Excellent food, great service, lovely atmosphere. We were a party of 3. We split the Rye soup, pork knuckle and potato pancakes. Everything was delicious. Entertaining music as we dined. The hotel is secluded on a quiet street and across the street from our apartment....You could not tell from the outside what the inside looks like.More
So good we ended up going twice! Really nice place with amazing staff and great food. Felt like I was having breakfast at a friend's house. Would defo visit again and recommend.
Cosy atmosphere. Bench style tables packed together. Service was excellent. Friendly and helpful (Excellent English). The menu might appear restricted but if you're happy to share you can make it work in everyone's favour.
Cozy restaurant, very good food and very polite waiter! The restaurant looks like a winter cabin and you can taste a real polish meal listening to traditional music! Recommended!
Interesting decoration and music. Real local food. Nice service people. Good atmosphere. Recommended for a different local experience!
Only open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. But five stars all around. Excellent Polish food and not to expensive. Around Zloty 40 to 50 for a main and Zloty 16 for a large lager. The meat on the pork knuckle was tender and came easily...of the bone. Great service byva young men in perfect English. So, a place to recommend.More
Very nice atmosphere, traditional Polish music and delicious food! If you want to eat in a traditional beautiful restaurant, I highly recommend it!
We ordered vegetarian dumblings and hunters pancakes. Both were delicious and portion sizes was good. Service was good and fast. English menu available. we can both recommend the place!
We had the platter to share between 3 of us and it was amazing. Flavours are plentiful and the service was really good. I would recommend to visit this restaurant during your stay here.
We had a shared plate and it was amazing. Great service and amazing food! The atmosphere and sheeting was very cosy and welcoming
Every time I'm on Cracow, I come back to this place. Always the highest quality. It is nice to see that Chata is still open after the pandemic. Good luck !
Maybe this restaurant was good once. It is not anymore. We came in to have dinner after reading so many reviews here. We booked in advance, but we were the only ones eating there. The waiter was the only worker in the restaurant (it seems...like in the kitchen too) and it was very hard to get anything as he was inside the kitchen the whole time. We ordered the biggest dish (the most expensive one too) and the food was terrible. Nothing was freshly made, everything was reheat. The dumplings were stuck to each other, some burned on the top, some cold inside. The meat was hard and with an aftertaste. The rice had burned flavor. The plate was chipped and had to be replaced. It was a terrible experience, and also expensive , with a bill of 300 pzl for a couple with kids. My son felt sick after and he was the only one to try one of the meats. Unless they change entirely the service and menu, don't waste your time and money.More
We pre-booked a table for seven at this quite small and intimate restaurant just 5minutes outside the old city walls. Service was absolutely first class. The restaurant focused on typical Polish cuisine. The hunters stew was delicious and filling, whereas the perogi dumplings and hunting...cakes also found favour with others in our group as the main meal. The tables in the back room were rustic styled with the tables and benches modelled on a country cabin. A great warm, feel good experience.More
For sure the best soup I tried during my vaccation in Krakow. Also the dumplings and the pancakes with potatoe were delicious. The atmosphere very cosy and traditional. If you travel in Krakow, don't miss it!
