Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. We were early evening so was not busy. Every course was excellent. Was not sure about wine pairing but went with it and was exceptional. Sommelier recommendations were excellent. Were slightly concerned about the price but we're pleasantly surprised

We ordered the tasting menu - 4 persons. It consisted of 6 courses, but if we had ordered 6 individual courses for each of us, it would have been cheaper AND we would have gotten more food, as each course was reduced in size as...a serving as part of the tasting menu. When this was pointed out to the staff, they were unsure of what to respond to this. So just make sure to check the pricing before ordering. We were left feeling a bit hungry still, which was a shame because the wine pairing for each course was excellent (it had us wishing for more though, but were great choices).More

We ate here as we couldn’t get in to Moo Moo as they were fully booked and thank goodness it was or we would have missed out on this little gem of a restaurant. We were in Krakow for a few days and very luckily had this restaurant recommended to us by the receptionist of our apartment. Massive piece of luck. I've been lucky enough to eat in a few Michelin starred restaurants and I have to say the...food here was absolutely superb and on a par with them. One of the best meals I have ever had, hence we went back again. The pasta with squid ink, tiger prawns and squid was faultless, a taste sensation. My wife had beef fillet on our return and that too was wonderful. The pistachio creme brulee was delicious, generous portions of tasty bread, excellent wine. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive but in a non intrusive way. They were so lovely though we did get chatting. Tomasz, the sommelier, was wonderfully informative with his extensive knowledge of wine and I learnt quite a bit. I've described the restaurant as Fine Dining because it is on merit, but frankly compared to the cost of infinitely lower standard UK restaurants which are more expensive I think you could say Mid Range. We came to Nota on the off chance that we would get in (after being let down by a previous booking) - luckily, a cold Wednesday evening meant they sat us immediately. The service was amazing - every waitress knew their stuff and recommended wine...based on the food we wanted. My partner is Coeliac and the waitresses were so careful to explain what he could eat and checked with the chef on top of this. We were treated to complementary fresh bread, and they even provided gluten free bread for my partner, without fuss or asking. It felt incredibly well put together and careful, and (as anyone with allergies knows) it took all the stress of eating out away. We ordered the Polish beef fillet and sides, and it was incredible. The fillet was perfectly cooked (a medium and a medium rare) and the truffle sauce is just amazing. The sides were all so well-cooked and we left feeling so satisfied. When the bill came, it was such a pleasant surprise. In England, an equivalent meal would have been well over £100, but two of us dined for only £60, including wine and two steaks. We are already planning our next visit here and can’t encourage you enough to come here!More

please ignore the clear 1 review wonders below. we chanced our arm at a walk in at Nota and was told at the desk by the front of house they were fully booked. and clearly they were busy. but then we caught the attention of...(possibly) the manager who said they could fit us in if we didn't mind a 20 min wait whilst they got food out. not a problem and great front of house work. we settled into a table in the conservorty and settled on the 7 course tasting menu. we ordered at 8pm and the food started coming out at 8.15pm. and was still coming at 10pm it was all amazing. tasty dishes you prob wouldn't order in the Uk - steak tartare?! - but was such a good experience. the service was excellent, wine glasses never going empty and a description of all the dishes. we throughly enjoyed the experience and was one of the last to leave. the value at less than £150 was unbelievable. highly recommend and thanks for fitting us inMore

Very long waiting time for food one hour. I have nothing more to say. I won't be going there again. I thought it would be different especially since no one was there when we arrived.

Whilst food is freshly cooked don’t expect to wait 2 hours for a main course. Neglectful service, a zero response when advised that food was cold and outright rudeness when asked for service charge to be removed. Any request from females in party were ignored....Constant traffic of staff through door next to table presumably through to next door bistro disrupting evening. Food when arrived was good for some, mediocre for others. Very disappointed as staying in apartments above restaurant and would have dined more frequently here and in bistro but recommend giving it a wide berth , there are far better restaurants in Krakow with much more pleasant service. This is the only place in Krakow where service has been less than super friendly, they let the place down. Expensive and not good.More

Enjoyed the delicious menu and good wines. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved to look in the kitchen and were impressed by the cool cooks.

Best gastronomic experience. Try 6-course Tasting Menu with wine pairing. It is amazing. The service is impressive. We had a great dinner and listened to stories about the wines and dishes.
