I popped in here every evening during my stay nearby just to have a glass of wine and read my book. I ate here one night but so much stuff was not available from the menu that there was very little choice. Pancakes with mushroom sauce was ok, same as everywhere else, maybe a bit soggy. The cake on another evening was really lovely. I liked the atmosphere here and the staff were nice but they did try to get away with pouring a very short glass of Prosecco on more than one occasion. One thing really noticeable was the bar counter where the staff were working from, it’s so clustered that there’s no free space to work from so it could do with a really good tidy and declutter and tidy up.

Best times for this place are over. Average food, proper but sad service. Perhaps they started to save energy because our food was far from warm. Hope this was only a case of an unfortunate day.

Loved the food here. Lots of choice for veggies and more Israeli/jewish/polish. Had a mezze and then potato pancakes with goulash and spinach and camembert.Flavours were excellent and sensible pricing. Lots of other dishes we would like to try. Definitely will return.

The taste and quality of meals is the main reason I will come back to "Sarah" if I am in Wroclaw again! The restaurant is located right in front of the synagogue entrance, we were so happy to finally find a cozy warm place to have lunch. The Israeli falafel we ordered was excellent. The spiced veggies-beef soup was so comforting and cooked perfectly. The restaurant staff was very attentive and polite. And chicken Shawerma .. OMG it was unbelivably tasty! And chicken Shawerma .. Made of aromatic tender chicken with crispy skin on the best couscous tabbouleh I've ever tasted, served with my favourite baked sweet potatoes... I really love their menu, everything is worth to try, plus a good variety of drinks. Btw, I really love their "Sarah" tea, so tasty! Really, it was one of the best meals I've ever had abroad.

We loved the decor and it had the vibe of a 'step back in time'which we love. The young waitress was very friendly and efficient. The pumpkin soup was amazing (c/w roasted pumpkin seeds). Unfortunately the mains were not just as 'on point'. My husband had the chicken pieces but found them dry. My latke dish was beautiful, but unfortunately lacked ...something.. I had a similar dish at another restaurant, which was accompanied with salad, beetroot, rice etc. I would return but would maybe try something different from the menu.

Just to the right of the entrance to the courtyard through which you reach the historic White Stork Synagogue and its fascinating exhibits, you will find this unpretentious, but thoroughly enjoyable restaurant. We had the good fortune of being there for lunch on a pleasantly warm afternoon, so we ate in the courtyard under awnings, however the interior dining area is quite attractive, homey and comfortable as well. The menu combines traditional Jewish and Polish cuisines (Cymes, Czylent, Latkes, Herring, Kreplach) with some Middle-Eastern flourishes (Hummus, Falafel) and modern bistro standards (Wings, Beet and Goat Cheese Salads). We started with a very fine hummus and pita – smooth, a little garlicky, and topped with some refreshing salad and, surprisingly, a couple of sundried tomatoes. For our mains, we went in two different directions. My wife’s grilled chicken and avocado salad, while pretty standard, was just what she wanted and was just right. Chunks of tomato and avocado accompanied the moist chicken on a bed of greens with cashew nuts and a delightful dressing. Although I usually eat lighter at lunch, I could not resist the prospect of Lamb Cymes and it did not disappoint. The rich stew combines cubes of lamb (a little tough, but flavorful) with carrots, raisins, and sauerkraut into a wonderful medley of tastes and scents. I mopped up every last drop of the fragrant sauce with the accompanying pita. The delightful Książęce Pilsner perfectly complemented our meal and our server was prompt, friendly, and efficient. A perfect lunch.

As someone else mentions in their review, a bit like sitting in your quirky aunt's front room - and none the worse for that. Eclectic decor, friendly service, good food.

Wanted to try something different and off the beaten track so thought we'd give a Jewish restaurant a go. When we arrived we walked through a quiet restaurant and to our surprise came out into a courtyard that was absolutely buzzing with life. We both ordered soups which were delicious and then we had a spicy chicken dish and an offal dish of goose stomachs with barley and a gherkin salad. They were both amazing. Portion sizes were perfect and all for less than £30 with drinks. If you're in Wrocław then this should be on top of your list of places to try.

Located in the old Jewish quarters, this restaurant offers delicious Jewish cuisine. We ordered their Ezekiel’s chicken, Fish of Marako Jews and Beetroot soup and they were delicious to our satisfaction. Wine list is decent, full marks for effort to preserve the Jewish heritage. Ambience is relaxing 😊
