The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly - I understand why this restaurant is so popular! I’m glad I returned later in the evening when a table we free.
When in Poland you must try traditional polish food. We were recommended this restaurant by our tour guide. It was the best food and best service we have had since visiting Poland. We had the dumplings and cabbage stew with a large bottle of Prosecco...all for less that £30. Patrick served us and he was so lovely and spoke perfect English. Patrick is an asset to the establishment. The food was incredible, too much for us to finish, but absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend that anyone visiting Poland tries the food here.More
Dimly lit lighting, jazzy music and an overall cozy atmosphere. This is how I like it so my first impression was perfect. I ordered a crayfish soup as a starter and grilled duck legs as a main course and both dishes satisfied me very much!...The prices are very fair and the personnel was very kind and helpful. This place serves some traditional Polish dishes and if I had the opportunity to prolong my stay in Wroclaw I'd probably come back the next day to try another dish. Highly recommended!More
What a lovely little restaurant. We stumbled across it and decided to book a table for later that evening. Great, food, drinks, service and value for money. Traditional Polish food. Highly recommended.
You have not eaten pirogues until dining at this location. Forget the restaurants near the tourist areas. Within walking distance from the center of town, this unpretentious locality will fill the need for real, delicious, homemade polish delicacies. The servers were gracious and attentive.
Had a very disappointing experience at Restaurant Wroclawska this evening. Was recommended by our tour operator. However, my wife and I waited over 40 minutes without any sign of being served. Indeed others who came after us, had their order taken first. We were not...hidden away out of sight and in a room of around 12 people we should have been served much more quickly. After the long wait we decided to walk out and told the senior waiter why. He didn't apologise or try to persuade us to stay. Wouldn't recommend.More
What can I write? I can only sincerely apologize. We have nothing to defend. Sorry again.
We booked a reservation well in advance which was wise as people were turned away every 5 minutes on a busy Friday night. The waitress was superb. Anna was all smiles and very welcoming. A credit to the restaurant. We had a large draught beer...(12 z) and main meals for roughly 50 z each. This included ribs and pork medallions. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Good portions and perfectly seasoned. We had complimentary drinks and a visit from the manager who was happy to hear what a great meal we had. Strongly recommend this traditional Polish restaurant.More
Thank you very much for your opinion. Welcome back.
We tried to get into this restaurant one evening but were too late as they stopped serving at 10 (which is usual), so we went back another night, and we were so glad we did. It did not disappoint. Lots of choice, huge portions, delicious...polish food. We ordered soup to start (onion soup was delicious) and then pork knuckle for main - could easily have been for 2! Food and drink was very reasonable!More

I was not wowed by the food. The żurek was okay but I disliked that they left whole peppercorns in the soup and in my entree. I had the potato pancakes with beef stew as my main. The potato pancakes had good flavor but the...beef was quite tough. Which was surprising considering how long it took them to actually serve me the dish. I did not eat all the beef because I did not enjoy it.More
In Polish cuisine, whole peppercorns are often used. And especially the cuisine of old Wrocław. I am very sorry for the hardness of the beef stew.
Another gem of Wroclaw. Our tour guide recommended this place. He said that they took authentic recipes to a higher level and he was not wrong. Adam of Walkative was very passionate about his city, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was...fabulous. I cannot believe how good the food was and it had such lovely atmosphere. I paired it the recommended beer: Kozel. It was perfect. Word to the wise...go there on an empty stomach.More
About two blocks off the old town square, it looks unassuming but impressed us with its hidden inside space and expansive unique yet traditional menu. Our waiter, Constantin, explained how many of the dishes are recreations of old recipes from the time of the founding...of the city around 1,000 AD--unusual twists on the popular bigos, rosol, zurek. The restaurant also makes its own fruit brandies that are presented in an antique wooden box that expels smoke when opened. I love traditional Polish food--this was an excellent choice.More

I stopped by for a late supper - The potato pancakes with stew. Crispy pancakes and firm stew. I asked for tea to warm me up. The waiter showed creativity and I got the one I wanted, off the menu 😁 + for the sea...buckthorn liqueurMore

A seemingly modest-looking restaurant from the outside served me one of the best options for a traditional Polish dish I've ever had. A place absolutely recommendable!
