It took us a little while to find this restaurant which was recommended by our host. What a lovely place. Tucked on a back street and you sit out the back of the restaurant not on the pavement, in a court yard. There was live...music which was good. The food although a little more than in other places we visited, was delicious and just the right amount. We have found other restaurants served huge portions. The staff were friendly and attentive and you didn’t feel rushed. Definitely a place to go for a special occasion which this was for us. And Italian restaurant but not in the traditional sense that us British expect. Try it. You’ll be surprisedMore

Everything about this restaurant was fantastic - the service, the atmosphere, the setting and most importantly the food and wine. I am gluten intolerant and they were very thorough when I was ordering. We didn’t have a reservation but I would definitely make one in...future to avoid missing out. Our host/server was professional but friendly and made great recommendations with the wine as well as advising when ordering. The food was deliciously cooked and perfectly seasoned. Next time I’m in Kraków I’m I’ll be back here.More

Lovely setting and had a great atmosphere for a Sunday evening. Had lovely starters, with nice warm bread (only four slices between two of us though)! Main pasta dishes were nice - shame they didn’t have the vongole! Wine was a nice bottle but equivalent...of £30 (this was one of the cheaper bottles). Food was nice but expensive for the city I thought.More

I really, really wanted to love this place. We had planned to go for dinner but it was booked up, so went for lunch on our final day instead. Really atmospheric, quiet but with a gentle buzz. Nice tables, friendly service, as a venue this...should be knockout. But the food was disappointingly bland - decent presentation but just lacking any depth of flavour. We had three main courses between us and all had the same issue. And it’s relatively expensive for the city. Such a disappointment - the setting deserves better! I would go back - but just for some of their excellent fresh bread and a drink… One or two stars for food, but have to bump up for the atmospherics.More

Nice place but food is tasteless. Had 3 courses, main course was sent back since it was too bad to eat

This restaurant is superb in all respects. From the moment you walk into the courtyard you are greeted by charming waiters and then ushered to a table amidst well kemp verdant gardens. The menu is excellent providing sufficient choice without being overwhelming. My wife had...tagliolini con gamberetti. She said it was marvellous. I had tagliolini alle vongole. It was magnificent. The sauce was from another planet. We accompanied the mains with a reasonably priced Cabernet Sauvignon from Nelson in the very south of New Zealand. It was at least as good as its higher priced cousins from Marlborough Sound. We treated ourselves to dessert. My wife had tiramisu and I had meringue. They were both decadent and delicious. We finished off with coffee. No surprises here. It was lovely. My only trivial thought. Perhaps the waiters could be confident that they are serving excellent food and not bother the diners for a comment during each course.More

Best Italian restaurant in Krakau, without any doubt. We did also some others (with better scores on TripAdvisor) but La Campana is much finer. Both the antipasti and the main dish were really excellent.

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel, and did not disappoint. As we did not have reservations, had to come back on our second day for a very early dinner. Delicious, good value for money, extremely helpful staff. We were entertained with...live music; a guitar and a vocalist. Wonderful.More

Absolutely stunning restaurant that we stumbled across and just went in. Staff and service was exceptional and cost was reasonable . Food was good but lacking a wee bit on quantity and fairly plain. Slight disappointment as test of experience was fab.

The garden is so beautiful. We stumbled past this place but could see the trees lit up and just had to go in. Outdoor heaters and candles on the tables just added to the gorgeous surroundings. Food was incredible, absolutely delicious. We found the service...a little surly - very attentive but not very friendly or warm. It was the only thing that let this place down. Would return for the food and the setting though.More

My wife and I booked this Italian restaurant at the last minute. The table was in the beautiful garden, a charming setting. My wife mentioned she was a little cold and the waitress, who was excellent, immediately provided blankets and lit a heater nearby which...sorted the problem immediately. The food was really good, I had gambretti and a beef pasta dish, my wife burrata and a truffle tagliatelle which she really enjoyed. Her semifreddo with passion fruit was great as was my merringata. Our waitress , a young woman with long dark hair who had recently been to Georgia on a short break, was really good and will go far in the industry. She recommended a Polish white wine which was well priced and tasted very good. We had an excellent evening, thoroughly recommend.More

Recommended by our stellar hotel staff at the Balthazar Design Hotel, we made it to the restaurant with the good fortune of nabbing a reservation. The reception was warm and inviting. Too cool and wet to sit outdoors, we were escorted through a picture taking...room, with the espresso machine, to a bright and beautifully decorated seating area to a very private feeling table for 2. It was a very late lunch/early dinner for us so we were eating on the light side this evening. Warm and delicious breads to start with some delicious olives. Lovely wine selections. We each had a perfect “side” salad. For our main courses, my spouse had a divine cauliflower soup (of the day), and I had the strazziata pasta dish with a divine sauce and meat and vegetable.More

Very cosy and tasty place with superior service.👏 Everything we ordered was delicious, especially risotto and pasta. 😋 The prices are the same as in touristic places in old town in Krakow, but here you understand what are you paying for. Highly recommend for a...dinner, better to book tables in advance.More

As expected, food in La Campana was top-notch. Tomato cream soup, appetizer with olive oil and olives, pasta with boletus and truffle oil, veal parmigiana, were all of great quality. The only bad practice was to add pasta and gnocchi to both primo and secondo...piatto, but that is a matter of taste. On the other side, service was disastrous, waiter did not exchange a word with my table since the order had been put. He forgot to take coffee glasses away till the end of the meal and he brought pre-appetizer together with soup. By the end of the meal, a second waiter came and asked how the meal was, but that could not alter the impression of amateurish and horrendous service.More
