This restaurant is about 5 minutes walk to the main Square. Its on 3 levels. There is live music on the lower level but try and book. We couldn't get a table. But we ate on the ground floor. Our waiter spoke very good English and he was very helpful as it was our first night in Krakow. The food... More

The decor and overall feel is super nice, it feels like a log cabin with traditional polish music. The prices are unbeatable for the quality, and our service was fairly fast. The sheep cheese was to die for, and I got the potato pancake with goulash and sheep cheese, it was a huge portion for only 23 zł. Amazing what... More

We stayed at the Globtroter hotel (review coming up) and were recommended this underground restaurant Morskie Oko by the hostie of the corner bar in Plac Szczepański . A pleasant surprise! The decor suggests a likeness to the underground salt mine at Wieliczka, there are nooks and crannies everywhere, seating is mainly bench seats and tables for up to 8... More

In the mountain region. Literal translation is Sea eye. But this is The name of a lake in Zakopane. The restaurant is stylized from that region. The food was traditional and beyond reasonable in price. My husband had boar and goulash. I had borscht and trout. They also have a great eastern european wine selection which included choices from Humgary,... More

This was my first dinner in Kraków after a very long day of travel and it proved to be one of my best food experiences of my 5 day stay. Very atmospheric basement setting makes you really feel like your at a mountain retreat and the energetic live music was great. Beetroot soup was very tasty, and my main course... More

Lovely table service (thank you Agnieszka), unacceptable length of time to be served food. One of the meals we have ordered wich supposed to be a house speciality of Lamb sausages turned up as two small barely warm sausages on the oversized wooden plate with a dollop each of mustard and ketchup dumped on the top, a long with the... The food is polish and plentiful. There is live music downstairs, where we had a table by the "water feature". The food, drink and atmosphere cannot be faulted. I think we just struck unlucky with the waiter. Our order was taken quickly and the food starters and mains arrived fairly quickly but the waiter just going missing for ages. He... More

We came to this restaurant as recommended on trip advisor. We weren't exactly disappoint especially with the decor, music or service but the food wasn't as good as we had had on previous nights at other restaurants in Krakow. It was especially nice to have live music and the restaurant itself was lovely with lots of things to look at.... More

Restauracja Morskie Oko is a fantastic restaurant done out like a mountain lodge.Multi roomed on three levels with a cavernous cellar this place is a joy to look at with it's chunky wooden furniture exposed brickwork it gives the feel that you are in a mountain retreat.Reading the website after coming here this place is modelled on a lodge from...
