IT was the only restaurant between Bolesławiec and Rokitki where we stayed. I have ordered „żurek w chlebku” and it was terrible the worst than this i have tried only once in my life. My wodę ordered „krokiety z barszczem”. The beetroot soup was so...salty that it was unbearable to eat. It was like licking the wall in Wieliczka salt mine. The waiters were angry that we have came. They mixed our drinks and were pissed that i have aksed to bring us correct ones. Stay awatMore

Good place to grab a quick dinner since it is en route to Wroclaw. Highly recommended by family so ended up visiting for the very first time last week. Really like how this old building has been transformed to what I imagine the old Gospoda...used to look like or close to it. The staff was nice and pleasant. Really like the fact that the original pottery is used in this place, not only does the restaurant support local business but it also speaks volumes of the region's history. The traditional Polish tripe soup was delicious and very well made, the steak dinner was good with it's variety of cabbage salads. Encouraged, we went back this week and were sadly disappointed with the order of Tatar dish. We each ordered a serving (34PL) and although it was nicely decorated we felt cheated as the original Tatar is a raw tenderloin beef filet specifically chopped and seasoned. What we were served instead was a mixture of mostly ground pork with condiments on the side. Customers that enjoy trying unusual yet original dishes will not have an opportunity to do so here.More

Every time we go to Boleslawiec we eat here! It is only a short drive outside of town and worth the time. The restaurant has a very interesting, rustic decor and the the staff is friendly and speaks pretty good English. The price can’t be...beat, around 50-70 polish zolloty for two beers, entrees, and desert! Highly recommend for either lunch or dinner!More

I guess we were not so lucky when we arrived on one Sunday afternoon. The place was overcrowded. There was nobody to direct us to empty table. After 10 min. searching we found a table ...not so clean. Several times we called waitresses until someone...picked our order. Then we had to wait for another 30 minutes until our food was served. However ...instead of fish we got.... Pork cutlet and favorite dish "goose leg" was cold ... I guess directly taken from refrigerator and put on our plate!!! This place was recommended to us by friends, however I do not think after our bad experience they will recommend it anymore. And I do not think we will go there again. Sorry …folks.More

Typical Polish restaurant. Very warm stuff. Food is good. "Pierogi" was so impossibly big. All dishes portion are to big. Anyway - nice place.

After you've spent all your money on pottery, fear not because you can have a full-course meal here with excellent service, great food, and fast service. It's busy, though, so dine early to ensure seating. No need to make reservations. Family friendly! There's the backyard...if you're so inclined for the outdoors. It's actually nice because it's quiet. You would not know it by the jolly in the restaurant, so it's nice if you want quiet. Also, GREAT BEER!More

We only spent about $12 for two people and there was SO MUCH FOOD! Out of town, in the country and it is worth the drive. There is even a small playground outside for children. They have menus in English, but the staff didn't speak...much English. I will definitely eat here again the next time I go back!More

Great ambiance. Nice staff. Great food. Clean and cool even when it is 100 degrees out. Be sure to eat the salads - the red cabbage was yummy while the cucumber was my daughter's favorite.
