We visited Saturday night for an early booking as we were going to a concert at 8p.m. The service was quick and the food was lovely. We had a share of Potato pancakes and Prunes wrapped in bacon. The prunes were delicious. We then had steaks cooked to perfection, one wrapped in bacon the other in green peppercorn sauce. This... More

No reservation, just went in, it was quiet when we arrived but nice greeting and choice of seats. Good food, large portions, great vodkas, very friendly service and Traditional music too. Good value meal.

We had done a bike tour in the day time and our guide said we should try this place. Well we weren't disappointed! Omg, it is fantastic. The food was amazing and the place had an atmosphere to match. It was so reasonably priced too. On the list for next time we visit Krakow for sure💕

This hidden gem is an absolute must!! The interior is decorated as a traditional highlanders hut and the waiters and waitresses are dressed in tradition folk costumes. Book in advance for when the 'Kapela' is playing (Polish folk band) and ask to sit in the cellar. The food will not disappoint you either - amazing tradition Polish cuisine and if... More

We ate here on our first night which I think was just great to do. Yes it may be set up for tourists but for those who don't want to go hunting for quirky small off the beaten track places then this is as good as the rest of them around the area for displaying a traditional polish atmosphere. We... More

We ate at Morskie Oko on our second night in Kraków as we wanted to get the most 'real' experience possible and so we chose three dishes to share between the two of us. Zurek (traditional polish soup with white broth, smoked sausage and boiled egg, served in a large round loaf of bread), beef goulash on a potato pancake... More

Lots of menu choices. Many types of pierogies along with chicken, pork, beef and veal dishes to choose from. I enjoyed a great veal and mushroom dish. We had a potato pancake appetizer. Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly.

Went on a recommendation form hotel staff but I think it is more a tourist restaurant than one to give value for money. It has lots of wooden tables with sheep skins thrown on for padding. Staff in traditional dress to add to the polish feel but to be honest I was disappointed. Tried a variety of things some dumplings... More
