerant/allergic to and his team make your meal. No two meals were the same and the variety was good. Two vegetarians with food intolerances were given a feast of halloumi with chocolate and pomegranate; curried fennel, plantain, broccoli and mango; yucca chips with plum/ginger sauce, sweet potato purée with goat cheese and a salad cake with tomato almonds fennel and feta. We loved the spectacle of watching the food being made and loved our feast! Easily the best meal we had in Wroclaw! And one of the most enjoyable meals we have had on all our many travels in the world. The wine list is small but well chosen and they offer a tea menu too if that is your thing.
Most of the customers that evening were Polish but tourists are welcomed. Some were casually dressed, some smart. Probably not the place to overdress. Probably not the place for a romantic meal for two, but perfect if you want truly great food served with passion and a touch of theatre. We will be back!

Visited this restaurant in January 2020 with my wife and daughter.
Was wondering if we are doing the right thing by coming to this place while we are in the Uber as the place was quite isolated. However the food puts us beyond doubt that this is the best place we have eaten during our recent trip to Poland .
Service was very good and after the short chat with us on our liking the team cook out an array of exiting dishes. They all look good and the flavours were amazing. The food was so nice that we decided to have the team add on a pasta dish for us.
Truly enjoyed the experience and taste.
Highly recommended.
Please remember the place is very busy so a booking is essential.

I can understand why you need to book well in advance for this place, because this is really a very cool experience. The restaurant does not have a menu as such, but the chef comes down to your table and asks the guests what they like and dislike. Based on that, he creates different dishes you can share between you. He hit a lot of it right on the spot and we all felt we had some of our favorites while also being able to taste the rest of the dishes at the table. I will be back

An Amazing experience of food, atmosphere, and people with passion. To say that the dishes were spectacular is an understatement. Chef Zuza simply worked up to us told us what she had fresh to cook and asked what we like. Than we got to watch her cook.... focus sea food. So fresh and flavorful with simplicity but complex at the same time. A perfect finish with white chocolate cheesecake. Its like having a personal chef. I could eat here everyday for the rest of my life. Thank you guys!

We visited for my birthday last year and it was a really wonderful experience. There isn’t a menu - one of the chefs comes over and chats to you about your likes and dislikes and then creates a selection of dishes to your taste.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The chefs and other members of the team are so knowledgable and passionate about food and drink. We were also recommended a lovely bottle of wine.
Every dish had such an incredible mixture of flavours & ingredients. We had some hearty Indian dishes, a fresh Japanese salad, as well as an Italian inspired side dish, along with the rich venison and lamb. It was the best meal we had in Wrocław and probably one of the most enjoyable meals we’ve had anywhere in the world. It’s a little way out of town but more than worth the trip - just make sure you book.

Loved the atmosphere, the guests can watch how the chefs prepare the food just in front of the table. Every dish tasted excellent and looked wonderful. Unlike other restaurants there's no menu, you just tell the chef what you like and dislike and he'll surprise you.

Standing in front of the building and then entering is like entering a new world. The restaurant is run by a chef who appears to have only one mission: serve best food matching 100% the guests preferences. no menu, he asks you what you like, ans what you don‘t like. And then the magic happens. this is complemented with a friendly and motivated team, nice drinks and a memorable atmosphere.
if this would be nest to my home I wouldn’t need a kitchen anymore.

We were surprised to find this gem in this location.
The atmosphere was great. Our waitress was fantastic, the food was a total blast.
We recommend that everyone that visits Wroclaw takes a day to enjoy this restaurant. Absolutely amazing!

I had the pleasure of a private dining experience @friends in Wroclaw, with chef Zuza doing the magic in the kitchen. Freely using various styles and gastronomic traditions for their dishes, the focus here is on letting fresh quality products sing their best songs. Overlooking the grand total of seven very fine dishes we were served, I'd say they are pretty darn good at that, while still managing to preserve a cooking-is-fun relaxedness. A totally perfectly prepared beef tenderloin still lingers in the mind.

It's not a typical restaurant. Grzesiek (chef) will have a chat with you trying to understand what do you like, what food makes you happy. It was interesting experience, to have a discussion about food rather than choosing from a menu. Our meal was exquisite, prepared with passion and love!
I was over the moon with the whole experience, I recommend
Stol na Szwedzkiej' for couples visits - it will be an opportunity for you to explore great meals prepared by Grzesiek together.

Fantastic meal! Nice little restaurant located outside Wroclaw city center. Well worth the trip. Chefs cook according to your desires and taste. Group of 9 and everyone enjoyed the meal and the evening.

Grzegorz and his team of chefs and waitor made sure from the moment we came in till we walked out the door again that this was going to be an adventure for our taste buds.
We flew over from Iceland to try this none menu restaurant where magic is made personally for you depending on your likes and dislikes.
200% recommended and we’ll be back to Wroclaw just to be able to experience this food fantasy satisfaction!

Three of us visited the restaurant, two of us had previously been multiple times but this was my first time. I had little knowledge of what to expect but by the time I had finished all my expectations were blown away! From the moment we entered the restaurant, to the moment we left it felt like we dining with the chefs. There were no menus involved, you simply told the chef what you like/ don’t like in food, your favourite meals and flavours and from that they’ll cook you up a surprise. We ended up with a feast of Asian dishes with a few extras to complement everything. Every dish tasted amazing, even things we hadn’t tried before we loved! We will definitely recommend to friends, family and will even return ourselves for more amazing food and hospitality! Thank you all for a great time!

An early afternoon meal in December 2022. A warm welcome on arrival. Seats for my wife and me in front of the kitchen. Sitting with a bottle of wine whilst chef and his brigade of two cooked for other tables whilst chatting away to everyone. And then it was our turn. Chef comes to us with a blank sheet of paper. We talk about our food likes. me, I'm meat. My wife, seafood.
And then we watch as he discusses with his colleagues his plan....
Food delightful. An experience to savour.

I am a native Wrocław citizen, and love for cooking and great food was always present in my family.
I love to discover new restaurants, and new dishes with original taste. So I can say I know local culinary scene very well. With hand on my heart I can say it’s hands down Best Restaurant in all Wrocław. Your visit there for Chef Grzegorz and his Crew will be the highest priority mission to deliver best culinary experience you ever went through. Since they don’t operate on conventional menu, all dishes will be tailored to Your preference, but for sure the crew will add there magic to serve You a delicious surprise, so You will find new original tastes. 😊
Chef will make sure all tastes will be well balanced from appetizers to desert.
P.S – They real know how to provide best quality ingredients, they make wonders with fish and seafood. Their Ceviche is pure poetry.
