Very informal restaurant where you can eat good Polish food at a very reasonable price. Do not expect a five star service but you will eat in a very unique place, with nice rock music played during your meal. Normally quite full so be ready to queue. They do not serve alcohol and you can pay only cash here.

We came to this restaurant based on another review and so glad we did. What a place! Different in all ways! From the choice of music playing to the decor - everywhere you look was something else to see, it was like Where's Wally but for old antique items - absolutely fantastic! The food was good and the owner spoke English. We had the chicken pasta soup which was delicious, the chicken (schnitzel) and filet steak with cheese... all comes with a variety of salads and potatoes. Simple food but tasty. No alcohol is served here. Recommended just for the experience. We loved it and would never have found it just driving around, this gem is tucked away.

This alcohol free place is extraordinarily welcoming. The host speaks several languages. The kitchen closes circa 8pm local time and there’s no booking.
The food is outstanding. I had the borsch with a dumpling in it. One of the most delicious soups. I followed with a pork cutlet with a locally smoked cheese. It was accompanied with two almost definitely (I didn’t ask) salads (beetroot and a carrot) homemade gherkins. The hugest portion of crushed boiled potatoes. Eaten all together made for a taste sensation (I don’t usually like gherkins). For me the best course (they were all amazing) were the pierogi (dumplings) filled with blueberries served with sour cream. My husband and I shared a small portion which was more than enough and left us wanting more, but glad we didn’t).
We had three well behaved - tuck under the table - dogs on leads with us and they were welcomed too.
The whole evening was a try success and cost, for two of us, with 3 soft drinks, was 138pz. (Exchange rates at time (May 2024) GBP £28.75)
It was also lovely that, at the end of the evening the host chatted with us for about 15 mins. It was thundering so we were invited, dogs too, through the back of the restaurant to the car park. That was hugely appreciated.
Recommend wholeheartedly

Cosy, traditional interior design with a friendly, rock dude as the main waiter and, probably, owner.
Tasty, cheap traditional polish food (limited variety); do not expect any refining taste, though - main dishes were sided with plain boiled potatoes (no salt or pepper).
It's worth a visit just to take a taste of mama's food.
Only cash, no alcohol.

Very limited menu selection, mainly fried, no special taste or experience - in my opinion very avarage food. Napkins missing on the table, dark interior, very long wait at the front of the restaurant. We came based on tripadvisors review but really expected something more than usual... also, they do not serve any alcohol and you can Pay only cash.

Marzanna is the best restaurant we visited during our week-long stay in Zakopane (and the cheapest one at the same time!). We loved the relaxed atmosphere and of course, the homemade food. I recommend especially soups, pancakes and dumplings.

A definite must in Zakopane. Off the main tourist area. Delicious homemade food- I had tomato soup and chicken breast ( schnitzel) which came with boiled potatoes and three delicious homemade salads- beet, cabbage, and carrot. Very reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. Will probably go back during this visit!

Very nice atmosphere of the inn. A lot of different types of souvenirs from different times.
Delicious food, large portions and the entire order for 8 people was served very quickly.
In addition, there is very nice service, so there is everything you need. Well, maybe apart from beer, which we can't drink at Marzanna.

What an experience! Amazing traditional food with a twist. The flavors jump out at you. The place is decorated (in vintage pieces. Too many to mention!), and run by the owner who has to be one of the coolest men I've met in Poland. So welcoming. We'll be back for sure. Thank you

We heard about it on a food blog so we thought we’d check it out for a quick lunch before we got our bus back. We were worried at first that we wouldn’t make our bus because the queue was so long, but we waited because we figured it must be special if so many people were waiting. The staff worked amazingly quickly (still finding time to have a laugh and joke with customers) and we were seated much sooner than we could’ve expected. We ordered kwasnica soup and the ukranian pierogi. The food lived up to the hype, warming and incredibly satisfying. For 2 soups, a large plate of pierogi and a drink it came to 10 pounds! (Including a tip). Probably the best value food I’ve ever had and well worth a visit!
