We ate here in the covered outdoor area on our first night in Krakow and really enjoyed the meal and the service. So we returned twice more during our stay, each time being recognised and greeted. The menu was a mix of local and Italian, and the food was plentiful and tasty. Good value for decent grub :)

In the parade of shops of the east side of the Main Markey square. That s about a 100 meters or so just south of St. Mary’s Bassilica you will find the restaurant known simply as No. 7. On entering we were offered a choice of the courtyard area or the basement. We chose to go downs the steps into a large vaulted area that made a nice atmospheric setting for dinner. The cuisine is Polish and the selection on the menu has rather nice selection of dishes.. We chose for main course Pork loin in Forest mushroom sauce. The dish was excellent and the service was very efficient and friendly. The evening was nice and pleasant and we were very happy with our dinner at No. 7.

Set among the extensive restaurant choice in Krakow Main Square - the menu appealed, local food, sat outside amidst the heaters on this cool evening. Friendly, helpful staff, had the beef cheek and a chicken dish for mains, cheesecake and pancakes for dessert, slightly smaller portions than some other Polish restaurants but plenty big enough. A bit more fine dining than some of the other restaurants we tried - very nice. Thoroughly recommend.

The pasta is overcooked. Too much rocket and parsley in the pasta with garlic, oil and chilli pepper. Bigos good. But that's not what lowers the rating. When you pay you will find a receipt with the price of the card, but they will charge you an additional 10% service charge. On the card you can't find any information that you have to pay 10% service, not even on the receipt. The waiters force you to pay the tip to them. Something never encountered until today anywhere in the world. Tipping must be my choice and not an obligation of the waitresses. Verhogna

Recruited by the maitre d' as I passed by, I decided to try the place. Since it was cold outside I preferred to dine inside. After a staircase that leads to a sort of cellar, a charming room opens up with vaults and stone walls. The furnishings are very sober and simple. Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant offers a mix of dishes from different cuisines but, here I wanted to try traditional cuisine. All really delicious. From appetizer to dessert. The portions are even too exaggerated 😁 . Definitely high quality/price ratio.

No 7 Restaurant in Krakow has both tables on the main city square, and in a small inside courtyard. I dined in the courtyard, and I had "Kotlet Schabowy, kapusta zasmażana, pieczone ziemniaki" (Pork chop, fried cabbage and baked potatoes). Food was very good, with big servings; service was also very good, and prices were medium.

The biggest challenge is finding the restaurant entrance. First through a hallway, then down to the basement. The spacious restaurant has an impressive number of seats. Three buses could easily be fed here at once. The food and wine menu are laminated, which means: set in stone. We started with the duck liver pate on a bed of rocket. The production date is believed to be early October 2023! After that, the "chef's soup". It's amazing what the chef puts into the broth. Beef, beetroot, boiled broad beans, carrots and a lot of other things from the vegetable stand at the weekly market. Not bad, Mr. Specht! Unfortunately, he completely forgot to season it. So we don't remember the chef's soup very well because of its blandness. The same goes for the stuffed chicken breast with potato dumplings. The filling, the cheese that tasted of absolutely nothing and the potato dumplings that were prepared without much care in terms of seasoning certainly didn't make us jump for joy. CONCLUSION: We don't need anything like that anymore!

My Son, Wife and I ate here on our last day in Krakow. It was raining so we went into the cellar like internal part of the restaurant. You can also sit outside in the Old Town Square. I had a grilled Chicken fillet stuffed with cheese and ham that came with "farmers potatoes" which were small fried potatoes and a local Wheat beer. My wife has a breaded pork chop and my son had a steak. The food was very tasty, the service was very good and as everywhere in Krakow the price is very good compared with UK prices. Overall it is a restaurant I would recommend.

Even though the menu is somewhat limited there was enough options. The food we had was excellent and portion sizes were good, at £34 for food and a couple drinks it was good value. The staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend

Super cozy basement but chairs and tables one by being extinct, and the drinks were with shared success. Ordered a Tatar that was excellent, but senet and bulky. The main dish with duck was unmarked, although the potato dumpings served to quickly become vamle st eat, and the other main dish with pork mustard and mushroom sauce, had the same potato dumplings, but half of the dish was a massive rise of fine beets, so they should rename the dish.

Very friendly, polite staff but...the food was a disappointment. The grilled cauliflower dish was just passable. The beefburger was a failure: Minced meat rather dry and poor in taste; while the burger contained many things, i.e. pickled cucumber, bacon, cheese, mayonnaise, fried onion, barbeque sauce, the end result was a characterless mix-up. The chips were not warm enough and obviously pre-fried, like you get them in a common fast-food place. The mizeria was just a few slices of chopped cucumber 'sprinkled' with a little bit of thin, tasteless yoghurt. Much below one's expectations. Inexpensive, but not good value for money.

We stopped by here for lunch and I’m glad we did! We had the sour rye soup and sauerkraut and meat stew and they were quite tasty. I had a mulled wine that was spot on! The staff was very friendly and the food isn’t over priced. I recommend No7 for lunch!

Was in krakow with my husband for a few days and was walking along and came across No 7 restaurant. We sat down and was welcomed by a male waiter which was very friendly. I ordered the Fish soup which was beautifull very tasty then had the Prawn Tagliatelle wish was very nice indeed. My husband had the vegetable broth he said was very nice tasty then he had Sirloin Steak which was just ok not very filling, then had the cheesecake with Raspberry mouse he said was just ok a bit different from the uk. Would definitely eat here again if every in krakow.

Don’t over think it, just book a table here! Great menu, well and priced and terrific service. No 7 was the perfect place for us, right on the square where we could sit outside but stay cosy and warm with heaters and blankets (on every chair). The menu was great, lots of regional dishes. We ate way too much because we wanted to try lots of things so we didn’t have room for dessert but Im sure it would have been delicious. The service was also fantastic, very friendly without being over the top. 100% recommend.
