About
Giselle is passionate about French cuisine and culture – our interiors and the atmosphere we create appeal to people who appreciate naturalness and freedom. Our seasonal menu is full of truly exceptional dishes – therefore we pride ourselves in carefully selecting ingredients for their quality, flavor, and provenance across all of our menus. The quality of our cuisine and service go hand in hand. We use only natural ingredients directly imported from France, e.g. traditional fruit preserves. In addition, in our wine list, customers will find products from small family vineyards of Languedoc, Bordeaux or Vaculuse. Giselle also serves pastries based on classic French recipes. Our brilliant chefs are never satisfied until their ingredients, seasoning and sauces are in perfect harmony – and our guests are truly satisfied.

Called in whilst wandering round the city for brunch. We managed to get the last available table. Staff were very pleasant and spoke good English. Hubby had omelette I had croque Madame both were so tasty …didn’t want mine to end along with a cup of tea made with loose leaf tea which was great too. Tried to get in the following day but it was full.

Roam for gnomes through the old town to get to this simple yet yummy bistro in the north side of the old town. Yes you will have to walk but that's way you were given feet. The menu is broad for breaky so no shortage of choices. Coffee in two sizes, regular and soup bowl. The food is largely exactly what you want at the price you feel it's worth to pay. Only regret was the avocado which was hard and grey (hint to staff, say that upfront .. i would have ordered differently!). But the rest was nice, cheap, fresh and i left very full. Locals love this place so if you want to be where townies eat, and townies generally are in the know, then you have arrived at the right spot. Wroclaw is a delight to walk around so lace up your sneaks and savor the city and Giselle's.

Amazing breakfast location! My partner and I visited Wroclaw for 3 nights and had our breakfast here twice (would probably have been thrice, but in the first morning all the tables were occupied). We had the Parisian breakfast, which I would gladly recommend to whoever wants to start their morning right with a delicious breakfast. Tea lovers can pick between the Kusmi tea options which all seem to be great. I've seen that this place also offers lunch, which I bet is also amazing.

Having an appointment at 11:00 a.m. with the company OCTACOM represented by Alicia Viant, I had agreed to meet at Café Giselle for this meeting. Being early, I decided to go and have a chocolate. So I asked for a chocolate and I saw that the person, the waiter, was preparing me a hot milk flavored with half a teaspoon of a powder that came out of a glass jar. I didn't ask for a chocolate flavored drink but a chocolate flavor. If that's what we're serving, I don't want it. I ordered a chocolate and I paid €4.50 for a chocolate, not a chocolate flavored drink. So I didn't want it and I went to get it elsewhere, there they serve real chocolate. What follows is that the server also allows himself to leave a comment on my establishment which is a BEE HIVE, to vent his delusions. Hire staff who are up to the task otherwise you will run to your losses. The comment on Rucher de la Pirraz written by Quentin Brohan will be the subject of a defamation complaint.

Went there for breakfast. First thing that I saw was many people sitting next to each other despite COVID regulations. But anyway I went in, waited for a table a moment and ordered coffee + scrumbled eggs. Coffee came first and it tasted nice, but for the rest of breakfast I had to wait for about 15 minutes, so before it was served my coffee was already half-empty and mearly warm. Scrambled eggs were not perfect, but that's just my opinion - everyone likes it different. The problem was a mix of vegetables the eggs came with. The vegetables were definitely too salty. Like the amount of salt was probably twice a daily recommended dose for an adult and made all meal taste like salt alone. But the interior is really neat, cosy and pretty, if one finds that important. Maybe if there were less people the meal would be better? I don't know. What I know is that 15 minutes walk away is a breakfast place way better than Giselle.

It is a pity that apart from the name of the place, croissants, it is difficult to experience French meals there. For example, croque monsieur, unfortunately, is far from the original and so easy to prepare. The cruiser was good but in France it would have been average. It was terribly hot inside. The air conditioning didn't work and there were no fans. It won't be our favorite spot. Too bad that apart from the name of the place, the croissants, it is difficult to taste French cuisine there. My friend and I ate at Giselle. Very good food and very very good coffee. Place was easy to find and was busy! Luckily we found a table in 10 minutes. If you are visiting on weekends, expect 5 to 15 minutes of wait Must try the pancakes! Delicious!

It is hard to find good restaurants with gluten free options but Giselle have done it right. I have never eaten such a wonderful banana-almond omelet. You can also sit outside the restaurant - it has its tables across the street but they are quite easy to miss.

Turned up without booking on a Saturday morning and we were lucky enough to find a table. We were just in time because a number of parties that came after us, were turned away. The place could be twice the size and you would still have to rely on luck, such is its popularity but also, people take their time and often seem to pay return visits to the counter for more coffee. We ordered a Pain Perdu for each of our party. This was queried by the server and we soon learned why. The portions were large, the presentation was excellent and everything was fresh and so tasty. The coffee was a great mellow blend and a refill was definitely required. All in all, a great experience and I can see this will become a regular haunt.

I love to eat in wroclaw but it can be hard to find food that's not all very processed. We go to Giselle every morning because we are guaranteed good food with a friendly face. They also have great teas and coffee. I highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and a tasty breakfast on our way to train station. This left a very good taste after our weekend in Wrocław. It's a small, calm place, with quite a few people so we had to wait a bit for our order, but it was worth it.

Went here on a Sunday morning when most things are closed in the city centre with my daughter. I have to say it was very busy from 10 so we were very lucky to get a seat. Food and the staff were very good. I had the brioche and eggs. Was v v tasty. Daughter had the pancakes. Again v tasty. Best breakfast I’ve had in wroclaw.
