Place is nicely located. We came (8 persons) at 20.00. The drinks were served as late as 20.30, no 'waiting food on the house'. Surprisingly the palce wasn't busy at all (Wednesday afternoon), so no excuse for such a long wait. The starters were only served at 21.10, and the seconds 21:45. Pathetic. We were dying of hunger. And, in... More

This restaurant is under the town hall and we were told it was the oldest and possibly most expensive place to eat. We still went and it was a delight, You feel like you are in a baronial hall. Many tables were reserved but a kind waiter found us a table and offered us the menu. There are many regional... More

Awful, awful service! We phoned in advance to book a table. We arrived and no one had any re-collection of the table being booked. Instead, the staff just told us to sit anywhere. They were all very rude and miserable! Avoid eating here! There are so many better places to go! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Based in the town square and attractively decorated similar to beer houses in Germany. The food did not live up to expectations and tips automatically added to the Bill - also don't take Credit Cards

the food is average and expensive however this is a place you eat at for the setting and atmosphere - its an historic "centuries old" restaurant and its location in cellars off the Rynek is excellent. However avoid busy times as service even when only a few people is below average, compared to high Polish prices. Go for the experience... More

We came here hoping for traditional Polish cuisine. The food was pre prepared and warmed up rather than cooked fresh. The staff were bored and did not smile or engage with the customers. In all, very poor.

Just go! We went quite late according to Polish, around 21h. They were kind and honest since the very beginning. They told us that they don't accept crédit card (that's the only Con) and that the Pierogi and Fish Soup (both Polish specialities) were sold out. We stay and tried other Polish specialities, the service was really kind and quick.... More

Helpful and friendly staff. I liked interior: luxurious armchairs for ladies, cosy benches for gentlemen. Food was good and beer was top quality.

We had a booking here through a family friend and they insisted we try this place. When you walk in it's like a medieval scene and the place is worth a look around after you've ordered your food. The restaurant was about a 3rd full and we got service quickly. The waiters were friendly and the menu's covered multiple languages.... More

This restaurant is located in the center of the main square and main tourist attraction of Wroclaw. Looks very interesting and welcoming from outside however when you decide to eat there it is a big disapointment. Very bad quality of food and service. You can find some negative reviews of this restaurant on other travel directories. I think this shall be presented here as a warning for all foreign tourists to avoid this place. Great location and good outlook seems to be a trap which can destroy your holidays in such beautiful place as Wroclaw.
