Edge of the tourist trail, freshly made pastries and coffees, justifiably Italian… no double skinny lattes here) excellent gelato. Try their narancinos, savoury rice ball with dry shrimps and veg, in shape of an orange. Not to miss 👌❤️

The wick point of Krakow is definitely bakeries and in general places with pastries. Katane fortunately doesn't belong in this category. Has great pastries, delicious croissants with different kind of fillings and additionally you can find options like calzone. All of them fresh and in...really good prices. Croissants for 8 pln and the rest less than 9 pln. I totally recommend this place. And I feel free to tell me if there is a better place for pastries than this one.More
After reading the mixed reviews on here I found myself compelled in trying it out. Was not disappointed. Ice cream 10/10.
Such exciting displays, interesting flavours, and cheap prices (4 zloty a scoop, two for 7). I sat with mine at a street table and thought how lucky I was.
Great afogato, delicious cannoli, friendly service and a clean bathroom. What more could anyone ask for?
never get bored to eat ice cream katane. every time we see their shop, we always buy. their waitress is very friendly and helpfull. Their ice cream very very delicious, real and price makes sense.
We stopped here for a quick gelato and coffee, and were ultimately disappointed in the quality of the "gelato". At least for us, both the taste and consistency were off compared to the real stuff. The service was also a bit confusing and the indoor...seating cramped. On the plus side, the coffee was good, so maybe for takeaway coffee in the nearby park it would be a good choice.More
We went there twice for breakfast. There are some pies with different fillings that were very tasty. Great coffee. There are also some sandwiches. The waitresses were very friendly and spoke english.
My partner and I had been walking around Krakow for a couple of hours and needed a little boost. We came across this little coffee shop on the edge of the Planty. We only ordered an espresso, but the staff were friendly, spoke perfect English...and made a perfect espresso! The price is reasonable too. The espresso was bold and strong in flavour and had a lovely foam on the top. Perfect little boost!More
We stopped here and ordered a gelato. It was yummy and about PLN 7.50 for two small cup. The best part is that they offer cozy seating, including some outside seats, or best of all one can walk across the street and sit in a...lovely park that surrounds the old town.More
This lovely little cafe mainly sells ice creams, but i called in here when looking around Krakow. I ordered 1 coffee,i had a espresso and it was delicious. The cakes and pastries on sale looked lovely but i decided to stick with a hot drink. Staff were...friendly and spoke good English and service was quick and efficient. It appeared very popular and is situated in the main shopping area. I would recommend a visit here.More
We stopped into Katane for a drink and a bite to eat and liked it so much we returned the next day! It is a small, quaint little place that offers great sandwiches, coffee and desserts. The lemon gelato was the best I have every...had!More
After lots of walking, our group decide to stop for drinks and a snack. Prices were excellent. Food lovely. Only problem we had was our order was a little mixed up, probably due to the language issue and the size of our group, however the...staff were brilliant and very apologetic.More
After returning to Kraków from a Day trip we stopped off at Katane for a drink and bite to eat. The hot chocolates were amazing, came in lots of flavours and tasted delicious.
To me the place is very small, but their ice cream is excellent, and its assortment is constantly changing.
