Walked past this restaurant many times, always crowded with people eating every night. Menu looked good so we came as drop in the next day. Lovely owner/boss lady. Traditional polish cusine. Amazing food. Good views while enjoying a local polish beer with some delicious pierogis.

Great restaurant located in the old town square. The entrance is off of the square in an alcove. The decor is fresh and inviting. I had the sauerkraut and smoked rib soup. Just what was need for the - 11 temp, smoky, hearty and very...tasty. The wild boar stew was amazing. Waiting staff were great, my eyes were bigger than my belly and she politely reined in my greed! The wife had smoked fried cheese which was really tasty. She had the pearl groats, a first for us but smoky and tasty and the sausage was rich. and flavoursome. Pics don't do it justice, a must visit!More

A very interesting restaurant serving traditional local food. My friends all tried the groats cooked in various ways and enjoyed them. I opted for blood sausage with roast potatoes. Service was friendly, house wine very palatable and prices reasonable.

We picked this restaurant based on the reviews, and we weren't disappointed. Ann was our server and was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. It was windy and cold out, so we all had some soup with our meals. Food was excellent, and the restaurant...had a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!More

We were sitting on the terrace and had a beautiful view. The female server was very friendly. The food was excellent and cheap. The same goes for the cocktails.

Tomatoe noodle soup was soup-er. Friendly staff, lots of sunshine, and great atmosphere. There are blankets about if you get chilly.

It all started with “Can you speak English” and she answered “Yep” I wanted to make a reservation outdoors for six at six thirty. The voice informed me that they do not take reservations for the outdoors but will keep an eye on a table...and will set up a table for six if necessary. When we arrived and gave our name, the person who responded was an attractive wait staff professional who set out immediately to insure that all of our needs were satisfied. She responded to our questions about the menu so very pleasantly and even recommended the dishes in which she thought each of us would be interested. And she was right. The food offerings at Dobre Kasza Nasza are superb. We sampled a significant portion of their menu and all of what we had from the game pate to a couple of Groat dishes to numerous main dishes were amazing. Oh! And I can’t forget the soups……especially the Kapusta soup, which was out of this world. Food quality is important but the face of the restaurant is the wait staff and Anya took ownership of her part in advancing the restaurant. She made us feel comfortable in the relaxed atmosphere of the Rynok. She was competent, fun and informed. I have travelled a relatively significant amount of time and am overjoyed when I find someone like Anya in any environment. The restaurant is lucky to have her.More

OUTRIGHT DEPLORABLE, DESPICABLE, AND VILE behavior of restaurant’s personnel. By a long shot the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. My wife and I dined in this place last Saturday. Everything was fine; the girl who served us on the outside patio was very pleasant and professional. Next...day, last Sunday, we decided to come to the place for early lunch. We got to the restaurant at about 11:50, and the place was just getting ready to open at noon. The waitress/hostess from the day before was just setting things up getting ready to start service. While waiting for the place to start service, my wife wanted to use the bathroom, which is located inside the building and requires walking down the long passageway within the building to the very back where the restaurant’s kitchen is located. My wife and I walked down the passageway and she walked into the open, single person bathroom. While we were walking down the hallway, a girl was walking behind us and as my wife walked into the bathroom, the girl walked into the restaurant’s kitchen. In about a half a minute I heard some commotion in the hallway where the bathroom was. As I looked into the hallway, I saw the girl who just walked into the kitchen knocking on the bathroom door where my wife was. I told her that someone was inside. The girl started screaming “We are close, we are close. Get out of the bathroom.” And proceeded to bang on the door. After about 5 seconds of screaming, the girl took out the keys and started to open the bathroom door. At this point, my wife, completely shocked by what was happening outside, opened the door. The girl immediately screamed at “Get out now.” The girl was genuinely enraged. My wife said to her that she is trying to put her pants on. The girl pointed her finger outside and said, “YOU CAN PUT YOUR PANTS ON OUTSIDE.” Suffice it to say that we did not stay for lunch at this place. We have traveled scores of countries and naturally stayed, dined, and patronaged hundreds of establishments that cater to public. BY FAR, THIS PLACE IS THE WORST and SIMPLY DANGEROUS for the customers.More

Maybe the only restaurant in Kraków with a typical kasza, very delicious food, various types (with meat but also vegetarian). Served with a sauce and salad. The atmosphere is beautiful, the interior of this place is amazing. A beautiful place. The price is higher than...normal in Kraków but it is worth it.More

Service poor, food not great We cane here for a late lunch. The service was slow towards the end, we were waiting nearly 30 minutes to pay for our meal. We had to go inside and loom for a member of staff twice. The starter...was really nice, froed potatoes with a dip. The dumplings were bland. I ordered the beef which was recommended by our server, the beef was tough and chewy, I couldn't finish it. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.More

Very nice place on main tourist route - on market square. We were sitting in small terrace outside overlooking whole square. Service was good, food quality as well, prices were just correct and in whole it was well matched price/quality balance. I was not fascinated...by the house speciality - "kasha" ( porridge ), but maybe just because we are used to it in this part of the world, I saw many foreigners enthusiasticly consuming it... Overall - recomended.More
