A great restaurant for French food with modest prices for the food, however found some of the bottled wine quite expensive. We were looked after excellently by the staff who were friendly, gave advice when asked for it and who were very attentive. My personal...favourite: The beefsteak tartar! Would come back when next time visiting Krakow.More

We had the two vegetable starters, the snails, salmon and beef tongues. The chef must hav spender 1 kilo of butter and oil on all these dishes. I Dont remember having more oily think sauce in a restaurant. On the plus side was the cocking...of the salmon and of the tongues, even if the tongues were overcooked. The rest were disappointing as we chose the place cause it was on the Michelin list. Atmosphere was next to nothing. Like sitting at a canteen of a French sanatorium of the 30’s playing restaurant bootlegged dance music. The price was too high for what they offered. I would go again there.More

Visited restaurant on our last night in Krakow based on Lonely Planet recommendation and mainly positive reviews, but left feeling underwhelmed. We ordered the penne with rabbit (average) and the beef rump steak - chopped (this was actually a burger and so was very misleading...and also average). The service was also extremely slow. During our week in Krakow this was the the most expensive meal we had but also the worst. Overall, this restaurant is overpriced for the quality provided, would recommend you look elsewhere.More

We were invited for a dinner by our Cracow friends. Very high quality of food and wine, friendly and competent service, tasty, variety and uncommoon (in good sense) food. We only lack a car park, but its Cracow city center

Unfortunately I couldn’t check the food, we were forbidden to enter with a dog, we asked for water for the dog but were refused. Embarrasing, especially that we were ready to sit outside!More

My girlfriend and I had a lunch at Zakładka and we had some expectations. Generally, it was quite ok (the snails and the frog were good, sauce was great!) Service was professional, we appreciate to have many types of bread and also a surprise before...our starters which was delicious! But 2 weak points : - the white wine wasn't cold enough to have an optimal experience - unfortunately, when we ordered the meat, we weren't asked to choose how our it would be done (medium rare, rare, etc...) and also the fries weren't homemade which in such a restaurant was a disappointment. I can recommend for the experience. However not totally due to the explanation above.More

At the end of the millenium footbridge on the opposite bank to the Jewish quarter, we called in to this French-Polish-fusion restaurant on spec. We had a three-course eclectic meal, with wine, for two for less than £45. The French onion soup was a meal...in itself, let alone the tasty fusion chicken-based main course. Every dish was a delight. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ambience was warm and friendly on a cold February night.More

Extremely disappointing service & food !!! Staff is stuck up .. don’t care if you have an issue. Long story short. Our table orders two of the same dishes. Once piece of meat has about 70% lard fat and veins and basically no meat. Waiter...is so where in site.. and doesn’t once come and ask if everything is ok .. ( which would have avoided this entire situation ) so husband eats whats edible because he’s hungry !!!! Once waiter comes by and asks if we want the bill I mention that there was a problem with the dish .. he’s surprised I dare to speak “ but the meat is fatty “ Yes but not 70% of it !!!!!!! Huge fat lard on our plate He comes back with the bill. ZERO “ I’m sorry” nothing .... 😹 ... I try and sort this out by msg them on fb. A week goes by and they don’t bother getting back to me. After a few more messages .. I got offered coffee NEXT time. Yes because there will be a next time 🤷‍♀️More

A short walk from our hotel, we liked the look of this place and gave it a try. I’m really pleased we did - amazing food, great service and prices not much higher than many British chain outlets. Not one to be missed.
