Not bad, but from no.1 pierogi place one would expect much more. Place has it's atmosphere, offering is fine, prices are ok. We had pierogi with meat and another one with spinnach. They were fine, but little dry, I was expecting some sour cream or...cheese. Had better ones before in Poland. Service was ok, but could be better, waiting about 20 min for meal.More

Should you have a taste for pierogi that’s the place to go. Seriously. What’s more, good music from a record player.

Superb!

In the city centre, not very easy to park in the season. Better walk there. Not a very big place, family owned and run. I'd your are in 10 or more might be not very easy to find place. Particularly in the season. After a...little longer that expected waiting time fantastic pierogi landed on our table. We had meat - vet good. Like home made. But the real HIT are the one with apple and cinnamon! Heaven. And VERY good value for money.More

Disappointing Pierogi

We had hoped a place that only sold pierogi would be amazing. While they do make them freshly on order, the pastry was stodgy and too thick, and the fillings were miserable. Very disappointing experience!

Excellent Pierogies

Cute place serving some of the best pirogues I have had in Poland. Had only regular meat ones, which were delicious. They come with soft caramelised onions on top. It's a tad pricy with 18-20 PLN for 8-9 prices. It's a popular place and therefore...can have waiting time, even during day time. We visited around 16:00 and were lucky to get the last table and witnessed quite a queue when we left. Highly recommendable!More

fabulous and outstanding

fantastic pierogi and wonderful atmosphere! I suggest the spinach and cheese pierogi although the meat ones were also delicious. an inviting place to eat.

Magnificent pierogi

Visited several times during our stay in Szczyrk. All pierogi were absolutely delicious. The bartender/waiter is a really nice, friendly guy. Watch-outs: it takes about 20 min for the order to arrive and the place isn't open every day

Very nice pierogi

Authentic pierogi served in a seventies ambiance in the library cellar. Music from scores of LP's played on actual record player. Great style, great food. Paid 75 zł for 3 sets of pierogi, drinks and tip. Good value!

Awful place

Place is just awful stinking with old beer at the entrance already. When raining now way to sit outside. Terrible experience - I don't understand all these excellent reviews.

Best pierogi!

I was very amazed by the interior. It looks so old fashioned and comfy. Waiter was very funny and nice. But the best were pierogi! I just fell in love. I ate pierogi with apples and I have to admit that I've never eaten better!

Best Pierogi in the area

Truly magical place! Not only for your tummy but also for the artistic mind. Place is finished with unique photographs from the past, memorising historical moments in the world.
