The service was amazing from the second we walked in the door, until the second we left! The variety on the menu is incredible, so much to choose from! And the food was 10/10.
We were served by Seyma and she was lovely! Very attentive, and made sure we were 100% happy!
We love Indian food, and this was up there with one of our favourite indians we’ve ever had!!
It was quick service, the food was piping hot when it arrived and tasted amazing!
The value for money is out of this world, for two mains, with a rice each, a naan and bombay potatoes to share and two large cokes it was £34!!!
To top off our amazing experience we received a free (rather large) starter because it was our anniversary! Which was such a nice touch.
Overall we will definitely be returning on our next trip to Krakow.

The food was lovely. On the samosa the oil was very clean. The paneer was fresh and house made and the little picked carrot and cabbage sides served on each plate were wonderful in their own right. Spice level on the Samosa and the sauces could have been higher but it is Poland so understandable to be a bit more mild in this place.
Ritesh was amazing. Making sure we understood our options when we ordered (he prevented us from ordering the wrong dish-without sauce). Little touches such as folding a napkin in a special way on the tea saucer and changing silverware between courses made the evening feel high end and more special.

I attended this place with my partner at around 20:00 hours on 27/03/2024.
We entered the restaurant and asked for a table for two. The waiter asked if we had a booking and looked annoyed that we hadn't, despite having four tables free. This set a stand offish and negative tone.
We ordered our food.
Starter- The pakora was stodgy and heavy .
Main course- I ordered the 3 in 1 curry. Salty and tasteless which reminded me of a ready meal and curry from a jar. Not in any way fresh. I counted 5 squares of what appeared to be microwaved chicken within this curry. The fries were greasy mcdonalds style fries. The naan was tasty. Between the combination 3 In 1 curry and my girlfriends curry I could not taste the difference as all the sauces tasted the exact same. They were also extremely salty.
I addressed it with the waiter after he saw we hadn't eaten all of our meal. He stated he would have been happy to replace the meal but I did not want this as all the food was consistently awful and at the stage of being halfway through the dinner I just wanted to pay and leave the restaurant as quick as possible.
I note that on other negative reviews the restaurant has a habit of being sarcastic to diners and/or calling them liars or saying they are deliberately leaving negative reviews. In pre emptive of such a reply, I would like to state that the offer to change the food is a solution that not many people will take. From a customer's point of view, once you have an awful main course you very rarely wish to wait again for another and just wish to clear the bill and go.
As opposed to posting sarcastic replies you might actually graciously take feedback on board and stop serving curries that taste like salt and like they came out of an uncle Ben's jar.
I won't be reading your restaurants reply as it's pointless. But please, other tourists take note, this has been over hyped. Offish staff with a bad attitude and salty awful curries and greasy food.

Thank you for visiting us. The day when you visited we were fully booked however the waiter still accommodated you. it's his duty to try his best to get you the place but at the same time to make sure that those who booked in advance will also get the table.
there is nothing to be annoyed about you might have misunderstood.
For your kind information 70% of our guests do not book the table and it's not even necessary.
Starter pakora which was stodgy and heavy according to you but you have finished it and did not even complain when the waiter asked you how your starters were and you replied everything was fine. (In review it turn out other way)
In the main course you ordered 3 in 1 which is chicken tikka masala, chicken palak and chicken dopiaza all of them are totally different. However, it's unique that you can't distinguish the flavors of Boiled chicken in a spinach sauce and grilled chicken tikka in a tomato and onion sauce. Surprisingly, spinach sauce and tomato onion sauce are the SAME for you.
we do apologize if food was salty it should not take place. we will make sure it will not happen again. you address it after the waiter had asked you multiple times how everything was and you said it's good. all of your curries were 80% finished but fries were not finished and that was the reason why waiter asked you if everything was okay then why you did not finish your fries and then you were sarcastically answer then it's too salty. and later he said if you very humble and kind to tell it early he would be able to change it as he wanted you to left happily
We are not being sarcastic to negative review but let me give you an example lets take yours your profile is full with negative opinions ONLY. it's clearly say about your satisfactory level when it comes to restaurants meals. we are happy to improve our food and service as much as we can do. if people who were also writing positive reviews, leave negative review but those who never ever been satisfied anywhere how you want us to respond to their feedback. you write your side story so you should be also open to listen to other side as well
WE ABSOLUTELY TAKE FEEDBACK ON BOARD IF ITS GIVEN BY THOSE WHO GENUINELY WANT US TO GROW.
If you look into our negative review which are less than 2%. and look at that 2% profiles.
we prepare freshly cooked meal. next time you would visit us we will be happy to give you kitchen tour then you will realized how our kitchen staff is working hard to make sure all our guest will leave with happy faces. they are humans, they might make mistakes and that is the reason why we proposed you to change the dishes.
computers also gets errors so after all we all are HUMANS.
Don't get offended it's just response to what you have already said.

We decided to go here for its glowing reviews and was shocked by how much hype it seems to be getting.
When we were seated our tablecloth was covered in crusty curry, probably left over from lunch time. We weren’t really put off by this though, we were just really looking forward to a decent curry. The service was good and we used the ‘secret phrase’ that gets you free poppadoms and dip. After finishing, we got our curries and what a let down. The Vindaloo was like nothing I’ve ever come across before, lacking in flavour and just didn’t taste right. My partner had a selection of 3 fish curries. Again, pretty similar, one of them was alright but the fish in all of them was poor. Instead of lovely and flakey it was more like fish jerky. Not great. We left some of our food (not like us, we love a curry) and decided it didn’t deserve a tip.
I started thinking that it might have been made for a Polish pallet, a simple explanation, but we tried another place in Zakapan after our poor experience and it was lovely. I think this place must just be a dud.

Possibly the best Indian restaurant we’ve been to! The loveliest of waitresses/waiters made sure everything was okay throughout the meal. Large selection of curries and could chose the spice! 10/10 recommendation⭐️⭐️

Excellent food, efficient service and one of the best curries i have ever eaten. Went here after a long day tour. Food was served well and the dishes are varied and all tasted fresh and spicy which is what I like in a curry. Large beers and a wine(the beers were a local polish choice and they were served in a 1litre)
Would definetly return and this curry house is not expensive either, one of the best meals we had whilst in krakow

I was in Krakow with a group of my clients and had to find an Indian to take them out to. I decided on the Tandoori Flame, as the reviews seemed good. I am an experienced curry eater, and cook my own curries at home, even making a tandoor to cook naans in. I therefore consider myself to be an authority and sometimes critical.
There were 11 of us and we turned up without booking. The restaurant was fairly busy, but the staff were very helpful and put the tables together so we were seated close together. We needed to pay for our meals individually, and the staff were happy to accept this. I kept a note of what I had and how much it was to help with this. I really can't comment on what other people had, but they all said they liked it, and it looked delicious. All the Indian restaurants I have visited in Poland only serve the second rate poppodoms, so I asked if I could see one. They kindly showed me one. We call them spiced poppodoms in the U.K. and I have to say I hate them! In general Indian restaurants don't do the large crispy ones we are used to. Because of that, no one ordered any. I credit the staff for allowing us to look before we bought!
I ordered Prawn Jalfrezi and asked for it to be hot. Together with Pilau rice (as colourful as the staff's waistcoats!), tarka dall and a Peshwari naan. The service for the drinks was quick, and all but one person got their main courses delivered quickly. They were left on heated stands, so didn't go cold whilst they brought all the side dishes out. Considering how busy the restaurant was, I was impressed by how quick our food was served.
Without a doubt this was the best curry I have had anywhere in Europe. I had two curries when I was Krakow last year, they were not a patch on this one. The food was tasty and I would like to go back on our last night in Krakow. Based on my one visit, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I read lots of great reviews so I went. The food was terrible. I ordered medium spice lamb vindaloo and it was bland and mild. My husband ordered butter chicken, it was tasteless. Tandoori naan not good. Almost as if it was frozen not freshly made. The service was great. Price good. But the food was not good, I tried to review them on Google and my review was blocked, I guess they have only good reviews on Google because they filtering the reviews

After 4 days in Krakow, my wife and I felt like sampling Indian food Polish style. We looked through the restaurants close to where we were in the old town, and found Tandoori Flame. We popped in about 5, booked a table for 7, and were greeted warmly when we showed up, we were fortunate to have Seyma as our waitress as she was very knowledgable about the menu and addressed our every need with a smile.
The popadoms and pickles were fantastic. The lime pickle in particular had a Smokey flavour we’d never come across before.
The main event was a veg biriani fir my wife and a tandoori mix for myself with cheese rice and a spicy massala sauce. All of which was some of the best Indian food we’d experienced.
Overall, Seyma was a delight and the service was excellent as was the food. A nice touch was not getting charged for another drink when i accidentally spilt mine on the table.
Would thoroughly recommend. Great place!

Very good food, and excellent drinks! The food came relatively quickly and was served in creative and fun ways. Our server Joe delivered very good service, and was both helpful and nice. We had a great visit :)

As we met Seba on the strip at Quarteira opposite the restaurant yesterday during the day promoting the Tandori Flames restaurant we loved her warm friendly and approachable manner and decided to give it a try for our evening meal last night (as we are not used to spicy food) Seba was our waitress who guided us through the menu with her knowledge and our meal was superb. We recommend you try this restaurant when in Quarteira, you won't be disappointed. Ask for Seba (she is the loveliest lady)

We were excited to try this restaurant based on other reviews.
The overall decor of the restaurant was traditional Indian and seemed inviting, but as more people arrived, there was no ventilation what so ever.
i ordered Paneer pakora and my husband had vegetable pakora. The vegetable pakora was like nothing we’ve ever seen before in Indians we have dined at all round the globe, and he couldn’t eat it. The Paneer pakora seemed nice at first until I bit into a piece of chicken pakora!!! (I DO NOT eat meat and was left quite upset by this.) When I showed the lady waitress she argued with me that it wasn’t chicken it was paneer and that she would show me in the kitchen the kind of paneer they used. She soon found out I was in fact correct when she came over and said Chef had no idea how it got there! Lack of empathy or apology. Totally shocking and unforgivable in my book. Mistakes happen - but these things should never be mixed, and then to argue with a paying customer - disgusting.
The main courses were also below average. My husband ordered Chicken tikka masala, he said the sauce tasted like it was out of a jar, and chicken rubbery. The rice was freezing cold, had to be heated up - we also heard a backhanded comment about asking for this from the server. The only part he managed to eat was the Naan and fries, which arrived after the rest of the meal. We promptly asked for the bill.
Before leaving I ventured to the bathroom which was not much better, with a broken toilet seat, dead plants, steamed up mirror and no soap in the dispensers.
The only good things were the XL drinks available and the quirky starter serving platters.
I must add the waiter was lovely, shame about the waitresses attitude towards us.
The starters were wiped from the bill, but does not excuse feeding meat to a vegetarian.

We apologised for the mistake that took the place during your visit. As you als mention that resturant was busy and kicthen was more busy that it semms from outside. May that was the reason that sich a mistake took the place. however that doesn't mean it should be foregivable. The waitress was not arugeing with she was trying to ask you if all the pakoras where chicken or the piece which was left in plate. it was great that you have notied the chicken piece before it could be eaten.
we again appologize for it. it was happened first and last time.
when it comes to vetilation it works proparly but we do serve sizzler that are hot and sizlling.
the vegetable pakora was not eaten because you thouht that it wil be similar like in picture in menu but that was onion bhaji pakora. vegetable pakora are pieces of vegetable battered in gram flour and deep fried this how it serve in INDIA AND GLOBALLY "pakoras that he was execting was onionbhaji but unfortunetly that was not ordred by him "
"no one shows attitide to customers, if mistake was already made there is no possiblity to go in past and change it. what was possible was appologies which was done more than 5 times but just you know which kind of appology you were required.

Lovely restaurant with extremely friendly staff - Seyma, our server, was so attentive and made sure we were happy with the menu and our choices once served. Other colleagues in the restaurant also checked in on us whilst dining too. The food was plentiful and very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Came here for lunch with my boyfriend and it was amazing! Our waiter was Sejuireby he was fantastic, he made sure we got the best out of our meal. He even recommended we try something similar to the dish we wanted and it didn’t disappoint! Absolutely fab, good prices, couldn’t recommend more!!
