Waiting staff seemed embarrassed of the kitchens behaviour. Never have I been anywhere and treated so rudely. Food was as mentioned in a previous review salty and tasteless. Is this place still open??

Let’s start with the positive things first. The waiters and their service were superb and nothing to complain at all. Very friendly and attentive. That was definitely star level and equal to Haute Cuisine expectations. Moreover I had the impression that the wine list was...very good. Indeed we got a very good french wine. Now I unfortunately have to mention the worst experience regarding high kitchen which I probably ever have made and trust me I am very familiar with star kitchen across the globe. The food. Luckily we just chose the 5 course menu. Firstly what I found irritating was that several pieces of the menu contained organs like kidneys, pancreas, etc. I have fully respect to the polish kitchen but I expect at least a heads up with this information before ordering it. While we placed our order I requested that the pigeon could be changed to something else. They confirmed and said I am going to get veal instead. After some time the waiter came up and mentioned that veal is not anymore possible and if cod would be also ok. I agreed. As the course started everything which was brought to the table was taste wise far away from delicious. Either it was too salty or too bitter or even there was no taste. While having the, especially for polish standards, highly expensive dinner the frustration kicked in and grew further. The peak was reached when the ice cream desert with a strong cheese / onion taste was served. It reminded me to my childhood when I had cheap onion rings during school times within seconds. To sum up I am still struggling in order to find out what happened. Was it just a really bad day of the Chef or did he already resign to create tasteful food on high level? Because as mentioned before. This has 100 % nothing to do with high kitchen or any food experience at all. A combination of very salty (especially the cod, red snapper, sauce of the mussels) and bitter and of course tasteless for the instance the fatty desert donuts or the over spiced with clove Baklava. If there was not mayor accident yesterday I can just warn you visit this not value for money place! There are much better restaurants for even less money available.More

The food in general is definitely above average for Kraków and the service is very good. You can only order fixed price menus - 5,7 or 9 courses. We ordered a 5 course menu with pairing wines. My husband has a cheese allergy so we...asked (when ordering) if the dessert that included Parmesan cheese could be replaced by something else. Yes, that was possible - for 60 PLN more... when we refused to pay, the dessert was still anyway served (and not touched). Conclusion: you can eat as good in Kraków for the half of the money. The customer orientation is not there and that’s a pity - as regular restaurant visitors in Kraków we will definite not come back to this place.More

This was a return visit and what a change. Only tasting menus available. Food was good and imaginative, but not necessarily always to our taste (onion ice-cream?), excellently presented on a wide range of attractive bowls/plates. Staff attentive. Downside-Friday night only 3 tables occupied. No...pianist.More

Based on a very nice visit a year ago to this place we returned with high expectations. They were partly met but first we noted that contrary to last year when all tables were occupied this time there were only a few guests. Secondly only...tasting menus were offered. If 5-9 courses plus amuse bouche is not what you fancy this is a negative. Excellent service but rather expensive and doubtful value for money.More

Beautiful restaurant, superb service, we had the 5 course tasting menu, which was a culinary delight. Very recommended.

Staff was really friendly and accommodating to everyone's dietary requirements. I, however, found it quite uncomfortable to notice only one toilet (used both by men and women). Worse is when customers are actually knocking the door to vacant the toilet. This is quite ridiculous given...the place is quite fancy but hasn't been able to create more lavatories.More

There is nothing negative I can say about this place. The restaurant is spacious, beautifully decorated;classy elegance. Food was incredible, each dish reminded a piece of art. Plating looked as if it was specifically designed to complement the food. The meal we chose was a...5 dish set menu. After 2 weeks in Krakow, it was liberating to break away from thesame typical menu you find in almost every restaurants. The service etiquette and high standard was impeccable. We will definitely be back.More

Booked and confirmed with restaurant 6 weeks before visiting to say a guest was a celiac and couldn’t eat gluten. Confirmation received that menu would be adjusted to suit. Food was presented with all gluten ingredients removed and no substitute. The celiac had 1/3 of...the meal of everyone else. Celiac serves barley wafers and soya sauce. Chef is utterly arrogant and clueless. Scallops were over cooked. Seasoning across the meal was overly complicated and thoroughly pointless. Service staff were amazing. So too was the ice cream.More

We gave my mother a visit to Krakow and a dinner at Studio Qulinarne for her 65th birthday. Entering the restaurant, we were pleased by the thoughtful and luxurious ambience, the live pianist playing some jazz/easy listening tunes was a nice touch. Altogether, the dinner...was excellent, though we had expected a little more innovation and finesse in the dishes. Service was excellent, wine pairing (we had the wine menu) could have been more exciting and maybe a bit more experimental (we mainly got wines from big districts in France and Italy). We also got the wines late – the wine for each dish came long after the dish had arrived. Otherwise, good food, friendly and professional service and well worth the little money we spent on this quite fine dining. With a little tweak here and there and a slight level up in the kitchen this could turn into a gem.More

I've been into Studio Qulinarne on a few occasions and never left dissapointed. Menu is changing frequently according to seasonality - traditional flavors are mixed creatively with new combinations. Service is spot on, decor and presentation are very unique as well. Worth visiting altogether -...and not only once! :)More

We had high expectations when we arrived, and we were not disappointed. We were very well greeted at arrival and taken care of by a meticulous team with a good sense of classic old world service. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance with splendid but...tasteful decor. We chose the five course set menu with the premium wine package and especially enjoyed the wine pairings. One of our group, who is a vegetarian, had her menu adjusted accordingly. Our sommelier suggested special wine pairings with her dishes that blew us away. The wines were really the star of the show as they all had such unique character and matched perfectly with our food. In general, our sommelier Kryzstoff guided us through the experience with both friendly charm and extensive knowledge which we really appreciated. We would like to return only to enjoy his splendid services again! We were presented with a cavalcade of texture and taste with every dish and the beautiful presentation of the food enhanced the experience. This is a place for foodies who appreciate subtle tastes, great wines and generous service. It would be very hard to find a place that offers so high standards at this cost.More

Very nice pizza combined with Romanian wines. Unfortunately they had limited choice of wines since the delivery did not come.
