By staying in the Hotel Kossak, one gets to go to the Percheron for their sumptuous breakfast bar ... simply brilliant selection of hot food, fruit, fish, and breads. One will find everything one could ask for.
We had breakfast here when we stayed which was included, great breakfast lots of choice for everyone,it opens for lunch and closes at 6pm so you could have an early dinner.Service was good and the staff were pleasant .
This is the ground floor restaurant of the Hotel Kossak which is where we stayed in Krakow. After arriving at the hotel at 7pm we were too tired to go out and eat so after a quick freshen up we ate at Percheron. Although the...decor and view isn’t as stunning as the rooftop restaurant I actually preferred the food in this restaurant. The restaurant was quiet so we had excellent service from the lovely young waitress. We had a bottle of Rose and I had Boeuf Bourguignon and my husband lemon chicken both dishes were beautifully presented. What was Interesting was that the same bottle of wine in the rooftop restaurant was £4 more expensive! The food was lovely and for two with wine came to about £40 which is dear for Poland but good value for what we had. You also get 10% off food and drink if you’re staying at the hotel. My tip would be eat at Percheron and go up to Cafe oranzeria on roof for a drink and take in the view as the food in Percheron is slightly better than upstairs!More
We had lunch here yesterday and were very happy with both food and service. The bruschetta was the best I have ever tasted, lightly fried thinly sliced bread with a hint of garlic covered in blanched finely chopped delicious tomatoes. Main courses were tasty and...well presented, can recommend the chicken and the pork. Only one had room for pudding, apple pie, cherry sauce, ice cream and chocolate drizzle, yum, yum.
We decided to take coffee on the roof terrace of the hotel so that we could enjoy the fabulous views, so our tip is to pay the bill up to the pudding and then take the lift to floor 6 where you find the staircase to floor 7. Enjoy!More
