Local friends recommended it to me. It is a very nice place, always full of people (which is good because it speaks about the quality), with nice, friendly and helping staff. Food is great. It is Italian-style, but I guess they add a subtle Polish...note to everything. It is easily accessible by tram/bus, minutes from the city center. Nice interior, nice terrace. It was the No.1 choice for my girlfriend and me during our three-week stay in Krakow. I can cordially recomend it to everyone! Like always and everywhere, it's the people that make a place good or bad. In Cychy Kacik (Quiet Corner, or Tihi Kutak - quite similarly sounding in my language), the staff members make you feel welcome and as being home. Special greetings to them from Zagreb, Chorwacja! <3More
Very tasty, excellent food. I only wish my lasagne portion could be pretty bigger. However, I fully recommend that place
As a pasta-lover, who often goes to Italy just to eat pasta, I can say that pasta here have the same quality that you can find in Roma. As a famous Italian said : “Details make perfection, and perfection is not a detail.” and I...could notice some details that proved management is obviously making an effort to seek that detail. Great selection of wine and Angelika took care very nicely and efficiently of our table with a smile that can sometimes be difficult to find in Eastern Europe. Thank you! (quite cheap as well)More
I was there many times in ten years, nice surroundings, nice decoration, no music, nice atmosphere, etc... But, expensive for quality served. Pizza Parma was a nice picture, but tomato sauce was just a colour, DRY. Veal meat was gum. Didn't take dessert or coffee....NEVER AGAIN.More
Great stuff and food, rude manager (blond lady, short hair) I’ve been visiting this restautant for 4 years now. I only could say great things both for food and stuff. However, today I had a really bad hospitality experiance from none the less than the...manager. As there are new rules due to pandemic every table needs to be desinfected before next guests take a seat. On my question to waiter is it ok to sit at table outside, that have not yet been cleaned/desinfected he replied of course, you are welcome. We took a seat, not touching table or anything on it and when manager saw us she rudely ordered us to get up. Upon my response that we asked her employee if it’s ok and he granted it, she just raised her voice and in military tone ordered us to get up. No please, no sorry for inconvenience, appologies on behalf my employee, he should not alow us etc. Just pure rude and quite nervous order to get up. Regardles of my blood presure going up I remained calm, moved away from table and emberrased stood 2 m away with my fiancée waiting for table to be cleaned up. With eyes of other guests pointed at us as. Ofc chairs that we sat on were not disinfected so in terms of epidemiology rules it would be same if we remained setaed with clearance from table. We may need to learn rules, however there is no excuse for her attitude (since we did ask the waiter) and she as manager should serve as the example to others. This example was anything but. Waiters provided great service as always, food was great as always. Regardless I will stay regular here. Hope communication skills will be improved.More
popular with locals. busy on Sunday night when we went yesterday. very handy as located at the terminus of tram line 20. it is a regular when we come to Krakow. dishes are routine but we'll cooked. I enjoyed gnocci with prawns. young servers. very...reasonable pricesMore
Fantastic food. I'm a huge fan of Italian food so when it comes to eating it needs to be perf and it was! We have ordered bruschetta for starter and it was very tasty, the presentation just made us wanted to eat it straight away....For main dish I had carbonara and our friends had pizza, we both loved everything part of food. The service was lovely, keen to help and answer all the questions and kind. My partner lives in Krakow so when we come back there for holiday we will return for 100%. Cannot wait :)More
Good service when we come service making table for us we are 9 it's in Italian style good music and makes good mood
Been there twice in a week. Very good italian style. They provide a very good service even at the entrance there’s a sign saying that sometimes you can wait more than 30 minutes for the food when is busy. But I went twice during the...week for the lunch and I never wait more than 15 minutes for it. They say a lot about the Italian culture in the menu and they provide good quality of vines. The food is not topical italian but they got some new changes in their plates. The portions are huge specially if you will compare them of the restaurants in the Kazimierz. The price is cheap also. I will deffinetly come back and raccomand to anyone. I use to live for 11 years in italy and I’m Polish so trust me this is a really good place to eat a lot and drink a good vine with a good italian style.More
Wow what an awesome food. Great great great. We went with a family of 6 and a two year old. We were very lucky to get table just on a wee play ground garden when my little girl was more than happy to play. It...was a last Sunday of May and the place was started to get busy around 1pm. We were served promptly and the food was delicious. We had salmon and beef dishes between all of us. Everyone was pleased with the quality. I would definitely revisit again and highly recommend. The only negative point I have is a dirty chairs in the garden where we sat. My brothers jeans were dirty and we only have noticed on a way walking back thru Bloni. My bottom was also noticeable even I was wearing quite dark trousers. Please make sure it’s clean as it could have been worse for someone wearing white bottoms! I was trying to add a picture to show the stains but apparently it’s to big over 5MB ...More
Krakow 's trams seem under regular renewal but last night we found tram 14 took us the shortest route from the main station. At 20.00 the restaurant was nearly empty of guests but on a warm evening the midges were in evidence! I had my...regular ricotta ravioli and my wife the pasta and shrimp. Both tasty. I followed with the cheesecake which was rather dry and end-of-day. Cheerful service from young waitress.More
We were a party of 6 people for dinner. The waiter immediately greeted and seated us. Our order was taken with great help from the waiter and the food was served in good time. The place has the feel of an authentic local Italian restaurant....The food is very good. The wine list acceptable. The service was very good. I highly recommend this place away from the busy centre. There is access by bus from the Central Station Kraków Głowny.More
The 20 tram does not currently serve Cichy Kaczik but we got there on 2 buses from Krakow Glowny. Worth the effort as traditional Italian fare served without any fuss. Charming young waitress who put up with my elementary Polish when her English so much...better. Tolerable white house wine. My tiramisu soft and creamy. This restaurant now our first night each visit to Krakow.More
That's the place where I went for a first date with my lady (my wife right now). We enjoyed so much time spent there and fantastic Italian food. We come back there regularly and we have never been disappointed in any aspect. Great food, friendly...service, reasonable prices. What more could you want?More
