Our dining experience at Ristorante Sant'Antioco was simply wonderful. We chose to have an early dinner and happily beat their evening rush. My spouse enjoyed the Spaghetti with Prawns, while my order of Black Tagliatelle with Scoglio Tavolara (mixed seafood) was prepared with gluten-free pasta. The food was beautifully plated but most importantly was simply scrumptious. Their wines were priced on the high side, but the complimentary glasses of limoncello were a lovely gesture. We admittedly were quite surprised to find such excellent Italian food in Krakow.

The food was delicious, worth every penny. The wine was wonderful as well. Our waitress, Adrianna, was fantastic! She was friendly, not overly so. She served us the six glasses of limoncello, she even had four glasses of limoncello as well. (The other table declined it.)

During a long holiday you want to try again the Italian flavors. It’s called the restaurant and they answer .. “Good evening, restaurant”, and already you start them well, you speak Italian. The very nice manager, Sardinian, offers Italian dishes both pasta, fish or meat (and I must tell the truth .. I took the same wonderful first twice ..). Come to Stefano, an exquisite and professional person, you eat as if you were in Sardinia, Culurgiones with cuttlefish ink with fish ragout, Paella di fregola, grilled tuna, Culugiones with ricotta and Seadas.

We went to this restaurant while traveling in Krakow. The location is nice and the food is of good quality. The owners are 2 very nice Sardinians and are ready to give clarifications on Krakow and the surrounding area. Let's look at the prices: a 100g cut (4 small pieces) with 2 baked potatoes and a bit of rocket cost 30 euros (130 zlotys). Innanzitutto grazie per aver scelto il nostro ristorante e per le belle parole. Dobbiamo però rispondere ad alcune evidenti inesattezze che tutti i nostri clienti abituali sanno e che i futuri clienti potranno agevolmente scoprire. La tagliata è grammata a 200/220 grammi e non certamente a 100. Si tratta di una tagliata di pregiato filetto di manzo argentino. In tutti gli altri ristoranti di Cracovia lo stesso filetto viene venduto ad un prezzo notevolmente superiore se calcoliamo l'aggiunta del contorno. Il prezzo di alcuni vini sardi è dovuto al prezzo altissimo a cui noi siamo costretti ad acquistarli dai grossisti poiché si tratta di vini che si possono trovare esclusivamente nel nostro ristorante in Polonia e vengono importati solo per noi. Non facciamo margini superiore a quelli normalmente in uso nella gastronomia. In genere il prezzo dei vini di importazione in Polonia è piu alto rispetto a quello che si può trovare in Italia perchè i ristoratori sono costretti a comprare dai grossisti ai prezzi che in Italia si trovano nelle enoteche nella vendita al dettaglio. Capiamo comunque che un cliente non a conoscenza di queste dinamiche resti stupito dei prezzi dei vini in Polonia. Anche questo dato è facilmente verificabile controllando a caso il prezzo dei vini in tutti i ristoranti di Cracovia. Infine facciamo notare che a Cracovia c'è un solo ristorante che può vantare le stelle Michelin, cosa ben diversa dai solo 'raccomandati' dalla celebre guida. Si tratta di un ristorante di cucina polacca con due stelle Michelin. Si tratta di un ristorante di grandissima qualità che sta facendo un lavoro eccezionale nel promuovere la cucina polacca d'autore nel settore del fine dining. Il menù di solo cibo di questo ristorante viene venduto attualmente a 184 euro a persona. Con l'abbinamento dei vini il costo sale a 279 euro a persona. Did a little research before we visited Krakow for the weekend and decided that for something special we would book Sant'Antioco for dinner - we were not disappointed !
Our experience here was just excellent ! It started the moment we came through the door and were greeted by two gentlemen who made it very obvious that they were determined to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The waitress who served us could not have been more helpful.
We opted to eat in the basement section and the overall ambiance was just a little bit special.
I am lucky enough to have eaten in some really top class Italian restaurants in many Countries and Sant'Antioco is one of the very very best of them.
If you are looking for great food and a wonderful experience in Krakow I can highly recommend this establishment.

A real authentic gem of an Italian restaurant in the middle of Krakow..can't get any better. Really good for prepared food made completely from scratch, attentive waiters who made recommendations of wine for the individual dishes. The restaurant is definitely not expensive. A very beautiful place...remember to choose to sit in the basement!.

We initially discovered this restaurant for the Sardinian flag outside the venue and it was a very pleasant experience. The food was great, as if we were in Italy, the waitresses extremely friendly and the atmosphere serene and pleasant. I highly recommend seafood dishes.
