The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of a building located in the center of an “enchanted” village. The whole area gives you the feeling of being in a story book town. The mountains nearby, the creek/river running through town, music filling the air, seeing the horse drawn wagons and hearing the horse’s hooves hitting the pavement all contribute to the elation. Visiting Zakapone was one of the highlights during our visit to Poland. After spending a full day previously, we came back into town the next morning, specifically to have a meal at STRH. We were celebrating our (former exchange) daughter birthday - she chose this restaurant and we agreed to her choice. The view from our table was amazing but, the best part of the whole experience was the meal. Our host did an awesome job with the food recommendations and his attentiveness. Everything was exceptional.

One of the best café on Krupówki St and in Zakopane in general.
Located on the 4th floor with open air terrace, has amazing mountain view.
Place is well, modern designed, with a lot of wood, I would say Scandinavian style with a little local touch.
Lots of magazines, books and toys for children(family friendly)plus art works and well designed objects.
Food is reasonably priced, it has a lot of healthy option, as well as veg and gluten free but cuisine is not local.
Amazing desserts(but again rather international than local).
Coffee is a bargain- it’s just 10 PLN for espresso when in other(not so fancy) places on Krupówki is 11-13.
On of the best place for coffee or breakfast in Zakopane! Good for a long chill as well. Come back every time I’m in Zakopane.
Staff could be more smiling but this is general problem across Polish bars and restaurants. Anyway probably one day the will discover the correlation between smiling and tips :)

This cafe is located in Zakopane centre. The staff was really friendly, spoke english. Cafe wasn't crowded,interior is simple and cosy. Our group was pretty large-seven people and all of them enjoyed delicious meals. Tomato soup was fantastic, pasta with beef was great and salad with turkey was amazing too. Prices aren't high( ~7€ for salad, 9€ for pasta) Highly recommend getting a homemade lemonade, it was super refreshing after hot day in mountains.

A lovely setting on a top floor allows for great views of the mountains, it’s well furnished and great for a photo for your social media pages. The majority of the clientele were “hipsters” and the style of venue clearly suits them, they must also have a lot more time on their hands. It was so more style over substance.
Service was very poor, the staff seemed confused and always unsure of who was supposed to be serving us. From overhearing other tables this seemed to be the norm - clearly lacking in management and direction.
There were a fair few items unavailable so as on a tight schedule we opted for soups and starters, we waited, and waited and waited till eventually explained we would only pay for our drinks and what we had received and leave - this seemed to create further confusion! Nevertheless less I hope the owners see this review and correct the easy wins and improve service and food availability as it could be excellent venue.

Super delicious breakfast, croque madame, freshly squeezed o juice and dark chocolate with sweet cream. For dessert I had winter cream brulee with mandarins and brandy.
Really recommended and a fast friendly service. Service has spoken Polish and English.

I love their take on oatmeal, and my other half always craves the classic/creative egg dishes.
However, this time around I was super bummed that the "white hot chocolate pudding with cherry" was not at all like I recall from two years back. I did ask the waiter about it, however he did not know what it tasted like before.
So I will not be returning for the hot chocolate, but still one of the best and cozy places in Zakopane.
PS: The menus should be taken care of. They are very sticky and falling apart.

A really pleasant place, exactly the kind of cafes I like. Not overdecorated, clean style, combination of wood, glass and modern stylish furniture. It can add also a nice view of the Krupowki street and the local stream. We had only cakes, smoothie and Latte Machiato but they offer also some lunch dishes. I prefer raw and vegan cakes and at least in this cafe you can enjoy one vegan cake🙂 It was delicious made with chockolate mousse and peanut base. They offer also plant milk alternatives to have your coffe with. However, I would definitely urge for more (at least) vegan cakes to choose from.

This place is always PACKED with people. The location is amazing since it is very central, and the view is breathtaking on a cloudfree day. We went there for breakfast twice and were lucky to get great seats due to friendly personel. All generations come there, because it has soo much charisma.
Their oatmeal is absolutely wonderful. Also, you must try their white chocolate with raspberry and their hot chocolate with marshmallows which will warm you up. The standard is very high for an affordable cost. We will definitely be back.

We have visited this place in the begging of the August. The menu do not have many positions and some positions are not available in some time, for example dinners are available from 1:00 PM. The prices are on the medium level and our order was ready in 10 minutes. Coffee was also good, also there are good view on the mountains, if you have choose table on the terrace. For medium order you will spent for about 10$/per person.
We have ordered here shakshuka, coffee and STRH big breakfast.

Brilliant cafe, sat outside in the sun and it was great. Menu had loads of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as meat. Food was incredible we had risotto, beef vodka pasta and a burger, all great and the drinks and cakes were lovely too. Also seemed a lot quieter than the surrounding areas which was very welcome. Staff were lovely too

Really enjoyed STRH every time I've been there. The coffee is good, service is awesome with waiters that have a good sense of humour. Scrambled eggs were very tasty, as was their apple pie in particular! This place has an awesome view over Krupówki and on their outside area you can see really nice mountains covered in snow during winter! Always back here every time I'm in Zakopane.

We had a classic sit down in the evening, ordered coffee and cake. No menu, had to move to the cake counter to select something. Same story with payment, had to present myself at the cashier to settle the bill. Took a bit of the pleasure out of the whole thing. Weird bathroom service, one has to ask for a pincode to use the facilities (outside in the corridor). Tasty cake, even if overly sweet, reasonable coffee.

I was struggling by the third day, eating only, bread soup and pierogi, although delicious, a little heavy.
This Bistro is my vibe, so glad we dropped by. Attentive, friendly staff, good coffee and a large menu. You pay more but the quality is there.
Will be back next time I visit for sure!

I went there as have seen excellent reviews. Disappointing. Not very different from other places at Krupówki St, which is not a compliment. Expensive. To be fair - tastes average but made of fresh products. Very good wine. Nice interior.

I highly recommend to have a breakfast here. This cafe is so beautiful, quiet and with the best view on the city centre.. It's the perfect instagram spot! I loved also the food, very tasteful and delicious. Thank you!
