Visited on a few occasions during my 4 day visit to Wroclaw. Highly recommend this place! Food is fresh, tasty and filling. Prices are ridiculously low. Great for breakfast before a busy day of sightseeing. Lunchtimes are busiest, often a queue out the door.

Had a quick lunch at this popular milk bar not far from Wroclaw's Town Square. You can pick as much or as little as you want and pay for your meal by weight. You can't go wrong with the chicken, pork, and beef dishes, and...make sure you grab some red cabbage. The pork ribs stood out, and the fried cutlets (chicken and pork) were excellent. It was nice to be able to choose how much potato I wanted with my meal - it's impossible to finish a full serving of potato in Poland!More

It's super cheap, a full meal with a drink (kompot) and a side salad would cost you whooping 10pln! This is not a restaurant! This is an old style milk bar, it's clean and all kind of people come here to eat, mostly locals who...don't have time to cook. Make sure you get here for early lunch as they run out of the good stuff early. If they run out you most likely would have to wait till the next day to get it. Also, don't expect a presentation and all of that restaurant stuff. It's a self-service kind of school canteen place.More

Local milk bar. We passed by this place quite a few times, there is ALWAYS a queue – we eventually realized we were never going to find a “quiet” time so we joined the queue and waited. There’s a large board with a lot of...items on it and a price. If they run out of anything, they remove the price so you know it’s no longer available. Your order and pay at the till, and at the counter they give you everything you asked for. Ordering is not so easy for non-Polish speakers – you need some knowledge of Polish to order (or google translate and a lot of patience, or a friend, or a personable bystander…). We tried quite a few things, which ranged from bad to surprisingly good. Prices are very, very cheap – mains are mostly 10zl or under, sides and salads 1-2 zl in most cases. The beef goulash was very good, the leek soup good, the mushroom soup bad, the potato dumplings pretty bad, tomato salad old, broccoli salad and coleslaw pretty good. Salad portions were miniscule, other portions OK.More

We had to stand in a queue to buy the food (it doesn't normally happen in an eatery) but what a meal we had:) Traditional Polish food, tasty, big portions ... and we paid next to nothing. It's not a restaurant, more like a 'milk...bar', but a true cheap eat and quite tasty too.More

In Poland we call these type of diners 'Bar Mleczny' which in direct translation means 'Milk Bar' (I am not sure where this name came from). These places are very popular amongst students and ordinary people who just want to have 'home cooked style dinner'...for a low price. I have been to few places like that but Mis is exceptional! Mis is super cheap and genuine, the food is delicious and fresh, there is always very long queue of people and that's always best indicator for good food. You won't find menu card in English language but everything is so delicious there so I don't think it's needed! If you're a backpacker or a proper traveler who loves experiencing the food and culture of the country, this place is definitely for you!More
