We'd been invited to a wedding in Kraków and decided to tag on an extra day to our trip specifically to visit Amaryllis. Having visited before and loved it, we were hoping for a similar experience, and it did not disappoint. We'd chosen to book the 6 course tasting dinner. It was actually 10 courses (including amuse-bouches etc), with each as carefully thought out as the last. Our waitress (I believe Anna), asked if we had any food preferences and we asked if my husband could avoid mushrooms. The chef was extremely accommodating and you would never have known the alternatives given were not part of the standard menu.
I particularly loved the wild boar dish, as well as the mushroom dish, and the petit fours. We were absolutely stuffed at the end!
The whole experience was that of excellence, from the incredible service (our waitress spoke perfect English and was incredibly engaging), to the perfect atmosphere and sublime food. It is definitely in our top three restaurants we've ever visited, if not the top.
Whilst it is an expensive place to eat in Poland, for us Brits, I think it was very good value, with our whole bill including a glass of champagne and two cocktails was £215.
A very memorable evening and we will definitely be back!

Dear Beckie,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for sharing your experience with us! It was an absolute pleasure to welcome you back to Amaryllis, and we’re delighted to hear that your evening lived up to your expectations.
We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the 6-course tasting menu (and the little surprises along the way!) and that we could accommodate your husband’s preferences seamlessly. It’s fantastic to hear that the wild boar dish, mushroom course, and petit fours were standouts for you – our chef and kitchen team will be overjoyed to know their efforts were so appreciated.
Anna will be especially touched by your kind words about her service. We pride ourselves on creating an unforgettable experience for every guest, and it’s so rewarding to know that the combination of exceptional food, a warm atmosphere, and attentive service made your evening so memorable.
Thank you also for recognizing the value of the experience. We can’t wait to welcome you back next time you visit Kraków!

Staying in the hotel above, we booked for a dinner with a 4-course tasting menu (actually 8, as you add 4 little thoughts of the chef). Excellent dinner, food presented in a spectacular way and excellent combinations of tastes, friendly and attentive waiters, explain the dishes and wines expertly. Definitely worth trying if you are in Krakow!

Amarylis is a fantastic fine dining experience with all the theatre and quality cuisine you'd expect from a high class restaurant. The service staff are incredibly polished, but manage to be down-to-earth and approachable at the same time. The décor is chic, but not too fancy. But best of all, the standard of food was exceptional. It is clear how they achieve this level - the menu is small and that keeps high standards manageable. It is also no bad thing as the handful of options were brilliant. My partner is allergic to gluten and dairy and they were incredibly flexible, probably one of the best restaurants for allergens we have been to. Her starter was one of the most delicious she had ever had since becoming aware of her intolerances. The sommelier choices for wine pairings were also exquisite and involved a chat about what we liked - a very engaging experience overall that really elevated the meal.
Bottom line ... this is a brilliant location for a fine dining couples meal or a special occasion. Absolutely top-notch!!

We're delighted that you and your partner found the flexibility of our menu and our attention to allergens accommodating. Ensuring that every guest can fully enjoy their meal is a top priority for us, so it's wonderful to hear that her starter was such a memorable highlight.
Our team, including our sommelier, is dedicated to creating a personalized and engaging experience, and we're excited that our wine pairings enhanced your evening. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we’re so pleased that the setting and service contributed to a special occasion for you both.

The food was well presented, but the taste didn’t quite match. The staff were polite, professional, and helpful. However, the overall ambiance was lacking, and we felt pressured by the hard sell on the wine and added extras, by the staff continually asking if we wanted them. I think it would have been nice to have had a wine list left with us to peruse at our leisure. This took away from the experience. Having dined at Michelin-starred restaurants for only a little more price wise and much better quality food, this felt significantly overpriced. A few of the dishes were beautiful but others were just impressive on presentation. To top it off, a large tip was added automatically, which didn’t feel justified. Unfortunately, we left feeling that the experience didn’t match the high cost.

Excellent dining experience in cosy and elegant place.
The service is professional, attentive and friendly.
We have chosen 4-course tasting menu. All dishes had interesting flavour combinations, the taste was very delicate and the quality of products was very high.
Wine list offered a nice range of different wines per glass, including organic and local Polish wines, the bottle of wine was presented before the wine has been poured.
We enjoyed also the live piano music on Saturday evening.
We would like to express our gratitude to the chef and his team. The chef demonstrates the real mastery of cooking dishes.
We think that Amarylis restaurant is the best Michelin guide experience so far, an absolute gastronomic delight.
We definitely recommend Amarylis restaurant and can’t wait to go back.

We went here for our anniversary.
A nice restaurant though lacking in atmosphere - though this was a Tuesday night and more or less empty.
The service was lovely and the food generally good
We had a vegetarian and a standard menu .
My issue with vegetarian tasting menus is when you get the same dish as what the other person has, but with the meat removed and not replaced with something!
How is this reasonable to expect a customer to be happy recieving that and also paying exactly the same?
The wine I found to be too expensive. We asked to be recommended a bottle of polish wine which was ok , but we paid over £140 for two bottles of wine , which is just too much for me
I think all the wine was £60 plus.
Unless you're a real wine connoisseur, to get a nice wine to enjoy a meal with you should be able to provide bottles less expensive than this
We have done several tasting menus from Michelin recommended to Michelin star and rarely have paid more than £50 with most restaurants having numerous bottles at £40.
Bare this in mind if you like a few glasses of wine with your meal.

Thank you very much for your feedback and for choosing our restaurant to celebrate your anniversary. We truly appreciate hearing about our guests’ experiences, as it helps us to continuously improve.
We strive to accommodate all guest requests, and creating a vegetarian menu—though not our usual standard offering—is one way we aim to be flexible. We’re sorry to hear that you felt our vegetarian menu was simply a meatless version of the standard dishes. However, we would like to clarify that our vegetarian tasting menu includes unique dishes specifically crafted for vegetarians, not just standard items with the meat removed. We remember that evening well, and can confirm that, apart from one shared dish, the vegetarian options were distinctly different, with a generous array of accompaniments and flavors designed to offer a fulfilling experience.
Regarding wine pricing, we do offer bottles starting at £38, alongside premium selections that reach several hundred pounds. We ensure that our wine list is available for guests to review, and our servers are always happy to provide pricing details and help find options that fit each guest’s preferences and budget.
We hope you’ll give us another chance in the future and allow us to provide an experience that fully meets your expectations. Thank you again for your valuable comments.

We visited Amarylis for dinner as two couples when staying at Queen Boutique Hotel for a four day city break.
This is a top class restaurant serving Michelin quality food and drink so you must expect a price to match. Even so, our group all agreed that the evening provided great value for money.
The menu reflects a mix of international and Polish cuisine match with beautiful wines. We chose the a la carte over the taster menu options, but were equally satisfied.
Staff were attentive and efficient.
In conclusion, a special evening in a special trip.

We had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic 6-course tasting menu at Amarylis Restaurant in Queen Boutique Hotel in Krakow, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. We were nine guests with high expectations for the evening, and every detail was delivered to perfection.
The service was welcoming, professional and attentive without appearing intrusive. The servings came at a pace that kept the evening going, but without feeling too fast – a perfect balance between relaxation and excitement for the next dish.
The food was a true taste trip, where each dish presented a new and exciting combination of flavors and textures. It was clear that the raw materials and flavor compositions of the season were considered. The selected wines were excellent and matched the dishes in a way that really lifted the whole experience.
The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, making the evening even more memorable. Amarylis Restaurant was really the touch of the i on our extended Christmas weekend in Krakow – a city worth a visit in itself with its charm and history.
We highly recommend a visit to Amarylis Restaurant and their tasting menu. It’s an experience you can’t fool yourself for if you want a culinary evening in the heart of Krakow.

Fantastic 6 course menu with wine menu. Exciting compositions and beautifully arranged. The wine was an interesting choice, which will probably divide the waters, but they all went perfectly with the individual dishes.
In addition to the 6 dishes, we got 4 smaller dishes, so remember NOT to eat from home!!
The service was very professional with knowledgeable information, as you would expect at a Michelin restaurant, but there was also room for a little personality,

We were staying at the hotel and after checking out the restaurant on Trip Advisor we were blown away by the positive reviews and this being within our hotel.
We were not disappointed by the food which was delicious. Both me and my partner had different favourites from the menu which is always a great sign and the wine pairing was spot on. As always with a tasting menu there was a couple of things not to taste (mandarin veal) but that is the fun with this experience as you get to try things you wouldn’t normally. Our waitress was personal, knowledgeable and always had a smile which was nice to add to the experience.
A favourite of mine was the trout and both the pre desert and desert were delicious.
However a star has to be knocked off for the seating. When we went in there was two other couples in the restaurant and at least multiple spare tables. We were sat less than a metre from another couple. Didn’t think much of this when we first sat down but it quickly became apparent that the restaurant was extremely quiet and we could hear every word the other couple were saying and no doubt for them us too. In fairness they seemed like a very nice couple but I felt like I was sharing a table with them and it killed the mood somewhat.
Further to this every meal/drink was explained to them by the waitress and then they would do the same for us but mere seconds afterwards and it
all felt a bit silly when you had just heard it.
I feel this experience could have been a 5 star one with a little more attention to detail given to the seating. I appreciate having customers sat next to each other is easier for the waiters but in this instant it went against the customer experience. I would encourage any couple thinking of going here to keep this in mind when they go to sit and ask for a table with space between others if possible.
Otherwise the food was great and would recommend this highly as a place to eat but the experience could have been made excellent by simply sitting customers a little further apart.

It was my 3rd dinner at Amarylis and I found it even better than last time. We got the 6-course tasting with extra caviar, and every dish was "like a painting in the mouth". I cannot recommend more a restaurant: you won't be disappointed. Great and careful service (nice touch: a cloche was discreetely put on his dish when a guest went out for 5'), right timing between each course, amazing quality of the ingredients, composition and presentation.
I disagree with the review complaining about the "lack of food theater experience": no emphasis, no arrogance and a sort of "proud understatement" is what great restaurants are.
Regarding food, I fondly remember the masterful mushroom composition, the genius sander fish with oxtail broth, the soft wild boar marinated for 5 days and cooked for 16 hours, the multilayered dessert and the amazing amuse-bouche ... Great chef, whom we called and congratulated at the end.
Please Amarylis don't change and we will be back many more times (despite we live
1,200 km afar).

We're truly honored that Amarylis is in your World’s Top 5, and we're thrilled that your third visit exceeded your expectations. It’s wonderful to know that your dinner, as well as the attention to detail in service, made such a lasting impression.
We are so glad you appreciated the quality, presentation, and timing of the dishes. Your kind words about the mushroom composition, the sander fish with oxtail broth, and the wild boar are especially meaningful to our chef and the entire team—thank you for taking the time to recognize the craftsmanship behind the meal.
We wholeheartedly agree with your thoughts on food theater—it's all about creating an understated, yet memorable experience, and we're so pleased you felt that.
You will always be warmly welcomed at Amarylis, and we would love for you to consider making future reservations directly with us. Your continued support means the world to us, and we look forward to seeing you again, no matter the distance. Thank you again for your kind words and loyalty! The pictures of the restaurant do not do it justice, it's a beautiful light and airy space, with a buzzy but never noisy atmosphere.
We came for dinner just before new year's eves 2023 and had the 6 course tasting menu with the paired wine. The food was sensational; every course was a work of art. For me the rabbit was the highlight, but the kitchen never put a foot wrong. We went for the caviar as well which was a lovely start to the meal. The service was impeccable from start to finish, but special praise has to go to the sommelier for his charm as well as his excellent wine selection.
What I don't understand is 1. How are they doing this for less than £200 per head? and 2. Why don't they already have at least 1 star? We're fortunate to have eaten at several 2 star restaurants, and I would choose Amarylis over most of them. We will be back in June, and I am very excited to experience it again.

A very special restaurant. It is located in the Queen boutique hotel. There is a choice between 4 servings and 6 servings. The service is at a very high level, the presentation is very aesthetic and there is an explanation for each dish. The waitress is kind and knowledgeable. The dishes are special, delicious and beautiful. I have sat in many restaurants in my life but the flavors here were very special. A rare combination of raw materials and a wonderful taste.

This restaurant essentially offers two menus, one with 4 courses, the other with 6 (the latter includes the dishes from the 4-course menu + 2 others).
In practice, the 4-course menu offers 8, with the amuse-bouche, the intermezzo, the pre-dessert and the petits fours.
The dinner began with an appetizer, certainly very well presented, but which was not up to the level of what was to follow and which was also not likely to whet the taste buds: a sort of foie gras mousse. on bread, very filling. Fortunately, what followed was remarkable: first the trout with chard and bergamot, then an exceptional sea bass with asparagus with a Hollandaise sauce: the fish was remarkable in quality and cooking and the asparagus, very fine, was both cooked at perfection and very well seasoned: a dish worth two Michelin stars; after the intermezzo, very well cooked thinly sliced beef, with a light pepper sauce and vegetables again seasoned with precision; the quality of the meat could have been better; the pre-dessert is a beautiful creation, both in taste and presentation; again, one would be hard-pressed to find better in many of the best restaurants; as for the dessert itself (peach, sea buckthorn, zabaglione), it was beautiful and good. We could have done without the petit fours, not quite up to the level of what came before.
All in all, an excellent dinner with quite exceptional value for money, a little tarnished however by the billing for drinks: for 2 glasses of South African red wine (a good shiraz, by the way) and water, we It cost 260 PLN (60 euros), which seems very excessive when the menu itself costs 330 PLN. Given the remarkable quality of this cuisine and its reasonable price, this is a form of catching up which does not seem to be good policy.
