Upper scale restaurant in Kraków for traditional Polish cooking. All the dishes we tried were excellent but the pierogis were memorable! Courtyard seating was perfect for summer dining.

Miod Malina is an attractively decorated restaurant on Krakow's Grodzka Street in the Old Town. A key feature is the wood-burning, open fireplace. It has earned well-deserved mention in the Michelin Guide and has an interesting menu which did not disappoint when we picked it for our first dinner during our week in the old Polish city. Try it if... More

We had dinner with friends there since we wanted to taste traditional polish dishes (traditional polish soup served in a bread bowl was outstanding and herring with beetroots was melting in mouths). What I liked about the place is the design and menu itself which does not limit to only polish cuisine (they do dominate, especially meat, that's true, but... More

A bit more costly than the usual restaurants serving quick meals to busy tourists, this restaurant is an oasis of calm in the midst of the busy tourist season in the heart of Old Town. We had lunch here following an excellent walking tour of Kraków and found the ambience, the service, and the food all to be excellent. This... More

Wonderful lunch the first day we arrived to Kraków. I had the traditional Polish soup in a bread bowl and the others had the potato pancakes with meat stew and apple and parsnip soup. All were delicious . Nice selection of other meals both lighter and heavier.

I loved the place. In the Old Center of the City, beautiful terace, candle lights, a guy singing on a piano. Loved the Polish herring matijas. The beef tenderloin with griiled vegetables was, also, perfect cooked. Can't wait to visit again.

I'm fairly unimpressed by the restaurant "scene" in Kraków. Polish food being heavy and rather uninteresting. Miod Malina was the best we had in 6 days....but it would NOT rank highly in many other European cities. Still, an enjoyable dinner. Very good service. A little "attitude" from the maitre 'd (based on the popularity of the restaurant) but he loosened... More

It is located in the centre, offers a lot of options and serves in a timely manner. Has a Michelin star, altough prices are still acceptable. Always full, so it can be useful to book atable in advance.

Good service but very small portion. No side salad and not enough cus cus. Would have been very easy and cheap for them to be generous, but alas...
