Restaurant is not easy to find, but if you do you will be very pleased. we sat in the covered garden area at the back as it was a nice warm evening, the food was freshly cooked and delicious. We both had the Beef Strogonoff...with friendly service and lovely surroundings. Clean and tidy, decent drinks and well priced with great service, will certainly return on our next visit to KrakowMore
We had dinner here with 20% off on krakow card. Mid-week in on our holiday been gagging for unprocessed food and this was very nicely cooked. The portions aren't massive but it was tasty. I had the chicken pie, which was like a pastie if...you are English. I liked that there was some salad on the side with some light vinegarette dressing, unlike the frozen veg smothered in mayo type processed salad dressing we had at a different restaurant the night before! Also the dumplings came with some nice tasting Greek yogurt. My partner had a chicken and mash dish which also looked good. The restaurant was very homely and cosy feel. It was quiet when we went, lateish on a Friday, but I think they deserve some more customers. We only heard about it because of the Krakow card but it was good value for our dinner - a little cheaper and yet better quality than some of the venues we have tried in the area!More
Lunch in this quiet,shady garden was one of our favourites.The food is fresh and delicious with a surprising choice that varies from the usual Polish traditionals.Wish I could go right now !
So much regret we had diner there. It seemed a good choice on TA for our first evening in Krakow. We were so happy to discover polish food ! What a disappointment.... Dirty table cloth. Unpleasant Waitress obviously annoyed by the few minutes we need...to ordre on the menu. Not a word of excuse when she spills the orange juice on the table. Very annoyed when my husband takes the time to check the bill , waiting with the visa machine with unfriendly look on her face. What rude manners for a restaurant. Top of the top 1 hour wait between my husband et daughter service ... and the rest of the family !!! For plain food. I clearly dont recommand the place.More
Friendly service, great local dishes. Good warming food for a cold December day. Excellent value for money. Soups and Schnitzel dishes excellent.
We ate here on the last night of our stay in Krakow, and enjoyed the homely atmosphere in this small and friendly restaurant midway between the Jewish Quarter and the Main Square. Service was personal and attentive, the food was authentically Polish and very tasty,...and it was excellent value for money. Highly recommended!More
We found this restaurant by chance and was really pleased by our experience. It's small with only 7 tables, so nice and cosy atmosphere. It get like you were in someone's front room. I think they have a outdoor garden area too but this wasn't...open when we came in the evening. The food was nice, not an extensive menu but we certainly enjoyed what we ate and would recommend a visit. Very good value for moneyMore
Whenever I go to Krakow I drop in there for 'pelmeny' and tiny little 'pierogi' with white fish and herbs, served with lemon butter. Amazing! Nice ambiance, nice atmosphere, friendly service. Recommended.
What a find! Lovely lady served us and brought delicious food. Husband had a herring with potato starter whilst I splashed out on the red caviar, sour cream and vodka. Followed with pirogies. We paid on credit card in local currency (which is always advisable...for best rate) and found it to be very reasonable.More
They present the credit card in dollars using an artificial low exchange rate in addition to automatically adding a service charge something I did not see elsewhere during my three week in Poland. The food was ok but is better at the Ukranian restaurant closer...to the rynek.More
We loved it here. Had the beef stroganoff and pork loin and both were delicious. Super friendly staff and nice beers. I rarely leave reviews but felt I should give this awesome little restaurant a shout out for capping our night off in style. Thank...you so much :)More

We had table reserved for four, we arrived on time but restaurant was full and they had forgot our booking, even though our reservation was on their list and confirmed. Fortunately we found very nice italian restaurant Corleone Krakow near by and had very nice...dinner there. I would not recommend Wisniowy Sad, instead Corleone I would recommend that had very authentic food and kind service.More
A great find. The ambience is intimate and the food was excellent. The beef dish was exceptional and one of our group had a quality chicken salad. Highly recommended.
