Each meal is a journey into the world of taste and each night ought to have its menu - this is the motto we live by. Therefore, we would like to invite you to join us on a culinary journey. Our Cooks wish to surprise you with a little deviation from the norm and not imposing a schematic choice of dishes. Piotr Tuźnik - head Chef His talent and hard work resulted in taking control over the Andromeda Alfa Restaurant, where as an independent chef he created his first, original menu. Winner of such competitions as L'Art de la cuisine Martell in 2013 and Arte Culinaria Italiana in 2017. In his meals, Piotr reaches for traditional Polish cuisine, which he values very much. At the same time, he pays great attention to the aesthetic of dishes.

Excellent restaurant

This restaurant is on the ground floor of the Galaxy Hotel. The service is excellent and the food was superb. The steak tartare is highly recommended, and the cheese platter is enormous! The wine was excellent. Could not fault this restaurant at all.

This was a slow evening, not many people in the restaurant. Food was really tasty but service was a little slow. They apologised for this without us mentioning and gave discount. Great service.

The food and the ambient are good , easy to get into it , by car or foot. I liked especially dessert . Different destination in Kracow ;-)

Blown away by the food here- beautifully cooked and presented. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere despite being small and intimate. Exceptional value for money and friendly waiters means we would 100% recommend and visit again. Thank you!

Great menu with an abundance of vegetarian alternatives.

I only tried this restaurant due to a late arrival into Hotel Galaxy, but I am glad I tried this restaurant. Not only was the menu huge, most meals came with a vegan or vegetarian alternative. The waiters kindly brought homemade bread and free appetizers of smoked fish. It looked delicious but I am not a fish eater so cannot comment on the taste. The risotto was well made and covered in veggies, the salad was also imaginative and delicious. I wasn’t expecting much but the restaurant was really cheap and served amazing food. Visited Galaxy hotel & Andromeda two years ago and was amazed. This time we stayed at Sheraton, but went for dinner to Andromeda to once again experiance the fantastic food. Beeing on the road for almost two weeks, visitning among others restaurants in Vienna at Ritz-Carlton & Sacher hotel nothing could compare to the magnificent tastes at Andromeda. When you enter the restaurant and look at the menu there is nothning that makes you aware you are just to taste one of the best meals you ever had :-) Ann-Katrin & Thomas

Staud at the hotel and as we arrived late we decided to eat in the restaurant the first night. The restaurant when you walk in looks clean but doesn't look anything like the food arriving the the table. I am glad we chose the restaurant as we ate there 4 out of the 5 nights in the hotel. Was lovely having 10% discount as hotel guest. The food was presented lovely and tasted as good as it looked. The staff were friendly a d think they recognised us after the first night as we received the discount each evening without having to ask or say anything. We had 5 out of the 6 or 7 mains and tried all deserts. There were all equally tasted. The presentation on the plate looked very 'master chef'. All food was cooked very well, specially loved the crispy skin on the duck. The prices were not bad either as we paid more for less tasty food in Krakow. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant is in Poland and wont be able to get there again any time soon.

Simply beautiful

We came here on our first night as it was the Restaurant in our Hotel then came again on our last night because we loved the food so much! The waiter's were very attentive and took great care of ensuring we had everything we needed and keeping our drinks topped up. Over the two nights we had the Corn Chicken, Codfish (I had this both times because it was so good!) and Salmon. We also tried the Polish Crepe and Mixed Lettuce Salad with Duck. On the last night we tried the Gorgonzola Cheese, Mascarpone Cheese, Chocolate Pastry and Beetroot Ice Cream dessert - it was amazing! Could not recommend Andromeda enough.

Tiny portions, terrible for vegetarians

Unfortunately there were little-to-no options here for a vegetarian. I ended up being able to adapt one of the dishes to make it vegetarian - but it was so small that I was still v. hungry after. The food itself was fine, but I had to go elsewhere and actually eat again! Avoid if you're a veggie - and order multiple mains if you want to be full.
