Affordable and tasty

Here you can taste typical Polish dishes like zureç, noodles or kielbasa, all quite tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients. The place is small and cosy and the service is nice, they do everything to explain you what the dishes contain and give you also recommendations. Excellent choice in the... read more

When we visit Wroclaw, we eat at chatka. It's a small and lovely restaurant with perfect food for really perfect prices. The service is friendly.

I liked the interior of this place so I went in to try some Polish food and beer. But I was quite disappointed by what I get. Barszcz tasted more like chemical flavouring with beetroot and pierożki were only oily, some pieces were even empty. Light beer Tyskie was ok. Stuff was helpful, but the food damaged all my feelings.

We are spending 1 month in Poland and are staying in the old Center so we went to Chatka because it was close and highly recommended to us by polish friends. I ordered pork knuckles (recommended as specialty) and my fiance had pork chopstick. We ended up with the knuckles and schnitzel instead but that was okay in the end.... More

We were crossing the city and searching for a place to finally try zurek and by accident we found this pub. It is a small restaurant, very nice intereur, very beautiful waitresses and delicious polish food. Don't count you can eat soup and main food as the portions are huge! Definitely our recommendation.

This is a small place with local dish of excellent quality and great prices. Depending on the time it may be difficult to get a table but definately worth waiting.. One of my favorite places to eat in Wroclaw. Very good size of portions, often a little bit too much, Besides tasty and gentle serving size the price is on... More

We found this gem by acciodent while walking towards the riverbank. The prices are lower than most of the restaurants in the old town, but the food is reeeaaally good! Be careful if you don't like beets though, as they have some serious addiction to I. :) Only reason for 4* is that at the time of our visit the... More

Location ok, less than 50% of the menue available, everything full of fat and cheese. Summarised: ok if every restaurant is full or if you are drunken, but choose another one if you want to enjoy polish food.
