Nothing fancy here, but yummy Polish food at very reasonable prices. The place was busy enough that the waitress warned of an hour wait. Tired and hungry we decided to stay and were rewarded with a delicious meal and delightful atmosphere. Bring a crowd if you can. They have a meat sampler that shouldn't be attempted by a couple. Just... More

Quite cheap, but service was pretty bad, portions small, choice very limited. Rustical but very basic and simple dishes.

Homely, hearty and tasty cuisine. Nice atmosphere, attentive service - it left me wanting more. The beer was very nice and reasonable for such a close jaunt from the old town. I will visit again on my next trip. The hunters stew was very, very good. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful assortment of meats/side dishes that were all prepared very nicely. I have never eater kiszka before... but is was VERY tasty! The soups were also very tasty. The atmosphere was like a mountaineers cottage is southern Poland. Wait staff were very friendly

The food was great and good value for your money. We were with 5, unfortunately only 4 of us got good at the same time. The 5th plate arrived after the other 4 already finished. They need more waiters!

Great, tasty Polish food! Two main meals and a couple of drinks each came to the equivalent of just under £20, but that's quite normal in Poland. The decor is like a hunting lodge with thick wooden seats and animal furs thrown over them. The waitress is worked at a pace that would put a British waitress in hospital..... She... More

As first time visitors we wanted to experience authentic Polish fare in a rustic atmosphere. Chata is the place to go for an old world experience and tasty, very reasonably priced food. We sampled the freshly prepared pierogi, gołąbki and gulasz and the tomato rice soup that came with the meal. The service was a bit slow and the waiter... More

Very cozy athmosphere with the old style wooden interior, feels very homely and unpretentious. The food is fantastic and very cheap, the portions are also quite large. The service is also very good, with friendly waiters who speak good english.

Well-priced tasty meals from local cuisine. Beers and bomba's are worthy trying also!!! Waitress was very friendly and English service.
