Booked this restaurant on a friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived there was a lovely atmosphere - bright, lit with candles and warm. The young guy who served us could not have been nicer. Helpful, but not obtrusive and...very friendly and professional. We were given some lovely goose pate with a small bread roll as a free appetiser, which was a really nice touch. For starter we shared the beef tartare with the quails egg - totally delicious. The beef was obviously of a high quality and melted in our mouths and the addition of finely chopped onion, gherkins and anchovies gave the dish an added piquancy. For mains we ordered the rabbit and the lamb shank. Both were served with lovely sauces, seasonal vegetables which still had a nice bite to them and some little herby gnocchi and mashed potato. Again absolutely delicious. I could have licked the plate! My husband finished with an espresso and I had the heavenly warm chocolate soufflé. A sharp raspberry sauce and minty sorbet/ice cream added a freshness to one of the best puddings I’ve had in a long time. We shared a bottle of Chilean merlot and my husband and had two beers. We were also given two free blackcurrant liquers with the bill. A meal of this quality would have cost double in the UK. A wonderful experience. If you go to Krakow, do try this restaurant.More
