Lovely traditional restaurant serving delicious local food. Our server Patrizia was very attentive and informative and took the time to explain the menu and wine. Highly recommended as a casual dining experience in Wroclaw.
This restaurant is a must when you visit Wroclaw. I was welcomed warmly and fortunately my waiter Mikołaj spoke English, which was especially fortunate because he was well informed on the menu.
I had the meat pierogis (the special of the day) and they were...delicious. Not gummy or starchy - excellent texture. Mikołaj suggested the Bigos Staropolski and it was wonderful. Lots of unique flavor - I really enjoyed it. Wish the pieces of meat were a little bigger since I could barely taste them. Ended with the chocolate pierogis which I have never had before and they were a delightful way to finish my meal. Such a great modern approach to traditional Polish food.
The plates were timed perfectly so I didn't feel rushed but didn't feel forgotten. Just an excellent dining experience.More
Lovely food and nice wine. We visited on a Sunday in August, the food was lovely quality and portions a little smaller that we got in other places (which suits me just fine as I don’t eat loads!).
I had the pork loin with dumplings...and fruit sauce which I would recommend. My partner had the duck legs which were also really lovely. For dessert we shared the chocolate pierogi; my only complaint here is they came drizzled with sour cream when we assumed it would be served as a dip like it normally is with savoury pierogi - I really hate sour cream so I had to wipe it off but they were still lovely.
Reasonably priced drinks, a 50cl carafe of wine was 25zl - bargain!More
We showed up on a busy Saturday night in August 2021 without a reservation and enjoyed every minute. The traditional Polish/Silesian food was very tasty, beers and vodka as well. Credit card payment was luckily no problem since we did not have any Polish cash...on us. Waiting staff were very attentive. We had our two-year old son with us. I ordered Schlesisches Himmelreich ("Silesian Heaven") and the waitress had to check whether it would be available (it was!) - a clear indication of fresh cooking, not just thawing and heating. My wife enjoyed her beef goulash with potato pancakes as well. We can only recommend this place.More
Visiting Wroclaw ? Wroclawska should be on your food route. Could be lunch - or dinner.
Excelent herring tartare HEKELE ! Well to be honest as much as love fish - the beef tartare is also super ! and to be recomended.
We had a...little issue with pierogi ... but I am sure it could be improved
Price ... a dinner for two with bottle of wine 200 PLN ... you can not complainMore
We found it almost by accident because we wanted to have polish food. We got self-made cumin liqueur and ordered some other self made spirits after the really good food. You have to try these homemade spirits, they have some really interesting flavors :)
We...hope we can come again this week.More
Traditional Polish cuisine, exquiste flavours, a must-go if you are visiting Wroclaw. Had the pleasure conversing to the owner who treated us with delicious self-made liqueurs (never thought a carum could be used as liqueur ingredient)

Thank you for the visit. Our cumin liqueur is made according to a recipe from the 18th century. But we also have 30 other liqueurs ... Please come back.

We had just arrived at our airbnb and this restaurant was just across the street. We craved a typical meal, so the both of us went for pierogis, and they were delicious, handmade and well cooked. Even better, the waiter’s English was fantastic and he...was very nice to us.More
