Place is really great. I was born in Krakow and actually I found this place amazing. I can truly recommend this place if you want to find real polish food near Market Square.

Our third dinner in Krakow was excellent again. Service seems to be pretty slow in Krakow but otherwise the food was very good, I had the Bigos, mmmm. Someone in the group aslo had apple potato pancakes and they were delish!

Had lunch here on our last day before heading home. The menu had lots to choose from and I plumped for stuffed cabbage and partner chose a steak. The waiter was very polite and helpful, and suggested mashed potatoes with my dish and potato wedges for my partner. We enjoyed the complimentary bread with the traditional lard or cream cheese... We arrived in Krakow at 10pm so chose the first Polish restaurant we came across, I wish we'd stopped two steps earlier to kept going another 2 steps. It may have been choices we made, both had mushroom soup to start which smelled like feet and tasted greasy, for main I had a salad which was soaked through in balsamic... More

We dropped in for just a bowl of Zurek (typical Polish soup) and some dumplings as part of guide led food tour. They were wonderful. This restaurant has been voted the best restaurant for Zurek in Krakow and we weren't surprised - It was delicious. Although the restaurant name means 'peasant food' don't be deceived - it's really good! The... More

I've been to one of these restaurants before and had good childhood memories so decided to go back. BIG MISTAKE. This restaurant cuts corners at every chance they get. The gołabki or cabbage rolls were almost all rice, hardly any meat. Traditionally they are mostly meat. They are clearly trying to cut costs and are providing cheap horrible food which... More

The list of issues we had during our time at this restaurant is endless! I come from Poland and I can honestly say this is not a good example of traditional polish food, what they are doing at this restaurant is just shameful. Worst meal I've ever eaten. Tourists should expect much more from a restaurant. Any local would be... More

Decided to try some Polish/Hungarian food for a change. I had potato fritters served with Goulash and a side order of saurcraut which was pleasant but nothing to shout about and my wife had meat dumplings with boiled veg which she enjoyed. Meal was ok but the waiter was a real misery. Will not be going there again.

Being a typical Brit abroad and after 3 days of delicious Polish Cuisine i just had to have a rack of ribs which is what most Alpha Male Carnivores long for eventually. But they were tough, stringy and fatty but i guess i was hoping i was going to get them Planet Hollywood style, however i din't complain as the... More

Soup in bread wasn't amazing, but it may be a matter of taste. All the meat was just gorgeous though. The prices are somewhat high - the check was around 250 zl for 4 of us. The dishes are pretty big, we had to take leftovers in a box. We really liked the interior, it looks cozy and local.
