Lovely service and delicious food. I had turkey and cranberry my partner had fish zander both were delicious. The meals were huge, we couldn’t finish them. No need for salad on the plate. My only criticism is the vegtables were cold on both plates. £33...for 2 mains and 2 drinks. I had the cherry beer… lovelyMore

Went here for our one main meal of a quick trip away. Having been to the top-rated Old Town Restaurant and The Black Duck and after reading the reviews of this place, we decided to try. It is about a 20-25 min walk from the...main square. Disappointed with the food. Like most other reviews of this place it is quantity over quality here. The Duck was so dry and ove-rcooked and the chicken fillet was dry too. Both dishes need some sort of sauce. The restaurant itself is nice inside and very traditional and cannot fault the staff. Nice wine and beers on offer but I think there are better places to choose if you want traditional polish food.More

For our final night in Krakow, we looked for a better quality budget restaurant and Szynk fit the bill. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the service was good. After ordering, we were given two complimentary appetisers. We chose one starter of mushroom soup...which arrived in a bread bowl and was more than enough for the both of us. For our mains, we chose duck and beef cheeks. Both were massive potions. We sampled some drinks including two lech lime and mint, and a couple of ales. The total was 210zl (£39) which was excellent for the portions size and quality. I would recommend this restaurant and both dishes!More

a cozy restaurant, extremely friendly service and delicious food. The serving size is quite large if you use all of the appetizers, main dishes and desserts. The schabowy was delicious and not dry at all. Should visit

Went largely based on other reviews. Portions were large but the food was over cooked and dry. Ambience and staff were good.

Really high quality throughout! Service minded nice staff, the menu varied, and the dishes, delicious! Cooked with high quality ingredients, knowledge and love. Reasonable prices. However, the portions are really big, so for us who hate to waste food, please offer smaller portions! Not necessary...with small portion discount. We highly and warmly recommend this restaurantMore

We had exceptional family occasional dinner on Sunday afternoon. The service was exceptional and very polite. Food was very fresh and delicious. Portions are really big. Prices are reasonable and value the service provided. I really recommend this small, but very nice restaurant.

I ate here with my partner on the last evening of our holiday as we wanted to try some traditional polish food. The waiter that served us was lively and very accomadating. The restaurant inside is lovely. Very rustic and romantic. In terms of the...food we tried some things we had not had before. The polish dumplings were lovely. We also tried beef tatar which was a new experience for us. I had the pork chop for main with potatoes and my boyfriend the beef cheeks both were tasty. The waiter recommended some polish vodka shots for us tailoring each shot to our preference. My shot was slightly sweeter than my boyfriends. We are going back to Poland in December and will likely coist again. Lovely place and a must if you want to try traditional polish. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 large wines and 2 vodka shots cost us around £40. Bargin.More

We had an exceptional meal here on Friday night. We booked in advance using FB as there were six of us, had an almost instant reply. The food was really great, we shared dumplings as a starter and then a dejection of mains. I had...the goulash, the star of the show was the potato cake. Just wow!! Everybody really enjoyed their plates and sadly there was no room for pudding. All very reasonably priced, about £40 per couple which included alcoholic drinks.More

We had lunch in this restaurant and ordered a mixed pierogi plate, was absolutely fantastic. Also we had a plate with rolled stuffed beef served with dumplings and beetroot and was so delicious and portion really big. Prices are very reasonable for the super quality...of food. The gentleman served us was professional, kind and attentive, which is always very important. Best place is Krakow we tried. 5 stars for location, food and service!More

Tucked away in the northern part of the Jewish quarter, it is definitely worth a visit. The food was extremely tasty. We shared Camembert with a basket of bread for starters followed by trout and then apple pie and ice cream. A few beers and...vodkas accompanied it nicely. The staff were very attentive and we were very well looked after by Kacher (aka Kate). All at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend.More

This is a hidden gem. Located a bit off the main roads, but definitely worth the visit! It feels very cozy, the staff is super friendly and attentive. Portions are huge, but the food is so good you just can't stop eating. I loved my...duck and husband said he had the best potato pancake so far and we do order it quite often when in Poland. Definitely worth a visit!More
