Unprofessional and very rude service. They have no idea about the order the dishes should be served. They were surprised client ordering cookie and coffee expects to receive them at the same time. When informed they started shouting at me. they were trying to judge...me saying I'm unfamilar - this is the phenomenon I have never seen all over the world. Be prepared for an extended waiting time (girls in the restaurant moves sloooooowly) and shifted times of food serving. Do not trust the old opinions, service has changed suddenly and it is rather road bar level (however, will repeat again, I have never seen as impertinent waitress here as here) than a good restaurant it used to be a time ago. I will never be back.More

I've eaten at this restaurant a few times and highly recommend it. The pierogies are delicious - best fried and not boiled. The staff is friendly.

If you are in Mielec and looking to experience Polish traditional dining, this is the place with log cabin style architecture, traditional clothing of staff, and tasty Polish cuisine. However plan to order food well in advance if you will have a big group of...people, otherwise you may wait a long time to be served dinner.More

The food here is always good but the menu doesn’t change. The place seems like more of tourist stop then a place to eat regularly.

This is one of my stops to eat dinner when I am in Mielec. Nice choice of meals for dinner and the service is good. I recommend the mushroom soup. It’s very good

This is a very nice restaurant that serves traditional Polish food. It is very good at a reasonable price. I usually stop here a few times for dinner when I am in the area. I have never been disappointed with any meal I have ordered.

A relatively new entry on the Mielec eating scene, the Karczma Polska, located on the edge of SSE Europark appeals to a wide range of clients, but is beyond the pockets of ordinary Poles. Traditional Karczma style – a large, all wooden building with a...large dormer eyebrow window, these establishments are patterned on the Zakopane or mountain style. Using traditional materials and usually set in, or, as in this case, adjacent to, woodland. In Mielec, in spite of its close proximity to industry, the Karczma provides an exceptionally nice environment, particularly as a wedding venue, but also for we mere mortal diners. Lovely landscaped gardens with streams, ponds and fish make this an ideal place to take the family for a treat. We ate on the veranda outside the Karczma on a very busy Sunday in October. I was not aware of eating out for Sunday lunch being particularly popular, but (judging by the expensive cars in the car park) for those who can afford it this is rapidly catching on. Put bluntly the prices here are equivalent to eating out in the UK, the style and quality of the food is however rather different. The menu is presented in a wooden book and is extensive – if heavily meat based – to say the least. Everything we ate here was very good, however, if I have a criticism of it, it is that all dishes appeared to be served “dry”, which makes large portions of beef or pork somewhat heavy. On a Sunday afternoon at least service is fairly slow, but the Karczma appeared to be full to capacity which obviously put pressure both on kitchen and serving staff. Tip: Do try the lemonade, mixed with lime and a dash of home-made honey, it was the most refreshing drink I think I have ever had!More

Good food, nice interior-very consistent decor, one of the best in such restaurants, the only thing I didn't like was that we waited a bit too long to be served
