The visit last Friday 6th Aug 2021. had been waiting for over 50 minutes for the food - two pasta. No-one informed us that it will take so long. The lady who seated us had no even small empathy and smile (and I observed, not...only to us but to every customer). We were with 1,8 year old kid. He really was bored sitting in one place. Nobody said any apology for this - I had to ask by myself what is going on with our food - I was ready to leave without even paying for the water. We did not have any snacks or whatever due to this long waiting time. I know that is is not Italian restaurant but serving such pasta this is the mood of it - maybe some fresh handmade bread, olive oil or grissing would be at least polite. I had to bring olive oil, pepper, salt by myself. No one even came to apologise or offer anything to make up for the long waiting time. None of the waitresses even came to tell us when we would receive our food - we did not feel that anyone cared about treating us exceptionally - which I think is the point of a restaurant to which I dragged my family for a 30 min walk - because I had read about good pasta in Wroclaw. I don't run restaurant but I have visited a lot of them. I explore places through food. I want to feel special in special places because I don't go to a chain restaurant. You have to remember that every client is special, it's their first time with us or maybe it's their special day. As soon as we received the food we ate in 5 min and left the place, it was all over. You have to remember that every client is special, it's their first time with us or maybe it's their special day. Eventually the pasta arrived - Frutti di mare - portion not to big, shripms were disgusting. The only ravioli tried to defend this bad situation. As soon as we received food we ate in 5 min and left that place as soon as possible with only one thought. Never again - such a restaurant, such a service with no respect for the customer. I will remember mainly the waitresses who looked at me with pity when I ran after my son because he could not sit in one place for so long. Remember one thing - one unsatisfied customer means 10 unsatisfied customers. I honestly do not recommend it.More

Although there was about 15 minutes queue, it was worth to wait. Excellent tortellini as well as coffee :)

I went there with my family. However for me it is not good enough. We have ordered like few different dishes and none of them were even good. I was looking around tying to understand phenomenon of this restaurant, observing ppl. What is so amazing...here?? Why they are standing in so long queue? We are traveling a lot, testing different cuisine, this has nothing common with the good Italian taste. Maybe it was,...... few month ago where it was different Chef, but not now. Actually products are good and seems that someone who is "cooking" just trying to make something "special" without any result. Some family near us eat almost nothing, so at least we were not the only ones. Beside the food, place is nice and the service is goodMore

I don't know where to start... this restaurant is absolutely amazing. We came to Wroclaw for a really short trip, just three days, two of which we decided to have dinner at Ragu because the food there is just so amazing. We needed to wait...a little bit to be seated, which is understandable as the food is so good here. We tried a wide range of dishes - appetizers like mortadella with pistachio nuts, burrata, Caprese, as well as dishes from classics like aglio e olio, to more avant-garde ones like ravioli with sweet potato & carrot sauce. Trust me, these guys know what they are doing. Moreover, we were served excellent wine, marvelous desserts, and lovely limoncello at the end. I am in love with this restaurant and I could come to Wroclaw JUST TO EAT HERE! Also, the staff is very friendly, I admire them for their ability to be so efficient, quick, and friendly when there are so many guests to serve. I would like to thank the whole team of Ragu for such two lovely dinner dates with my husband! We will come back for sure!More

Food didn't at all met our expectations (after reading all the good reviews). Rigatoni with tomato-based sauce was too spicy for our son, although my wife mentioned in Polish that it was for a kid. We didn't notice at first and thought the pasta was...hot and that's why he kept drinking and asking for more lemonade. The reception lady was attentive, which was good. We found quickly a table and didn't have to wait long. Our waitress was unfortunately not. She didn't care to give us a notice on dishes of the day and didn't care to ask whether everything was okay and how the food was. We paid and still sat there to finish our drinks. She came and took the payment directly the minute we placed it on the table. We are pasta lovers. We have been often in Italy. This is not a place with good pasta.More

Saw great reviews on TripAdvisor, and we wanted to go for Italian food. So we arrived here. People were waiting outside, so it had to be good. The only thing about this I don’t get is to have to wait outside. Inside was a bar,...why not wait there? Costs the same, and your guests wouldn’t be freezing! (The heater outside was off...) The food was very nice though. The personnel all spoke English and remembered we weren’t Polish. Amounts were super: full plates! Lots of choice. The daily menu, written on a wall, was Polish, so we couldn’t understand. Would English be more friendly for tourists? Just an idea. We enjoyed this restaurant and do recommend it! But it would be nice if they took our advice :)More

Today four of us went to Ragu for dinner after seeing all the positive reviews and some recommendations from friends. Our enthusiasm was slowly dying out from the first interaction with the waitress. Riesling was not available even though it was listed on the menu...and the Primitivo that we got instead, was served at warm, room temperature. When we asked the waitress what soup was served today, she replied plainly pomidorowa (tomato soup). Hmm... at an authentic Italian place I would expect the waitress to at least to explain the flavors of the soup. For example garlic, basil, fresh tomatoes, Parmesan, cream, etc. Her reply did not spark any interest in any of us to order the soup. The most disappointing was the wait time for our meal. It was a solid 45 minutes and the waitress didn’t come back even once, to check on us or to update us on the time of our food arrival. As expected from the lack of her professionalism from the very beginning, she did not apologize nor did she explain the long wait time. The food was just ok. Gnocchi was delicious, rigatoni was good without any “wow” effect, and tortelli was less than mediocre. It was stuffed with pretty plain ricotta cheese and served on a bed of spinach with not much flavor. The description of the dish was very confusing and suggesting that the torteli was supposed to be stuffed with ricotta and spinach. Maybe the chef should revise the description on the menu. The ambience of the restaurant has a lot to ask for. The proximity of the tables is such, that your elbow touches the elbow of the person sitting at the next table. Also, one of the small tables was located under the wall hook for coats and right next to the bathroom door. We were sitting one table over and even we could see the inside of the bathroom anytime a guest was walking in or out of it. Couple less tables would improve the ambiance and coziness and increase clients’ satisfaction.More

I have already tried this place a couple of times and i just find the pasta dishes dry. They taste ok but by the time you eat a full portion you find your self wanting some kind of sauce with it. The deserts are really...great. Staff overall good. Unfortunately, not my cup of tea. I will not be returning anytime soon as there are some really great Italian restaurants in Wroclaw. Sorry Ragu.More

l saw this restaurant on tripadvisor and was ranked very high so it was on our must go list. The whole meal was fantastic, the pastas were so Aldente, the best l've ever had. l had the seafood spaghetti and my daughter had the Ragu...but the seafood one was far better than the Ragu. We enjoyed it so much that we went again on another day, this time was for lunch but disappointly they don't serve seafood at lunch time. lt was still very good with what we had so we highly recommend this place, it's a bit of a walk from the centre but was well worth itMore

I had the vongole and aglio olio spaghetti. Both were excellent and flavourful. The home made pasta had great texture and eggy flavour. Great price for food of this quality.
