Beautiful place with beautiful people. I'm Italian and with these dishes I was able to appreciate Polish cuisine. Best in Kraków.

Nice staff, english not bad. Food very good and price also good due to location which is in the main square.
We stopped by for a quick lunch - and it was a great choice, we tried zurek (sour soup) served in bread bowls and traditional kaszanka + home made kompot. All very nice, prices reasonable and we loved all the decorations.
This Polish chain has gone through some in ownership over the years and the quality of the food has been impacted. Thought I would give it another try after the covid lockdown was lifted. Service so-so, beetroot soup was great but the potato pancakes were...disappointing - few potatoes, mostly flour. They seem to be focused more on attracting tourists than repeat customers looking for hearty Polish food.More
We visited last year initially and had some issues with service (waited almost half an hour after being seated before being approached for our order) however the food was delicious so we decided to give it a second chance however the service still needs some...improvement. The lady waiting on us was friendly and took our order promptly however I ordered a mojito to drink and was brought a glass of what I believe was just rum and soda water (no mint, lime or sugar as would be expected). When we brought this up she told us this was a more traditional restaurant so it was a traditional Polish mojito which doesn't seem right. Surely even a "traditional" mojito should at least have mint and some kind of sweetness. No offer was made to rectify this which was disappointing. The food was ok. The chicken was delicious and perfectly cooked but mashed potato was a bit lumpy and the lard we had as a starter was a little hard in places. We probably wouldn't go again to be honest as it seems a bit hit or miss.More
We enjoyed good time and had the opportunity to taste real polish food. Really interesting is the opportunity to combine more dishes in a big plate and make a real degustation.
I didn't take enough photos but the food was really lovely here, we had baked pierogis, friends had the streamed ones and both were lovely. We also tried beef rolls and goulash with pancakes... All really tasty and good beers and service too! Worth a...visit.More
Went in there specifically for the dumplings which were recommended to us by a friend. Did not disappoint. We also had zurek as a starter, it was good, but not as good as the ones had in Warsaw. On the other side, the dumplings (pierogi)...were very tasty, especially the oven ones, and the pielmeni type. Note to the service - they served us the wrong dumplings at the start but they recognised the mistake themselves, and gave us another 5 dumplings (value circa 6-7 Euros) for free to apologise for the mistake. Luckily they were also the best dumplings they had, so big thumbs up.More
The whole experience was shockingly bad. We went in to book at midday as it was my birthday and we didn't want to miss out, the waiter took our name but never wrote the booking down, so it was no surprise that when we went...back in the evening there was no reservation. After waiting 10 minutes they managed to squeeze us in to the cellar room with it's strange fake daylight windows and draught. We ordered the mixed platter which had lots of different Polish foods so that we could try them all, after waiting 40 minutes we were served a platter with 3 slabs of processed meat which genuinely smelt rancid. We told the waiter this wasn't what we ordered, he said it was very similar (it wasn't) and he would bring us the rest of the foods. we waited another 10 minutes for him to come back, this time with a tub of lard and some bread. By this point the couple behind us had refused to eat their meal, we were so put off by the smell of the meat that we were no longer hungry, we noticed that the plates they had given us were filthy and still covered in food and there were 2 flies in my beer. We told them we were leaving and they made us wait a further 20 minutes for our beer bill which was double the price of anywhere else we had been in Krakow. During this time we got a look at a corridor at the back of the restaurant...where dirty plates and dishes were piled up on the floor!!! I know that they were extremely busy and the waiting staff could not cope with the quantity of guests but seriously this place is a health hazard.More
Used to be the place to go The food was average, not as local as other restaurants The warm beer and hot tea were good
We were in the place with a biggish group. There was quite a lot of food, but rather average in taste. Rather bland pierogi and cabbage rolls. All in all, okay to eat but not enough to enjoy. Service was not very good either -...waiters were not rude, but not too attentive and very eager to take away platters with food. We were served instant coffee in the end, which is rather unacceptable for a place calling itself a restaurant...More
Enjoyed the traditional polish food here. Very tasty and plentiful. Very helpful, attentive staff. Had a very pleasant visit.
Chanced upon this place whilst in need of an evening meal. Good menu and really reasonably priced for its location in Central Krakow. Great example of traditional Polish food spoiled by indifferent service - (Sat for ages before anyone appeared. Waiter wanders off in middle...of taking the order to see to someone else. Mains arrive while still eating starter. Table next to us sending back cold food). It's a shame as the place is great and it should be 5 stars all the way on here. No reason to tip.More
Very nice atmosphere! Big portions with weird taste! The staff was very helpful and polite!! Totally recommended if you want to taste the Poland cuisine
Heard the good reviews and when walking past was told by a customer that it was very good, it wasn’t to our taste, food was bland and some wasn’t that hot, maybe a problem with the microwave, staff are very attentive and helpful if you...have a problem, we wouldn’t personally go again, but I wouldn’t tell people not to go it just wasn’t for us,More
