The sharing platters are excellent. The hot mead is like Nectar. Great fun place. We had a team meeting and dinner there.

We visited this place with our colleagues. This place was given a very authentic look with wooden furnitures polish dress and authentic polish foods which tasted fantastic. The ambience was very cozy and informal it was a pleasure to have dinner with my colleagues.

I little outside the center and if you go in the evening best to make reservations before as it fills up quickly. Food is mixture of Polish and Ukranian dishes to washed down with some good beer and honey vodka. Portions are large and stff helpful and freindly

This restaurant was recommended for authentic Polish food and luckily we were able to sit upstairs without a reservation. (Most people were turned away w/o reservations on this Saturday night.) Downstairs there was a live Polish band with a warm fireplace and a lovely atmosphere which we visited after our excellent dinner. The periogies were the best my husband has... More

Our taxi driver recommended this as a place where locals ate. It didn't disappoint. My daughter and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and our dinner. We walked and enjoyed our return trip. Our beer and ribs were delicious as were our salads.

Came here for dinner a few times. Food was generally very good, especially the Pierogi (highly recommend!) The staff could sometimes be a bit unattentive and the prices are quite expensive for Poland which is where this restaurant loses points unfortunately. Other then that, it's a great place for dinner if you are looking for Polish cuisine and want to... More

This restaurant is for people with big stomaches. The portions are so large that it is impossible to eat the whole one for ordinary woman and even for some men. That's why the prices are also quite high. The food is from Polish cuisine and it is generally very greasy. There is no choice of salads or other healthy food.... More

We lost our hope to ever find a good restaurant for our dinner after a long day in Krakow. Old town - too expensive, small boat-restaurants -- no prices. Went over the bridge, to the other part of town. Found our luck. FANTASTIC mood and excellent food. Tasty as hell! Acceptable prices. If ever we visit Krakow again, we would... More

There are a lot of parking places around the restaurant which is a big plus for guys who are comming with they own car. At weekend and during week after 20:00 parking for free. This restautant has very nice garden and comfort places with tables to have meal outside. Everything is in village style, like wood plates, benches, walls. I... More

Found this restaurant in our guide book it was a bit of a walk from the main square / attractions but well worth it. We went at lunchtime so it was fairly quiet but still had a good atmosphere. Food was traditional from the 1700, massive portions we could have shared the pork knuckle which was huge. Also think the... More

Description
We will host you Honourable Dames and Sires, with a gladness in our hearts in the halls of a seventeenth century tavern with splendidly flavoursome food and drinks of all sorts. Our maids and lackey open the gate at noon and close them at 12 on dusk. Chy canst savour delicacies of the olden polish cuisine. And all these delicious bites should taste the finest when washed down with a quart of exquisite spirits. We will be delighted with your company. Thyncanst east in four chambers uniting ten dozen quests to the sounds of the ancient tunes of Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine. Crackling flames of blazing fire in the hearth will relocate thy back in time to the depths of Sienkiewicz's "With Fire and Sword". The letters of Scripture proclaim that when father and mother are no longer thy will listen thy uncle. Alas, as thy uncle, I tell you and swear a solenn oath that thou will not find more mouth-watering victuals and beverages in all the land of Poland and neither in Inflants. I now what I say stands true for I travelled the Inflants far and wide many a time
