We had a very good visit here while in Krakow. The food was very good and so was the service. Two thumbs up.

Nice artificial beach and bar with swimming pool on boat. Nice range of drinks but not cheapest. Service average

Very nice surroundings. Great view and cozy places to sit outside. What was wrong then? There are no real beers (let's be honest: Żywiec is not a beer :P), my drink was too sweet and... something was not entirely right

Stopped at Plaza for lunch after a stroll along the river. There's lots to choose from on the in the way of drinks and food with pasta, salads, panini and meat dishes on the menu. Although virtually empty Plaza on a hazy summer afternoon, there...was a nice atmosphere and it is a good place to relax and take in the views. I opted for a goat's cheese, pear and raspberry vinaigrette which was beautifully presented and the ingredients worked surprisingly well together. Could have been a bit more cheese but only because it was so tasty! The prices for food at Plaza were about average for Kraków.More

If I could give this place 0 I would. Having never given a bad review on trip advisor I felt compelled to be honest about this place. Bar staff were allowed to order and eat food at the bar, customers are told to sit down...and wait for waitress service. Waitress service was very slow. Bar staff constantly on their phones whilst customers trying to order. Over priced- 7sl for a glass bottle of water -which held less than a can of coke and which was for a child- we were told we could not have a plastic bottle then when we ordered from somebody else later on we were then offered a plastic bottle. Staff simply didn't care, one waitress tried to do everything and 4 other staff stood doing nothing telling her what to do. Two ice cream fridges (30 degrees on the day we visited) full of ice cream left turned off so children couldn't have ice cream either.More

I cannot believe so of negative stuff that gas been pedalled about this place. The notion that this place is massively more expensive than everywhere else in krakow is quite frankly utter nonsense. It's prices are comparable to many of the bars in market square....So ignore any negative stuff. The food is nice, and the waiter was really friendly. The pool is 20zl per person for an hour. Pricey? Well it works out under 4 pounds so I can't see the logic of people moaning about that. If you change money there we were getting 5.85 to the pound. We did 2 hours and in baking summer of Poland lounging on a sun bed or swimming in the pool as the boats cruised passed was a welcome break from the midday heat. It's an experience. See it for what it is. It's utterly unique quirky and fun. Some people expect everything in Poland to be cheap. This experience is not expensive nor is the bar. The pool and the bar are immaculately clean and the pool was packed with locals as well as tourists. In fact they were queuing to get in. You pay for an hour at a time. And funnily enough lots of people were willing to pay the 20zl to experience this lovely poolMore

I must say that I went there with my girlfriend about 11 am to drink some ice coffee and tea. Despite the fact that there was some customers already waiting the staff was just starting to clean the restaurant. After long waiting we received a...ice tea served in a jar. I think that there was my visit there.More

We called in here for a drink and snack after visiting the nearby Japanese museum/art. The venue is gorgeous, right on the river with fantastic views. For some bizarre reason, we were the only customers in the entire complex (this was about 1pm). There's a...sandy beach with loungers, volley ball court, kids play area - all deserted. The riverside pool on a barge would be nice but charging 20zl (£4) per person per hour is ridiculous. Easy to see why it was deserted! Also rather pricey for drinks - whiskey & coke was around £5.50 - a cup of tea was 12zl (around £2.50) when everywhere else charges 7-9zl, also they charge an extra 3zl for a bit of milk for your tea! Need to start some promotions and discounts to get people in otherwise they won't survive - madness. On the plus side, salads were excellent and cost around 25zl. Can't say I'd bother going back though. Shame. Also rather telling there's only 1 other review on Trip Advisor!More

We went for dinner but many people just go for drinks, feet in the sand, enjoying the fantastic view on the river and the Wavel Hill. They even have a boat that acts as a swimming pool (but early June it was still empty). Charming...and efficient service. A vast menu (even a granny section!), well -presented plates. We were happily surprised that despite the great location we actually had quality food - you know how sometimes when it is too touristic, they just serve average food. But I guess that since it is just outside the Old Town, on the other side of the river, it must be mostly frequented by locals so they needs to cater to repeat business. The only minus is that the portion of penne (with cream herb sauce) with chicken was tiny while regular main courses had a regular size. And the onion rings, well only 5 medium ones seemed small too.More
