We booked Amarylis for our date night based off a friends recommendation, I can confirm it is worth the visit. Its a little on the pricey side but the staff were extremely proffesional and created the luxury dining experience. The restraunt itself was asthetic and...the background music was just right to create the perfect romantic atmosphere! Perfect for a couples nights out.More

I had the 6 course tasting menu and the wine selection. There are 6 courses, but many complements are served between each course, so if you eat a lot like me, don't worry! I was told that the menu is seasonal, so I'm describing my...experience I had in September 2021. - Food: Spectacular! Each course is a different experience, you have the delicate, the smoky flavour, the fish, the beef, the desserts... All dishes are very well arranged and full of flavour. The highlights for me are the turbot dish, it tastes like Poland, the fish, the cabbage with cream, the seasoning, it all reminds me of day to day Polish food. The rabbit is delicious, although it is premade, it has a nice smoked flavour and with a funny thematic into the dish with carrots in different forms and textures. Those who like desserts will love the menu, specially the mystery box in the end. - Wine: A dangerous choice of wine (only one red wine), but it all made sense with the dishes served. They used mostly local wines so it's guaranteed to be a unique experience. The host explained well each wine and I cannot imagine having these courses with a different selection as they complemented each dish perfectly. Your experience will be 50% less enjoyable with you order a coke or a boring red wine. If you go, you have to also order the wine selection. - Service: It was amazing! Despite being not well dressed for the occasion (shirt and jeans, with hiking boots and a heavy metal hair style) I was very well treated. I went alone, I spent 3h there and I never felt bored, the timings were perfect, the wine arrives just before the dishes, I had always something to eat or drink at the table. All dishes and wines are well explained and he makes sure you are getting all the attention you need during your stay. - Ambient: The restaurant is bellow the ground floor of the hotel, but has plenty of space and everything looks both formal and modern. A pianist was playing during the dinner, and I feel that like me, other guests were also enjoying the music as I heard people singing softly at their tables :) - Price: I spent 3h and I left totally full and happy :) I paid in total 680 PLN including the wine selection, service and extras like expresso and extra drinks. It totally worth it. And it is a lot cheaper compared to other fine dinning restaurants with similar quality. My experience was a 2 Michelin star, I would definitely get a train to Kraków just to go to this restaurant again.More

The 6 course tasting menu was to die for: perfectly balanced food flavours combined with original wine selections that were eye (or rather taste but) opening. Every plate was superbly dressed and looked like a beautiful painting. All of this combined with top notch service...made this the perfect dining experience.More

Amazing food. We had wonderful steak and lamb, perhaps touch underseasoned. Local cheese board was excellent as was a chocolate pudding. Staff are warm and knowlegeable, particularly about wines. We were treated with a small wine tasting at the begining of the meal. Setting is...very elegant. Fantastic place that deserves Michellin star!More

Great service and food presentation, the flavors were amazing, the soup of cheese and apple is one of the best ones I’ve had, only thing that would help is to have more vegetarian options, everything was delightful! Thank you for a great night.

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? My friend and I are both Australian, working in Europe. I’m based in London, UK, she is based in Dresden, Germany. When she offered me the opportunity to visit Krakow, I didn’t know much about it, but...hey, I’ll try anything once. Plus, I rarely get to see her. Girls’ road trip, don’t mind if I do. We stumbled across this restaurant when we looked at “fine dining” experiences on Trip Advisor. We compared the menu of a few different recommended establishments, but my friend was sold on the pork belly main. We arrived early, were seated without hesitation, and were offered water and an aperitif as soon as we sat down. Our waiter Tomasz was charming, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating from the get go. He was able to explain each of the dishes in detail, and recommended wines to accompany each one. As well as the dishes we ordered, we were provided with house-baked bread (complete with local history), a delectable amouse-bouche (chef’s choice) and to complete the meal, a wild berry liqueur crafted by the head chef himself. We never sat with empty glasses or plates for long, as Tomasz was attentive to our every need. An important factor in times of Corona, the restaurant was committed to keeping staff and guests safe with hand sanitiser, and masks and fine cotton gloves for wait staff. I don’t think I’ve ever found myself in a dining situation such as this one. The food and drinks were both exquisite, the decor was warm and very appealing, and honestly, I got a little bit emotional about how much I enjoyed this experience. I cannot recommend Amarylis Restaurant enough. Visiting Krakow without visiting this restaurant would truly be a waste of time. I’ll be sure to return to this beautiful city, even if only to dine here again.More

We had dinner with friends at Amarylis end of July 2020. It has been one of the best dinners ever. The service was impeccable, led by Przemysław (Przemek) who showed a genuine passion for his job. Przemek took time to describe in details the wines...and dishes and added to the experience with valuable advice on the best Polish and Czech wines. We had some excellent Polish biodynamic Orange wine (Winnica Wieliczka Jantar pinot noir in white), a very aromatic czech Virgo pinot noir, again in white to finish with an excellent Tokaji Furmint Késői. Regarding food, everyone was enthusiastic about their dishes, from starters to desserts. Both the ingredients, taste and presentation were superb and showed great passion and professionalism: it's haute cuisine at a reasonable price! I can wholeheartedly recommend Amarylis Krakow as one of the best restaurants in Europe to my knowledge.More
