Just go! We went quite late according to Polish, around 21h. They were kind and honest since the very beginning. They told us that they don't accept crédit card (that's the only Con) and that the Pierogi and Fish Soup (both Polish specialities) were sold out. We stay and tried other Polish specialities, the service was really kind and quick.... More

Helpful and friendly staff. I liked interior: luxurious armchairs for ladies, cosy benches for gentlemen. Food was good and beer was top quality.

We had a booking here through a family friend and they insisted we try this place. When you walk in it's like a medieval scene and the place is worth a look around after you've ordered your food. The restaurant was about a 3rd full and we got service quickly. The waiters were friendly and the menu's covered multiple languages.... More

We went there today as really wanted to experience eating in the oldest restaurant in Europe. First thing we've noticed after walking in was a waiter setting up wine glasses on what it seemed was a pre-booked table. We walked further down, smiled and said hello to the front table waitress and asked for table for two. Without any politeness... More

A must visit for at least a beer or two. Incredible sense of history. Sure, it attracts tourists and the food is supposed to be mediocre but you really must pop in for one.

Is a place that you must visit, it suppose to be the oldest "bar" in europe as they produced and drank beer there since the 1200s, beautiful place with lots of history, but the menu...worst than average, they are always missing something in the menu and for being "traditional" polish food, you can find better food in many places. Still,... More

rubbish, rubbish, rubbish. TOURIST TRAP. Don't go there. Hot food cool, cold drinks warm, cold food warm, portions small, prices high.

While Poland is undergoing a culinary revolution (having lived here for the past 8 years), there still remain a bastion of dinosaur restaurants that survive on legacy and possibly location alone for business. One prime example is Piwnica Swidnicka. I've been here thrice, and only when friends from abroad literally said they heard about the place and just had to... More

Git stuck in dark bar area after confusing and fairly rude encounter with initial waitress. Good was completely average but was served on cold side which didn't help. Service was pretty poor and it was fairly expensive for what was a disappointing experience overall. Would suggest going in for a beer to see the building etc but I would recommend... More

This restaurant is located in the center of the main square and main tourist attraction of Wroclaw. Looks very interesting and welcoming from outside however when you decide to eat there it is a big disapointment. Very bad quality of food and service. You can find some negative reviews of this restaurant on other travel directories. I think this shall be presented here as a warning for all foreign tourists to avoid this place. Great location and good outlook seems to be a trap which can destroy your holidays in such beautiful place as Wroclaw.
