I was in the mood for pierogi's after being in the States for a week or so, so we stopped in at Pierogowo to satisfy a craving. We ordered the tomato-macaroni soup, the pierogi's with kielbasa, potato and horseradish, and the pork cutlet. We also...ordered two beers.
The soup was good, and the pork cutlet was cooked well and tasty, but the pierogi just needed some more flavor. Considering there was kielbasa inside, I thought they would have lots of flavor, but they did disappoint a bit.
We waited quite some time for our beers, after we had already had our food. My husband had to go to the counter as ask for them, the waitress apologized and said she had forgotten them.
One big surprise for us is that they said they didn't take credit cards. I notice on the write-up here it does say they take Visa, but they told us no, so I'm glad we had some cash on us, because we didn't notice a sign anywhere (maybe there was and we missed it, I'm not sure).More
I came with a family to eat a dinner. After 15 minutes waiting for a waiter I asked by myself a waiter to come to us. After next 20 minutes noone came. So now my mother asked the waiter to come, again withouth a possitive...response. After next 15 minutes we left.More
Pierogi are well above the average, service is fast. Note 1) they have two locations. The new, larger one is @ 1 Piastowska st.
2) portions contain only 8 pieces. Order 1.5-2 portions. Still it is a good value for the money.
Three of us (2 adults and 1 kid) visited Pierogowo by car. The place offer free parking spaces for clients.
We ordered pierogi with blueberries, Russian and Goralskie Pierogi. One portion is 8 dumplings (cost around 15 zloties) which was fine for me but not...for hubby who complained of being hungry.
I tried blueberry and Russian pierogi and I think they were class.More
Nice, cosy place. Dumplings are quite good but portions are too small for the price. Nice, soft dough with fair amount of filling. Unfortunately the service was really poor. Our dishes came out before our drinks and we had to wait for the cutlery quite...a while as well. When we placed an order we asked for fried dumplings- which came out just boiled. We told that our waiter and he wasn’t really bothered about it- he just admitted he made a mistake and that’s all. Think you should work on it. Hopefully in the future we may have a better experience.More
So we went to Karpacz from our journey in Czech Republic. I google it, found some reviews. We ordered pierogi mix. When i ate last one with spinach, i found Colorado potato beetle... It was really terrible. And when i showed it to waitress, she...said nothing, just took the plate ant she went away. After twenty minutes of waiting, we asked bill. So we have to pay full price and there was no "sorry". Normally in Europe the first thing is "sorry", and second - discount to bill or 0 price...More

Hi, That's a good question. I didn't see an option for that on the menu. Maybe if you are planning to visit and you call in advance you may be able to work something out. I got the feeling that the pierogi were remade and just heated with toppings when ordered.
