Decided on a cake & beer when visiting the castle and headed for the patio. Caught the eye of a waitress and gave our order - two beers (only alcohol free available) and two cakes. Beers really tasty (better than many alcoholic equivalent back in...the U.K. Well worth stopping there if visiting the castle.More

Visited 07 July 2019 Don't waste your time. The service is terrible, and confusing for a visit. There are three sets of tables, one outside i the front, one outside at the back, and one set of tables in front of the cash register and...serving counter. There are two different systems in place:The two sets of tables get table service, and the indoor tables don't: but nobody knows that. The waitresses all walk past, look you in the eyem realised you have no idea what is going on, and then ignore you. Like all the other confused tourists, I did finally get up and ask. Gosia the manager (apparently) asked me if I could provbide more "girls" and she could get table service indoors as well. Well, that was not rellay my question or my point, but did perhaps make the point of totally incompetent service. When I did finally get my iced coffee, it was terrible, and I left it largely untouched. This is the signature "Wawel" café at Wawel Castle. It is Wawel Castle that the chocolate brand takes its name from. So, I am a little perplexed at this café having such terrible service, and poor quality product.More

Too long for menu, too long to order, too long for lemonade, too long for the bill :( Non-alcoholic beer only, without information about it in menu.

We stopped here while visiting local landmarks. Nice local café with lovely coffee. Plenty of space inside/outside.

On our recent visit to Krakow, most days, at some time or other, we happened upon this cafe at the castle front. Delicious desserts, coffee's and cold beers on a hot day. Also the Warka Radler shandy type beer was a new one for me,...would recommend, very refreshing. Will be back on our next visit to Krakow.More

Chocolate with cherries and then Cream Cake with a black Americano was what we ordered. Sharing a cake seemed advisable as we had noticed everyone around struggling to finish their cakes! I turned out to be a good choice because my chocolate was amazingly thick......Rather crowded but there were lots of visitors about.More

We received a warm welcome even though we visited near closing, we ordered the Wawel cheesecake and the hot apple strudel with ice cream as well as an ice cream hot chocolate which came with a little chocolate truffle and a coconut hot chocolate which...came with a square of home made fudge, both served with lots of cream, they were a little on the cold side and needed a good stir as they were extremely rich. The cakes were amazing, especially the cheesecake which I normally don't like but it had the same texture as cake and was served with fresh raspberry coulis, was very tasty and it was a lovely place to sit and reflect on the day.More

What a nice little place to sit and warm up after walking to and around the castle. Located in the building housing the ticket office and gift shop. We had two teas and a coffee for a reasonable 28 PLN. Loved this little coffee shop....Did not want to leave.More

Worst service ever. If I could get minus star I would. 👎😠 Absolutely rubbish. The staffs even don't know how to say sorry to customers 👎👎👎

A great restaurant, on a nice location, offering great views over Vistula River. Their drinks and cakes are indeed very good. Recommend the apple pie, and the Wawel cheesecake. Also, they serve drinks at quite reasonable prices. Totally recommend! Regards to really helpful and polite...staff!More

We tried the rasperry torte and were quite satisfied. Not the best in the world, but definitely better than substandard tourist fare. This is a great place to relax for a few minutes - or an hour or so - during your tour of Wawel....And free wifi!More

A small was very small but any bigger would be sickly it is literally melted dark chocolate! Just sheer gorgeousness! Can be a little breezy when you sit so take a jacket or shawl

Unfortunately, our time at Wawel Castle was limited. We put most of it into seeing the attractions, but then just before we left, we wanted to get a bite to eat. I picked out a couple of pre-made sandwiches, a couple of bottles of soda,...found an empty table (surprisingly) and we shared the two sandwiches, and they weren't bad! It went so quickly, that we had still a little extra time to appreciate the glorious grounds of the castle on our way to the taxi stand.More

This is a good place to take break and enjoy a beet, coffee, ice cream or small snack. Service was good and wiews to the castle and cathedral and surrounding gardens relaxing. Recommended.
