Great płace to chill and to organise a party! The staff is helpful and professional so it’s a great spot for birthday, wedding and others.

Great place,nice and cool on a hot day,brilliant lunch break on the river. Very quick and professional service. We enjoyed our meal near the padlock bridge and Kazimierz.

We've stumbled upon BARKA about a year and a half ago when we were walking along the coast of Vistula river at night. Our attention grabbed a really happy and young pair of people greating their family and friends to their wedding reception. The lights,...water and the restaurant itself were creating a vision of free and relaxing party for everyone. Their happines was almost mesmerising to the point were we stopped and enjoyed this moment with them for a second. From this day forth we knew exactly where OUR wedding reception is going to take place. Fast forward almost a year later we started planning our most important moment in life. Even though the situation wasn't perfect due to the outbreak of THE virus the manager was very supportive and everone involved was on-board from the very beggining. The food was tremendously good. We dare to say it was a Michelin-good cuisine. Service was spot on and very "responsive" to the current situation. The overall rate of BARKA is best discribed by the fact that despite that it was a totally diferent wedding expirience for our family than usual they all had a really great time. The brides mother that was so negative about the fact that by-passers could see us dancing but got so relaxed so quick that she forgot about that in about an hour after the whole party barely started and was hitting the dance floor located at main deck like there was no tomorrow. So unique place; located in the best part of Krakow! Kazimierz ! You can have a nice party here or u can have a romantic evening. It's cheapest from all boast which docked around .

I was there with a group of friends, waiting for the drinks was taking half an hour, even for a beer. Waiters are clueless and rude, they are not noting anything and dont know how much time is food gonna take to arive. They confuse...orders as well. When eventually the food arrives it is decent but the portions are small. I wouldnt recommed this place to anyone.More

Restauracja Barka is a stunning restaurant and bar housed on a boat on the beautiful River Vistula by the magnificent Father Bernatek Footbridge ,it's a place I always tend to visit as it's such a cool place. I love the look of this restaurant, walking...down into the main room it's been beautifully converted to be a very cool looking restaurant and bar, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar, up top there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this restaurant looking out over the river to the Podgorze district, it really is a superb restaurant and bar. My twin brother Stephen and I had been pub and bar hopping around the Podgorze district, we were crossing over Father Bernatek Footbridge over to the Kazimierz district and decided to drop into this restaurant for a quick drink,greeted by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a beer each,beers were served iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great restaurant we were in. It was so good enjoying a beer in here,I really enjoy the local brews and this beer was just so refreshing, on this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were only here for drinks but I have ate here on numerous occasions over the years and the meals are superb, proper local cuisine tasty and filling. After our beers we decided to have one more drink ,we chose a flavoured vodka each and went for apricot vodka, this delicious strong but sweet vodka was the perfect end to our visit. We moved on after our delicious drinks and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Restauracja Barka is easy to locate on Podgorska/ Bulwar Kurlandzki . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, Open from Midday. A superb restaurant and bar and well worth checking out.More

Very relaxing place, especially in summer when you can sit on the upper deck and sip tasty cocktails watching the old Podgorze. But also in winter you can hide inside with a good beer or bite some food and enjoy the river.

Turned up without booking and although busy we were lucky to get a table for 4. We wanted to sample Polish food and we weren't disappointed. The service was great and the food even better.

My twin brother Stephen and I had just been over to the very interesting Podgorze district were we had took in the sites of this historically important district of Krakow,we had been to a few bars and cafes and as we were walking over Bernatek...Footbridge ( lovers Bridge ) we decided to drop into a couple of the boat restaurants moored Kazimierz district side of the River and Barka was the first we visited. On a roasting hot day it was so nice sitting on the deck of this boat were a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a couple of beers and we opted to have Litoval beer and after a short wait our beers arrived and they were served freezing cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the stunning views afforded from the deck of the beautiful River Vistula. This is a restaurant we have been to on a couple of occasions,the decor and furnishings are superb and at night when it's all lit up it looks awesome. Our beers were really delicious and we savoured every drop before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Barka is really easy to locate on Bulwark Kurzabdzki Podgorska. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,Midday till 11pm. A cool restaurant and bar and well worth checking out.More

We were exploring Krakow on foot and heading to the former Jewish Ghetto area, when the sky darkened ominously and the rain began to pour! We had two option for shelter, a road side cafe or Barka, a moored barged. We choose the latter and...are so pleased that we did. We choose an upper deck central table ( to avoid the rain blowing in from the sides!) and we're offered a menu. The menu wasn't extensive but was good. We weren't actually looking to eat, but choose a beetroot and goats cheese salad to share, along with a beer and a glass of wine. Our drinks arrived quickly , together with a complimentary amuse-bouche as pictured below. It was delicious! Unfortunately I didn't photograph the 'main event', one of the most divine salads I have ever eaten. It was simply gorgeous! Wish we had been in Krakow longer, as we would definitely have returned.More

Decided to have a beer on the boat , good views , nice atmosphere , we had already eaten so can't comment on the food , the drinks are average prices for neighboring pubs , what I would say though is the barman who served...me lacked any sort of manners , no one else at the bar n he just stared past me , eventually serving me my cider and beer , no glass or ice offered for the cider , I had to ask , I'll go to the boat next door on my next visitMore
