Very good food and the portions were just right. The atmosphere was nice and the service good. The server had good knowledge of the different wine's.

Wonderful restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome from the start. Our waiter was very polite, attentive and helpful. He guided us through some Polish aperitifs and wine. Wonderful atmosphere and great food, with a good choice of meat and fish dishes and also...some vegeterian options. Best apple pie ever!More

I chose this restaurant because I wanted to taste traditional Polish cuisine. I ordered the pierogi with cottage cheese and the slow cooked beef. Both were superb. I went again on another day and had the goats cheese salad and the only main course fish...item on the menu. I preferred the beef to be honest. The items served with both main courses were a bit tepid, other than that everything tasted good and the service was also very good. Would like to visit again when back in Krakow.More

Lured by a Michelin recommendation and a promise of authentic Polish food, I was looking forward to dining at Kogel Mogel. I selected three dishes, two of which were touted as the restaurant's specialties. The first signature dish, goose liver pâté served with cherry gel,...hazelnut, Maldon salt, and caramelized brioche, was very good. However, the taste of hazelnuts did not come across enough, and the ratio of pâté to brioche was off. A few more slices or additional toast on the side would have enhanced the experience of the dish. The second signature dish, Dumplings with minced veal, chanterelle sauce, was fell short in flavor. Despite the beautiful presentation, the dish did not live to its promise. It lacked taste. The lamb loin served with smoked cauliflower purée and demi glace sauce was a mixed experience. The meat was a tad too salty and reminded me of the taste of processed canned pork and ham known as SPAM. However, the smoked cauliflower purée was a revelation and truly outstanding. When a purée outshines the meat in a Michelin-recommended restaurant, it suggests that there is a room for improvement.More

One of the best restaurants serving modern Polish cuisine. The food tasted absolutely amazing, especially homemade pierogi with mince veal. We have tried pierogi before with different fillings but these were by far the best we have had! If you like a good steak you...must try the beef tenderloin steak - it was cooked to perfection! Great meat quality too! The service was absolutely amazing! Our waiter was really attentive, nothing was too much to ask! We can truly recommend this place!More

Absolutely fantastic experience. Our waiter was lovely, very friendly, chatted to us about his stay in Warrington, and waved at us as we walked past the next day. The food was amazing, beautifully presented and delicious. Highly reccommend.

We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we returned for three evenings in a row. Pleasant service, food that is both classic and innovative, and a splendid setting.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and booked to celebrate a birthday. The food was nice, but nothing special. The wine list was extortionate. This is a venue for wining and dining business clients rather than a night out for couples. The waiting staff...were inattentive and could be seen behind scenes eating and chatting rather than looking after diners. We had much better meals for half the price.More

First time ever in Krakow, and this restaurant was recommended to us to visit. We arrived without a reservation, and the staff were wonderful - they went out of their way to find us a table and make us feel very welcome .... excellent start....The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable, very very relaxing and such a wonderful atmosphere...we liked it from the beginning... Our waiter was a young man called Sebastian, and he was excellent. He helped us decide what to order ( my husband really likes to embrace the culture and foods of the country we are in) - he advised us on what wine to order and what is popular in Poland... my husband loved the pierogi -thank you Sebastian, I have no doubt your advise will be the reason we will come back again. All in all, an excellent restaurant...we hope to come back very soon in the new year..More

One of the finer restaurants in Old Town Krakow and would thoroughly recommend. Booking ahead is wise, it gets busy and we couldn’t get a table on our first night. Menu, while not huge is good and quality is excellent. Service is equally good. Would...thoroughly recommend.More

Beautiful restaurant that is absolutely huge once you get inside. Each dining area is decorated slightly differently but all were beautiful. We came here on recommendation of our hotel and were not disappointed! The food is delicious and it's clear to see why it's been...mentioned in the Michelin Guide. We 100% recommend eating here.More

Extremely helpful waiter. Couldn’t decide between the dishes and he offered to split them all so we could both experience their polish delights. Beetroot soup was excellent. Cabbage rolls were my best choice and the pierogi was excellent. After puddings we left stuffed ready for...the snowy Xmas market in krakow. Food experience was excellent but the waiter made it perfect. So glad we wentMore
