The restaurant building is beautiful, we walked their from our apartment, snow was falling and the building looked beautiful on arrival. The staff were welcoming and the decor was nice and modern with polish themes. We had starters and mains, then couldnt resist desserts. The prices are cheap when you consider what you pay for food of this standard in the UK, expensive for Zakopane, it was our last night so wanted a special meal.

Absolutely amazing fine food! Luckily the waiter spoke English very well so it was easy to choose among many delicious food. We tried Smoked trout salad which was my favourite! It was decorated with edible flowers and looked like a painting! Chanterelle with poached egg is also an outstanding choice! My main was Trout with hollandise sauce and cauliflower, beans. That was impressive! Then the beef cheek which was made previously in sous vide for long hours was really tender and delicious 😋 definitely this restaurant is a gem in Zakopane, I’d love to come back soon

All the food was authentic, delicious and tastefully served. The wait staff was warm, friendly and attentive.
The summetime evening atmosphere outside on the deck was pleasant with sufficient room between tables.
The only real disappointment was that almost none of the staff and definitely none of the other guests were seen to wear the required masks (pandemic) at anytime either inside or outside the restaurant. We still felt relatively safe however as we ate and stayed outdoors on the deck and avoided going inside the restaurant. In fairness, unfortunately we quite often saw this or similar on our holidays this summer in Poland.

We love to appreciate a good place. This time unfortunately not possible to do so. It was a second attempt within 2 years.
First time the service was not friendly, refused to change sides in the kids menu in a very unpolite manner, It spoiled the atmosphere
This time we hoped things had changed. The service was ok, however the waiter walked in the corridor cursing when he thought no one saw him. …
All 3 courses were cold . We were 3, we had a cold burger, cold lamb chops and a lamb shank which was cold as well. A €110 meal should he served warm …
The place doesn’t make one feel welcome. I don’t think they like the customers
With so much nice and friendly competition in Zakopne, we will go somewhere else

I was recommended this restaurant by the lady who runs the food stand in Dolina Strazyska. The food is tasty ( I had a duck with potatoes and vegetables) however they have no option for gluten free people. I saw that other customers got a bread with a dip for a starter unfortunately I had to decline it as I can’t have bread. It’s a pity they don’t have other options. The service was just ok as I expected to be asked after a few minutes of receiving food if everything was ok and also offered a dessert menu after finishing the meal. Not impressed and won’t be recommending the restaurant to other people. I prefer the food stand in dolina strazyska- the lady there knows how to sell food and how to serve customers.

We had breakfast over at the Zakopianka restaurant and not only the whole vibe was cool but the service was awesome. The breakfast menu wasn’t 5 page long but u can find any food variation u like. I highly recommend the two egg on bread with garlic pesto - everything from the homemade fresh bread to the bio eggs was perfect. Fresh squeezed orange juice is a must.

This place came recommended to us. Sadly it wasn’t our cup on tea. Service wasn’t friendly & seemed very rushed.
I can live with that if the food is great, again we felt this fell way short of the mark.
Felt like they were trying too hard to be different.
A nice goose & pistachio starter turned out to be a terrine with mainly goose offal.
Menu description needed to be way more accurate.
The trout starter was ok but with pickled cucumber, lemon gel & green strawberries was overall way too sour.
The burger I thought was a safe bet but it had the spiciest mustard Mayo all over it.
The beef cheek was again okay but the meat was bland.
Overall our worst eating experience in Poland. We didn’t finish 1 of the 4 dishes & you guessed it, it was by far the most expensive meal we’ve had all holiday.

Lovely setting. The waiter was very mechanical and lacked any warmth. The prices where quite high with the food taste not reflecting that. Presentation was good on all meals. We had beef tartare which was possibly the least flavourful I have tried in poland. The soup with the Rib on the side fell very short of what I think they where looking to accomplish.

The salmon trout i ordered was very well cooked, the grilled vegetables, the butter sauce were a mix of tastes that collided perfectly, i have rarely eaten so delicious. The hamburger my husband ordered was also sublime. We highly recommend this place as the staff was also super friendly.

Excellent service, staf was friendly and welcoming. The decor is nice and cozy, the food was delicious the moskol was excellent nicely seasoned, the beef filet was cooked perfectly with a nice crust on the outside, soup and pierogi where delicious as well. Thank you for a excelent dinner.

The food was delicious, a refined version of polish food in a beautiful setting, and the wine was excellent. On the pricier side, but we are from the UK so it's still so much cheaper for decent food! We had 4 glasses of wine, a starter of the smoked cheese and rhubarb (our favourite), two mains of pierogi with a veal sauce (which was a relatively small portion compared to the other main courses on offer) and two desserts for £65.
I liked the pierogi but would order something else next time, as it was a small portion and tasted a bit like cheesy mash 😅 worth trying, but there are so many nice sounding options on the menu.
Probably not great for vegans and the vegetarian items weren't clearly marked on the menu... so I'm not entirely sure there were any.

This restaurant was recommended to us for their beef tartare.
For all you carnivores out there - it is really amazing! Totally different from cookie-cutter tartare served in other restaurants and if you are an aficionado, it will blow your mind.
Super-nice service, reasonably priced, sure stop on next trip to Zakopane.

The place is really great. The dishes were tasty and each had a twist, but combined the local flavors. The staff were helpful and interested and spoke very good English. Everyone can find something to their liking on the menu, the ingredients were fresh. The wine selection is lavish, the waiter was prepared and well recommended. Excellent value for money.

We had visited this restaurant 2 years ago. It was absolutly amazing in that time so we came back. However this time our experience was very different. We ordered potato pancakes with oyster mushroom and an other one with smoked trout. Both were fine but nothing special.
The potato pancakes were like shop bought hash browns…
As a main I ordered dumplings with bryndza and sauerkraut with veal sauce. Sauerkraut was dried and didn’t add anything to the flavour the texture was awaful. We also ordered tagliatelle with chanterelle. Chanterelle was amazing but the pasta wasn’t cooked properly and was stuck together…. And at the end the prices are pretty high for ordinary normal food…. It’s not worth to visit. Previous chef was talented, the current one is not

Great place! Very friendly staff and really nice selection of very good dishes. I must say food is much better than in the center of Zakopane. Menu is perhaps not a traditional mountain food, I’d say it is a mountain food with a twist :) A must when in Zakopane!
